"We barely speak." Alex grunted.

"Yeah? I still remember how bitchy you were when I was escorting you to your dad's place."

"And we barely talked most of the way."

"Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight..." Brad said, rolling his eyes.
"Faster dammit! I wanna get home NOW!" he said in a higher pitched voice, acting like Alex.

"You spoke the whole way."
