Demios was glad to be in the group with Cecilia and Roulin. He knew together they'd be alright, he just hoped the other teams would get away safely. When Roulin teleported them a short distance away Demios kept his eyes open for trouble. "Roulin if we can get far enough away I can put glamor's over us" He said. He had used magical disguises before and it normally worked.

Cecilia felt the small wave of nausea that came with teleporting. It also didn't help that it was done twice; the first time retrieving Demios and the second time, reappearing three miles from where they once were. It seemed that Roulin's energy tank was fairly close to empty and that was why he couldn't teleport them very far. Seeing the worried expression upon Demios's face, she spoke reassuringly. "The others will be all right. We'll meet up with them again soon enough. For now, we need to worry about getting away ourselves. My energy is completely diminished and Roulin's is almost on empty. We'll need to find a place to rest safely and replenish what we've lost. I'm sure once it's safe enough, we can find a way to contact the others through cell phones or telepathy, whichever works better." Surprisingly, despite all that had happened and the danger they were in, Cecilia was rather calm. It was then she heard the sound of something coming towards them and the haunting howl of what seemed to be a dog...or a few dogs. "Does anyone else hear a dog, or am I just losing my mind now?" she asked gazing in the direction the howls were coming from.

Kojiro blushed slightly when she called his name cute,"...Those 15 nights the moon begins to grow...and blossom...and the 16th is the night just after the full moon...there was a story my mother always used to tell me about my name....but I can't remember..." he explained quietly. Kojiro stopped moving, his trap was about to b tripped, as the ice on the ground slowly crept towards her feet, but she began taking a different tone. Kojiro stopped the ice and it evaporated completely, he felt somewhat relieved to hear his family was safe. He took the water and looked at it hesitantly, he closed his eyes and drank the water as quickly as possible, he placed the empty cup on his lap as he gasped for air, he felt lightheaded for a split second he grimaced but tried hiding any sign of distaste ,"...It tasted horrible..." he thought to himself. He looked back at her,"...Thank you..." he mumbled,"...Is she trying to kidnap me?" he wondered, he shook the thought out of his head and shook his head,"...It's true though...there is no use lying to myself...I saw it with my own eyes...as hard as it is...I need to accept it..." he explained, showing her earlier statement, as harsh as it was, did hit it's mark. Kojiro looked down at his lap,"...I....I don't use my powers often..." he explained,"...I only use them in a life or death situation...or if my family is in grave danger...and even then...I never actually use it in excess...." he continued,"...the only other time I would use it...is for small purposes and favors asked of me by the more senior members of the Fallen Phoenix...or simply family members I trust with no doubts...." he added. Kojiro then realized something,"...You knew what my name meant?..." he studied her features and then looked at her with some light in his eyes,"...You know japanese?" he asked curiously.

It was frustrating that the masses of Owl attackers had foiled her defensive measures so easily. A small scowl appeared on her features. But before she could unleash more spirits, Thomas called for a retreat. Of course, Kate did not agree. But before she could voice any concerns though, Che had arrived and all but agreed with Thomas. It was probably better for them to retreat now, regroup, and then retaliate later. But before Kate could give her opinion, Che had grabbed hold of her and Thomas and took off running using his super speed. Che had a relatively strong hold on her arm at the wrist. She was literally almost being dragged after Che, but her feet were basically flying out behind her. "Che! What in the bloody hell are you doing!?" Kate shouted over the wind as Che was running.
Fortunately for Kate, Che finally slowed to a stop miles from where his old house had been standing where the battle had been taking place. Kate didn't know exactly where they were, but they seemed to her to still be in the United States. Once Che had set her on her feet, Kate tugged her arm free of her grasp. "There was no need to drag me like some flag in the wind, Presidiomini." Kate stated, giving Che a slight glare.

Itachi noded when Jeannie got on the horse and gave her name. That meant they had there 3 and it was time to move as the horse suddenly bent low before charging out of the house like a rocket charging at low altitude for a moment skidding over some of the soldiors as the flaming horse burned those alive as it passed, as its heat was immense. Once clear of the house more it zoomed upwards in a zig zag motion to avoid being shot as its pattern was unpredictable and far too fast. In a moment the house was out of sight as the horse sped up breaking the sound barrior a couple of times as it moved. After it was well clear of the house and the town it was in the horse slowed down to more bearable speeds as itachi now spoke. " Allright then were clear of the fight for the time being now we need a destination anyone have one in mind? We should get out of the country in case that was UNS but otherwise im clueless as to where to go." said itachi waiting for a response while the horse soared through the sky. It had spread flaming wings now for a steadier flight allthough that was of no importance really.

Roulin teleported as far away from the heated battlezone as his non Life Owl form would allow. After coming out a few miles from the area, Roulin let go of Demios' and Cecilia's arms. For now, they were safe, but they had to keep moving in order to keep the status. "Yeah, we will." Roulin echoed Cecilia's words assuringly. If they were to mount a defense against this new threat, then they'd need to regroup and discuss some type of plan. More than likely, it would end up being a direct strike against them and their headquarters. Until everyone's feet were planted on stable ground again though, the offensive strike would have to sit on the back burner. "Damn it. These last few fights have put my healing power in the negative. A good sleep should bring it back up though. And Demios, do whatever you may to help us. The more you can do, the better."
In the distance, he could hear barking and howling. Just after Cecilia had brought it to his attention, there it was getting louder and louder. Furthermore, it sounded as if there were more than one dog. At least three and they were all rather tough and brutish sounding. Along with them was the faint presence of Will. Gathering himself for another quick fight, Roulin hoped that Will would take care of the canines before they got to the trio. Instead of seeing three pit bulls, german shepherds or some form of attack dog, there was a glowing three headed dog that simply ran up to them as if it had known them for ages. "It's a--a Cerberus. A small Cerberus at that...has Will's energy and stuff. Think he sent it to protect us? Because of so, it's pretty small to be the mythic beast I know he can conjure." Within seconds, the beast grew to the form that Roulin had expected from it. The now scared teen fell back onto his bottom as the dog stood panting hot, excited breaths from all three mouths. "Yeah! I take it back! Get small again! Please!"
~~~
"I was saving us is what I was doing miss. If you must know." When Che stopped in another unknown part of the United States, he brought a palm to his face and lowered it roughly with annoyance. Things had passed by in a blur so there was no telling where he'd end up at. He just wished it was someplace familiar with a bar or a restaurant. Oh well. Now that they were here, they could only make the best of it. Between him and Thomas, just as long as they could find somewhere to sleep, things would be alright. To Thomas though, that meant a bed. To Che, it meant anything with a long broad surface. "Well now, the next time we get into a war with those guys....those traitors, then I'll leave you Ms. Thing. Does that sound alright to you? Geez...not even a thank you." The mastering owl proceeded forth in a slight huff. He wasn't serious. Alot of his life-saving actions had went without gratitude. What he was more frustrated at now was just getting back. At least with two of the smartest people he knew, there would be some figuring of something. "You'd better be glad you're a good friend Kate. Or else I'd leave you here. Now, anyone know what the hell happened back there? They came out of freaking nowhere on us? I need a story and I need one now. You first Ms."
"I have every right to be resentful and ungrateful. You grabbed hold of me without warning and dragged me along like some flag off of an... an antenna on your car!" Kate's eyes narrowed. Sure, she was grateful that Che saved her. But she was still annoyed that he unceremoniously grabbed her and dragged her along like he had.
When he asked for her for her input on what the heck happened, Kate snorted in disapproval before giving her a reply. "I have no idea what happened, Che, how do you expect me to answer that?" she retorted, rolling her eyes and looking away from Che and Thomas. She did not mention that she had 'felt' the many spirits moving to surround the house long before the attack began. Mostly, because Che was already ticked off enough that Kate didn't think it was worth the stressful time to talk about it now.
Cecilia squinted her eyes and looked towards the distance. The howls grew louder and louder as the creature drew closer. Cecilia felt her heart beat wildly as a three-headed dog approached them. She remembered reading about the giant three-headed dog who guarded the gates to the Underworld in Greek Mythology. When the creature grew in size, Cecilia approached it, stepping around Roulin who had fallen on his rear end. The creature turned its heads towards her and lowered them to sniff her. The hot breaths tickled Cecilia's face. All three heads whined in unison as if wanting Cecilia to pet them. Cecilia smiled cheerfully and patted each head earning a satisfying groan from the three-headed creature. "He's actually kind of cute. Yes, aren't you just the cutest giant three-headed dog," she cooed before looking back towards Roulin and Demios. "We'll be able to escape further away if we ride on him," she said before she directed her attention back to Cerberus. "We need you to shrink back down again, smaller than the form you're in now, but big enough so all three of us can ride you without slipping off. Oh and, you're giving poor Roulin here a heart attack," she said glancing back at her leader, her eyes twinkling mischievously. Cerberus seemed to understand for he shrank down slightly, still quite large, but not as massive as before. The creature lowered its body so that Cecilia could climb on. She looked down at Roulin and Demios impatiently. "Well? What are you waiting for? Climb on!" Bailey seemed unconcerned as Nik mentioned throwing her out of the shadow. She looked around. She expected there to be no one else besides herself, the dancing shadow moron, and the human girl, but Bailey also saw two more girls. It was rather difficult to determine if they were Owls or humans. One seemed to radiate a rather cheerful and happy aura, while the other radiated nothing, but gloom and sadness. "Er...hi," Bailey said uncertainly. She watched as Nik dug the bullet from his shoulder. Many women would wretch at the sight, but Bailey was quite used to a lot more gore than what she was witnessing. In fact, it wouldn't even register on the blood and gore meter at all. When he began bobbing to his music again, she found herself looking away once again, not out of embarrassment, but because there was no reason to watch him anymore. She bit her lip as she gazed upwards hoping that the others were all right. Her worry was especially strong for Luca. Had he made it out all right? Or was he....Bailey shook her head. No, she refused to believe that. Luca was very strong. It would take a lot more than this to kill him. Still...the worried expression would not leave Bailey's face.
How was Itachi going to provide them a way to escape but not know where to go? Jeannie rolled her eyes as she could tell that she would have to be the brains out of the three. "My father had a summer house in Barbados, we will go there and remain hidden for a while" proposed Jeannie. She would then make calls to people that she needed to make calls to in due time. "Don't worry that's probably one of the safest places to be, besides the whole tourism thing. And the house is actually located inside and underground lake cavern so accessing it from the outside would be difficulte" she told him.
Roulin had scampered backwards a few steps each time cerberus breathed. The dog was massive, scary, but oddly, it was also warmly sparkly. This was only because of what it was made out of. In no way was the animal huggable. That is, until Cecilia managed to make it seem as if it were just that. Roulin's eyes widened and shined with concern when she approached the machine of destruction. She had called it cute and even complimented it further as she started to pet it like a domestic...pet. "Cecilia...what're you doing?" whispered the fearful Owl to his already damaged teammate. If it attack, which now seemed impossible for it to do, he didn't know what he'd do to escape of defend himself or her. Still, he trusted her judgement.
With a grin, Roulin acknowledged that his assistant had a pretty brave heart. She had managed to calm the beast and even board it. That was their transportation problem solved. "Totally happy I hired you now. And I'm coming, I'm coming. Just let me find my spirit and I can hop on..." Taking Demios by the hand, Roulin tiredly pulled himself and his partner aboard the electric beast. "Alright. Second test Cici. Seeing if you can drive a dog. Do you have the keys?"
~~~
"Eh, well, I guess you're right. Don't know much about what went on besides we got attacked." Che decided as he walked around that long expanse of road. Looking around into the nighttime, the features of the land began to ring a few bells, but the more he thought about where they were, the faster nothing came to mind. "We do have one lead though. While in the grocery store, Amara noted that we may have been under attack by the UNS. That would make since because no Owl/Human team has access to such advanced tools. I mean...a ******** serum that takes away powers?"
"Just blocks'em Che. Nothing more than that. I can still feel my Negation, but it's weaker than a pig in a slaughterhouse." Thomas chimed in. He too had no idea where the trio had stopped at. It looked like the country though. To their right was a small one story house with a red brick chimney. Everything else was wheat and corn. Behind and in front of them was just a long two lane strip of road that seemed to go on for miles upon miles. Adding to what was already said, Thomas spoke up, "UNS? Tell that psychic psycho she's wrong. The UNS wouldn't fire on me! I'm it's damn leader!"
"I guess the president got tired of your smell and finally decided to oust you. It was bound to happen really. Smell or not, you are an Owl therefore you need to be killed along with the rest of us bad smelling Owls." Che jeered. Still though, he was serious about the matter. The government led the UNS and had more say so than Thomas. This wasn't good. Now that they had means to remove powers, that meant that Thomas wasn't needed anymore. The entire UNS branch wasn't needed anymore. This only meant death and destruction for Owls who were hiding or Owls who actually needed their powers to live. "Yeah you two. I think things are going to get far more grim now before they even begin to get better."

Demios was glad to have a good method of transportation, but when they mentioned driving it he smiled. "Leave that to me" He said. He then held his hands out forming reigns for the dogs again. "Lets just hope this dog will be enough" He said. He then thought for a moment "Mercury bubbles blast!" He said forming a thick mist around the area making them hard to find. "This should work long enough for us to escape" He said. He leaned against the nearest person feeling tired.

Cecilia situated herself atop the back of the giant three headed dog making herself comfortable as she waited for Roulin and Demios to climb on. "I wonder if Will will let us keep it," she said as she patted its massive neck. "It would make a good pet." Finally, Roulin and Demios were behind her upon the creature. It was clear that Cerberus understood what they were saying for it seemed to listen quite well. Cecilia leaned down to speak to their mode of transportation. "We need you to take us as far as possible, but preferrably not out of America. We need to keep it in the states for now." She made sure that Roulin and Demios were holding on tightly to something before she nodded and spoke one single word. "Go." Cecilia's upper body was thrown back slightly as Cerberus took off at a blurred speed. She didn't notice it, but because of the attack upon the house and the evading that Cecilia was forced to do, and the fact that she had fallen a few times, her wound had opened back up and was bleeding again, it was quite prominent through her shirt.

"A pet huh? If he had seatbelts, he'd be a great Sedan or something." Roulin tried to find a good position to sit in just incase the dog decided to shoot off in any direction. This was a rollercoaster with now support and restrait and that only sent shivers up the worrying owl's spine. When Demios leaned against his back, he almost leapt from his position between him and Cecilia. He knew there would be a major expenditure of power if he decided to dig deeper and this notion kept him on his toes. As a last resort for stability, Roulin slowly placed his hands on Cecilia's sides. The last thing he wanted to do was come off like his dad...he was sure she'd understand once they got back on solid ground.
All of that changed though when Demios gave them a veil of mist. He couldn't see anything. Instantly, bad thoughts flowed through the usually hopeful teen's mind. When the beast shot off from Cecilia's command though, Roulin's arms wrapped around Cecilia's waist and tightly, he held on for dear life. "Cecilia! I apologize for the closeness! But I don't want to freaking die! Why'd you command it to shoot off like this!!" Roulin's voice undulated with each leap and bound the massive animal took.

Cecilia felt her cheeks redden as Roulin placed his hands upon her sides. It only deepend as his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. Cecilia dug her legs slightly into the three headed creatures sides, so that she could hold on. Roulin's vice like grip was hurting her and she shifted uncomfortably. "I know you're not very comfortable, but I thought it would be best to get as far away from possible in a short amount of time. I can fly faster than this, so this is nothing to me," she said before wimpering. "Now then, I don't mind the closeness, but do you think you could loosen your grip on me just a little bit? You're hurting me." She didn't understand why Roulin was so frightened. Surely he had been on faster rides before. "But if it'll make you feel better....Cerby, slow down just a little bit for us before Rou has a nervous breakdown," Cecilia said snickering. The creature complied, reducing its speed slightly, still traveling fast, but not as fast as before.
