There's a Paris in Ontario too.
Also, Orleans was taken from France, so really all we did was staple 'New' in front of it. Both Canada and the US are guilty for that, but I don't know which one did it first.

And that's just in one state. But I do know there is a town in the States called Chevy Chase. I called there one time. Love the name, and the actor xd
Also, there's a town in Newfoundland, not too far away from where I live too, that would blow all those names you just named out of the water. There's a town in Newfoundland called d***o xd

But really, d***o is a really wonderful place. I would never live there but it's really is a good place. Especially the little shack there that makes wonderful fish and chips.
There are some other town names that make eyebrows raise, like Come-By-Chance. Then there's the 'heart triangle'. Three towns are arranged in a triangular shape on maps, named Heart's Content, Heart's Desire, and Heart's Delight. Of course, you have to travel across a half an hour of barren land to get to it. I kind of think that waxes poetic, but I digress. There's another place called Mahers, pronounced 'Mars'. I would love to work in a call center there. "Where are you calling from?" "I'm calling from Mars" xd
