New Captain, probably transferred in from Iwatodai District? Sounds familiar...
Perhaps that's something that could be explored?

It could. I have a... few people who came in from the Iwatodai region, at least. >D

But mostly I'm trying to decide which personality to start off with...

Which would most entertainingly interact with an eccentric, sun-praising new Captain transferring in from Iwatodai District?

Depends on my current mood at the moment. XD Normal Ruri would be... very easily swept along by anyone with a strong personality, and increasing frantic attempts to look for a way out have their own sort of funny. Crazy Ruri would probably start encouraging others to praise the sun as well... and start shooting if they don't. Or just start shooting and then tell them to praise the sun. Or praise the sun while she's shooting...

I'm not sure yet. XD; I haven't got a solid image of her personality in my mind since I haven't actually posted either way.

And if she were sent by General Serph to find a lost SunBro who failed to report either to the office to introduce himself upon arrival in town...and also failed to report to school as his own transfer orders demanded he be allowed to do...how would that affect her mood upon finding him?

Perhaps having that situation to go on might help shape your idea?

She's probably be in Atma and start shooting at him (barely missing) as soon as she saw him. ^^ Then complain about all the work he's putting her through... and the moment he mentions the sun, shoot at him again.

Well if she's looking for him for...that reason...or any other...he's currently praising the sun on top of the Embryon Headquarters. 8D
