Yeah the Gaia issues seem to be more and more frequent, I got stuck doing obligatory stuff yesterday so tried to check in on phone and got 504: Bad Gateway again. What a lil hellraiser of a bird damn, aren't there those lil sound devices you can get that emit a sound birds hate? Sure I saw something to that effect the last time I was at the local hardware store. Aww sorry for your ma, teeth and ears go weirdly hand in hand with health stuff, I'm sure some of mine are linked to a wisdom tooth that's needed pulling for way too long. Rly hope she get's patched up and feeling good soon! heart A kareoke mic sounds fun af Magarah! I treat the music where I work as a personal backing track for my performances, people don't seem to mind xp Been bogged down in oligatory stuff the last few days, only sitting down now and doing my nails. I spent an hour just now getting the old game Theme Park World (Sim Theme Park was the name for MERICANS) working and I pulled it off! Took 2 patches, 3 reboots, registry changes and running in compatability for windows xp service pack 3. But I did it and I can just dive into a game I have played since my age was a single digit, feels magical getting a silly game from 1999 to work again whee Hope the day was kind to all!

Quick reset today, absolutely beat, wound up only sleeping 4 hours then had to stand in work in a triple digit amount of lights.
I have already napped and imma do it again.

and aaron thats fabulous on the theme park world! i dabbled in a bit of roller coaster tycoon when i was a kid and bf helped me get a coop modded version working while back and i felt the same! but to actually boot ur old save from a lil kid? that's somethin special! grats!!!
im funky today. i keep trying to get time to game or chill or anything and im just consumed the majority of the day and nite sometimes just keeping the house in shape, keeping bro going, keeping mom surviving for now. im worn out. i gotta get mom and i to dentist by 1030 am tomorrow so we'll leave at 930.. but then bro said he'll get in at midnite and need 2 loads of laundry done.. and our washers fooked so we hand agitate it.. we prepped raw chicken nugget pieces and breading to fry so i guess imma try to get mom to go to bed at a decent time and i'll stay up till friggin 3am doing laundry and frying nuggets, sleep 5 hours and go to the dentist for my deep cleaning then moms appts at noon then we pick up a 40 lb box of chicken to come home and put in like 16 lil baggies for freezer.. so i have about 3 hours to drink kava and forget my name lol
gotta do the things tho. least she seeing a dentist for consultation. they better not put her off long. antibiotics are just now starting to help her.
ya'll have a good nite! i didnt realize i didnt post yesterday. my days get away from me lol heart

I am freeeee! Got off the train earlier and sequestered away in my hotel room. Now I have 4 nights of total peace where no one can get to me yaay. whee Aww Rydia I feel that so bad, it's the reason I ran away for a few days, love the peeps around me to death but they need a lot of support lately. I get kinda bitter about it, without the waah waah sob story I had a period of being no fixed abode like 8 years ago, and goddamn it no one was around to help me then. Had to scrounge what I could and scam banks for credit to get by, at no point did a single person extent a hand to help. Get myself up by my bootstraps and finally get in a decent position and now it's take, take, take. Like damn. Especially lately, got one or two people who just seem entitled to my money. Once you get that house sold or get a windfall you gotta do a dumb staycation ot something, get some of your own company back. I hope you manage to snag some space for yourself, even if you do wanna help people, can't do that if you're not firing on all cylinders. No problem Eira! I get it, life be crazy lately, it's just nice when people check in and see how everyones doing, but it's not an obligation. I've been progressively doing better and better, hope the same for you! I'm all unpacked now and took a long walk where I didn't see anyone I know, perfect. Gonna to the lookbook tomorrow, gonna go out to eat as a treat tonight. Have a fab day peeps!

I did do a rant didnt i lol. im aight. altho i slept like a couple hours cuz i woke up each hour last nite lol. bro got in at 5am. i got up at 830 and got his laundry done sammiches packed pills packed me and mom fed and up to dentist 10 min late but they saw us. i got half my deep cleaning done and took mom to produce market so she happy. we got big box of chicken. gotta put it away now at 730 pm then drive an hour up and back to check mail cuz lawyer needs a thing signed that shoulda came in mail..
but at least the deep cleaning was easy! im hangin in there and ty for the kind words! glad u getting some time off!

mornin! semi awake. tried to sleep long as i could. i picked up couple stuff packs and dining out pack for sims4 cuz that's my retail therapy lately lol. gonna check in on my guilds then probably goof off on some sims today! happy tuesday!

Yayyy for sleep catch up, glad you managed to!
The Sims is perfect R&R tbf, I am doing similar with Theme Park World lol.
Managed to pull off a 10 mile walk today, had to stop at that point because my feet had swollen in my shoes.
Burned like 900 calories doing that but I'm already in deficit so I get to have CONSEQUENCE FREE SNACKS!
Came back from the walk and got the lookbook done, much easier to get it done when it's physically impossible for people ik to pound on my door whee
The lil break is going well this far and I still have 3 nights left, woop woop!

hi beatwix!! bump back to u! and holy crap aaron 10 miles! i'd die lol my short lil legs walk like 4 hours in a day to hit 4 miles back when i was aiming for 10k steps lol. now im just happy with my 6k a day xp keep it up tho! and ya the sims is coming back tonite too! i got that island hut lookin better and better!
omg! bout my day tho! i just got on pc at like 11:30pm. so i checked in with moms dentist on any cancellations and they're having her come in tomorrow at 11am!!! imma try to get us there at 10am just to have nothing go wrong! i hope they get it all done. dentist said he can do it one visit other day. and she's still on antibiotics so its perfect! dentist said she's been carrying likely blood infections for a couple yrs now trying to navigate this and is suprised she can stand it. she said we eat tons of garlic and she runs local honey up into the sockets daily and its the only thing that stops it hurting. he got big eyed but s**t what else ya gonna do with no insurance? ya do w/e ya can think of..
and we had a stray cat show up on door step with rly roughed up place on back and patch of fur have gone. we thought young girl cat getting beat up by stray tom cats.. next day we gave her bowl of water and food since she stayed overnite. and put her pic on local lost and found. we went out grocery shopping and got a cloth cat carrier. only thing we could find and the owner from 14 miles away from where we lived started msging mom like nuts about the cat asking for more photos. somehow it was her cat!
so the story was this cat got out a couple weeks ago after having survived some neighborhood dogs biting her back. she'd been taken to vet a week or so ago, the area treated and shaved a big patch at that time so the reason she looked like fur was pulled off was that it had only half grown back. she was an older kitty with no teeth named gummy. so soon as i called her gummy this evening she crawled out of shelves in our well house where i left her food and got way more lovey dovey than b4. i got her to go into the carrier by putting food in altho she kinda wanted out after i started zipping but not much of a fight was put up. i guess where old and probably rly tired.
we drove and met the girl halfway at dusk and she was crying and hugging her cat thinking she'd gotten out for the last time and this time she must have passed or something happened to her. all we can figure is someone else found her and dropped her off end of our holler cuz ppl do that around here.. probably cuz they know our neighbor and i do this s**t.... but w/e. main thing is gummy is home with momma and hopefully will quit trying to break out the damn house!
and my bf saved a baby squirrel trapped in his garage today and gave it pnut butter cuz it was acting weak and it perked up and scampered off but not b4 he got to pet it and he proclaims he has ascended to bobrossdom rofl
i needed some feel goods. hopefully more good news after dentist tomorrow! have a nice nite!

Sooooo apparently gaia has been doing an overhall on the database and transfering alot of gaia and old posts and guilds and stuff over to new databases or w/e. can check it in the announcements recently. this stuffs been down a couple days but hoping its stable for the weekend sounds like!
got the next theme rdy to post i'll wait till around after midnite or so est again.
MOM GOT HER TEETH PULLED!!! it only took this dentist an hour and the last worst one he had to rly dig. and she actually felt it and just hung in there. gave her like 13 or 14 numbing shots. this lady got 4 bits of old root canal cleared out and 2 failed root canals drilled out to drain but those the dentist said the original roots are solid and he'll refill those proper soon. so the worst is over!! she's very sore we're having to blend things carefully to eat cuz she cant chew at all for a few days. poor thing. tough a** woman tho..
this means after she gets those last 2 root canals finished. they're waiting a cancellation or it'll be first of july.. then she can do heart cath. said she's been carrying blood infection a couple yrs. scary. we feed her lots of garlic and honey on top of like a handful of rounds of antibiotics these past couple yrs. our health care system is just embarassing. the ppl who work in it most are amazing but the system set up to let ppl access it. the financing the insurance.. shameful. she'll pay half of everything with the new insurance she's paying into but least that's something and the dentist is rly racketting down the price. thank goodness
i might get thru this freakin year yet. i hope ur all doing rly well! the new theme will be slumber party if ya want a head start preparing! have a nice friday! heart

welp moms doing much better. i cant keep up with her enough to keep her outta trouble. she trying to clean stuff and do side projects around house and outside lordie. bro blew thru here like a hurricane. bitched bout a few of his jeans not being clean by time he slept and left but they got cement embedded. we had to take heavy cleaners to them outside in grass and spray with house and scrape with rocks. he'll get em next friggin time lol.. i managed to fry him some home made chicky nuggies i saved frozen from last time to toss in breading and throw in pan. he's just not getting enough sleep and the construction company he's one of the foremans for are bleeding him dry on multiple jobs. scary. he doesnt wanna lose a job with the pay he wants so he's taking alot on. trying to keep him and mom chill today over dumb pants was a challenge lol they have similar hot heads at weird times dramallama
anywho he's fed, heart meds packed. moms feeling aight. its quiet again. im on my pc b4 midnite which is a miracle so thank goodness for that and for a day where we're still getting by. that'll do.
and holy s**t yungbluds new cd is freaking fire.. that boys amazing. hello heaven hello got me in the feels then just saw video for zombie and oh that's a good dirty cry. especially for anyone who's nursed or cared for family or friends like a nurse would. good nurses are just on a different lvl than the rest of us.
i love coming here and just poking around the daily games and checking the catwalk. i hope everyones having a happy saturday. heart

Here's what I TRIED to post 2 days ago lol: I am actually scared for this site wth, I haven't been able to open guilds since yesterday. Techincally still couldn't today but I somehow got here by using the announcement Rydia made about Catwalk, ty lol I'm here! I found out that Guilds is meant to be down for emergency maintenence, I rly hope they iron it out soon. Tried real hard to get on yesterday but it just wouldn't damn load. Haii Beatwix! Glad you dropped in! Yeah Rydia that walk ain't gonna be something I do regularly I just wanted to see if I could pull it off. My feet are devastated as a result but the colaric deficit that put me in (burned like 800 calories) meant I could eat a bunch of junk on my lil holiday. Might do shorter versions, wanted to walk to the closest castle to my house but it turns out that's 16 miles, very deceptive when it's a coastal path for walkers because you can see the other end and assume it's simple xp Glad your mom is getting closer and closeer to getting that sorted, f that dentist he was just thinking sugar = plaque which yeah, but that's why we brush twice a day who cares. Aww that's so touching with the lil kitty, that's so sweet that you got to reunite them like that. Poor thing must have been through the mill. Plus a baby squirrel! Yah got a house of Dr Dolittles xp Mine is baby birds that fall out of the nest into our garden from the trees that overhang, they get a lil cubby in the corner safe from cats while they get a bit of strength and can hop up the tree again, very rarely one will actually teach itself to fly back up. Sometimes I'm in the kitchen and an adult bird will pop into the window, end up recognising the feather pattern and realise it's saying hi or thanks I guess. whee Came home to find my bf had built the gaming chairs and desks we bought earlier in the week so I got a whole new setup and actual support for my back woo! Previously I tended to sprawl across the guest bed we had in the office, but that destroyed my spine and meant I couldn't play keyboard & mouse games. Now I can woop woop! Have a fun one peeps! Hopefully the admins can fix the guilds enough for me to easily get here tomorrow xp

Ok fab I've found a magical window in which I can post.
Idk if it's my timezone and the admins are doing the maintenence during american night time but I just can't seem to get on here the last couple of days.

Your mom is a solider for getting through that! I had a wisdom tooth with a rly hooked root and same there they rly had to dig around, once it's done it's done though. The mouth is the fastest healing part of the body so hopefully she can get back to enjoying her favourite foods real soon!
Yeah sounds like the bro is projecting the work stress rather than actually being pissed about the jeans, men do that a lot. Typically they turn anger into back pain because it's more socially acceptable to complain about an injury than how you are actually feeling. Hopefully he felt a lil guilt after you got him all fed and more chilled.
A lot of workplaces are being like that at the moment, they don't wanna spent money on hiring and training someone new so they foist it on the employees they already have when new jobs to do come up.
Bfs getting that real bad in the office he works in, when someone leaves they just split the workload over the remaining people instead of hiring a replacement.
They did the same where I work but there were only 5 people to begin with, so all it meant for me was I went from 20hrs a week to 32, so I weirdly benefitted from it, I'm one of the lucky ones though.
I'm getting a lot of Yungblud on my FYP lately, I haven't sat down and listened to him but what I have heard I've liked. Idk why he gets hate so much, he talks really intelligently in interviews.
I hope this overhall for Gaia gets finished soon cause I rly felt bad about not being able to get on here, for 2 of the days I could see the thread (for some reason I could access the guild through the catwalk announcement, ty rydia xp ), but any time I tried to reply it just wouldn't work.

lol im glad the announcement gave ya hook into the guild but ya that database merge or xfer be taking a while and it goes down for the count while its happenin. and omg yay on the new gaming set up! that's gotta be 100% better than just supporting ur own back flopped out on bed lol but i been there.
and ya for sure moms a badass and my bro was being a b***h lol he managed to come on home today and pass out and he gets to spend a nite cuz they got rained out neener neener! he's bout upset he didnt get to finish the project for rain.. his own worst enemy lol
that rocks on the saving baby birds! i was afraid one had fallen out of a nest they built dumly right above our driveway on a tree limb. rainstorm knocked an egg out and it had a hair line crack but it was a mm or 2 wide. i thought omg its a baby that hasnt hatched i cant get it to its nest im kinda lost.. but after carrying it to the house mom scolded me over bird flu germs which.. fair lol but i shined a line on the crack and it was empty with just a lil yellow from a yolk in it. so it didnt have a baby bird in it likely only fluid and that had leaked out the lil crack.. relieved cuz that had been a bummer and i dunno if i coulda helped it.
i got mash taters made for mom again she's doing good! got my bro his home made chicky nuggies made. got up at 330p lol i stay up till like 530am lately. gotta run up to the other house to check the mail but im checking guilds first and getting a shower so that when i come back im fuggin done for the nite and can sims or farm archaeology in wow or karaoke or something!
glad ya got on to say hi finally! may the maintenance be done soon!
