Well I HAVE been keeping up on the latest episodes which have little to do with him so my knowledge is a little off. My point being is that he IS more happier and other crap. He believes with hard work he can overcome ANYTHING. Besides it's not as if I don't understand WHY....it's more that I don't CARE.
Sasuke may be a piece of s**t.....but who's the one getting all the ladies hearts? Lee? Nope. Naruto? Only one. Sasuke? There's Sakura and Ino and I'm positive that there's others as well. He's naive to believe that acting like Guy will make him cool, even if it's understand, it's still being naive. Much like Naruto believes that with just raw power he can become Hokage and other crap. I like Orochimaru...he's a great villain, knows how to manipulate people, has no innocense, and a bunch of other stuff. A lot like Gaara in a lot of ways really. I care a lot more for the darker and crazier charecters as I'm more easily able to relate with them, ESPECIALLY with my own past. Gaara represents my evil side, Anko my wild more usual self, and Orochimaru my more manipulative side.

it dosent mater who gets all the ladys,the ladys are for the moast part iddiots who dont know what they truly want. and around episode 50-60 or so Sakura gooes to see Lee and brings him flowers and such.
Gai is cool,he is a fun loveing free sprited fellow who is not even the slightest bit afarid of anything.he has the ultamate levle of confadince. which makes him a great person becouse he is happy then himself hees done the thing moast never do,like himself. thare is nothing un cool about that,and thats the root for all of his personality. by trying to be like someone who has acheaved nervana Lee is cool.whats wrong with actualy enjoying life?
Gaara is just a pore kid who dosent know what to do becouse of his upbringing.which makes me feel sorry for him.which is why I like him a little becouse I have so much pitty for him.
I try to bee more like Gai theas days becouse I relise that I am to serous and do not have eneugh fun in my life theas days.so every now and again I just bust out and and do shupid and crazt things and jump up and scream "Im haven a good time and thares nothing you could ever do about it becouse I am asoume!"
you see when I like a character I like what they stand for,what they meen and represent metaphoricly. and when I think of Gai I think of happyness,and confidence. and when I think of Lee I think of determanition,and will.
theas characters and the trates they represent DESERVE admaration,they DESERVE for you to care.
Lee and Gai are the ultamet examples of never judge a book by its cover.becouse under a Green Fuzzy eyebrowed book lies somthing thuly amaizing underneath. moast people (and apparently you Rei) cannot seem to get past that thay find them weard looking.so I feel sorry for you in that sence...

It's not just that they LOOK weird...it's that they ACT weird....and TALK weird in ways that I can not identify. Besides as I said they have other personality traits that I cannot identify, one of them their overall amounts of happyness that they show so much. That's why I can even identify with the Good Gaara, as he was reformed and was pulled out of his darkness. His darkness is by no means gone, but he's gotten a lot better and is learning about the light.

by look I mean that thats the impression they give you.how they look and act and talk. they impsess upon you straingly so you reject the qualitys that make them great.
besides Lee was the same way.everyone told him he could never be anything other then what he was born as.and he has sufferd all of his life to prove that wrong,and is still suffering inside. like I said Lee is not as happy as you make it seem. he just beleaves in himself. why you could knock him down for that I do not know.I can only assume that like moast of your opinyon you lack the traits and resent thows who posess them as if to say "why do theas weard people have confidence and happyness why dont I? they couldent deserve it more then me! they dont deserve it I do!"
(I dont meen to say this is certanly your fealings tword them,you simply have yet to give me reason to think otherwise,and this is the common fealing of the people who share your opinion,but Im shure Rei is not so insicure and that your fealings are not as such.)
Gaara is the unfourtinate prouduct of stupid people dooing things for themselves. which is why the name Gaara sutes him perfictly.untill he is tought a thing or to by Naruto.

It's not that I feel that they have happyness and I deserve it more...it's more like what's WRONG with them that they WOULD be so happy all the time? It's freakishly unnatural to someone like myself. I mean yes he does have SOME darkness within him...but he easily overlooks it to train harder, and it doesn't go as deep as a lot of the others, like say Anko had. I mean how do you think she feels to be betrayed by the one she cared for most?! To live with the knowledge that she was trained and even cared and loved a traitor to her beloved village?!

I could describe it in mant ways but I think the moast efactave would be this. Lee has made it his entire lifes mission to prove what he beleaves in.
so how deeply do you think it cut him when he diddent have the confidance and determination he now has? for him to make it his life to prove all the people who said he couldent do it wrong? Lee is in allot of pain,but he relises that thare is no point in leting it get to you,and that it will only slow you down.

The problem is, he's too damned happy and acting like a stupid goofball. That's why Naruto OR Lee cannot compare to the awesome that is Gaara twisted It's spelled correctly. This is NOT Ryoko....but Reiyoko your Vice-Guild Leader. Her power is ALMOST as great as mine....except for the fact that I can lower her position and she can't lower mine, and I can ban her, and she can't ban me. She is a combination of Rei, as in Rei Hino-chan, AND Ryoko. She was ALSO the Ryoko in our Guild RP when it was alive, AND she is the most like Ryoko out of any girl I think I have ever really met quite possibly.

See, Ayanami? This is just where you differ from Gihn and myself. While you (from what I can tell) measure awesomeness by power, attitude and lack of emotion, Gihn and I measure awesomeness by hard work, determination, and the results of it.
And no matter what character's you're into, if you can't admit Gai is awesome, then you are dead on the inside.

i dont think he's awesome, but i do think he's got spirit at least. he'd be a close favorite if he weren't just peppy enough to be creepy.
also, anyone who'd where a formfitting green jumpsuit is automatically losing some points...
