Kick a**. I will help. Owwin doesn't use a spear per say, but Lailaps can be used as a spear, so I could use it. I too dislike how overused swords are in popular media.

Even though Dark is stereotypically linked to bad guys, I always felt that Dark isn't evil, just misunderstood.
It varies on the individual using the power, really.

It varies on the individual using the power, really. I want to change that in my story. Instead of looking at the dark as something filled with mystery I want to show the aspects of soothing and protection of the dark.

More non-sword weapons on Gaia would be awesome, period. Swords are fun, but there are a lot of other neat weapons out there, too.

we have shields... not a lot of them..., the Flower shield and the stone armor one being the newest additions...
about three whips, but they're expensive. (counting the one from Alruna)
a club, a mace or two...
effing kunais...
two bows...
anything else?
