Anubis nodded. It took him all of two seconds to translate the Greek he had heard. The Greeks had been in Egypt, so he knew the language. "Θεοί του θανάτου; Μαλακίες!" he said loudly, glaring at the two who entered the room.

Daisy and carnation glanced at the two who had just comein, one claiming to be the greek god of death. "Anubis is right; our father, Thanatos, is with Eris right now. and he's being punished." they huffed and rolled their eyes. "plus Anubis is right here, so explain how you could be a god of death when both egyptian, and greek/roman are acounted for?"

Ari's attention diverted to the window. Yes the window...Curse ADHD.

Anubis glared at the new arrivals... Obviously he wasn't amused.

The other Anubis, the won that was sitting across from Ari blinked. "Something wrong?"

Darkness shook her head
" I was talking to my brother today." Darkness said her voice was velvet put with twine of pain

Ari blinked, "No. I'm fine." She smiled a bit to prove her point.

Anubis finished eating the muffin and looked back at Ari. "I don't think I got your name, would you mind?" He asked politely.

"Artemis. But call me Ari." She smiled.

Anubis smiled at Ari. "That's a beautiful name." Maybe happy, optimistic Anubis was the one that stayed there. Angry one was over on the other side of the cafe, and just medium Anubis was at the Diner... Kind of strange but whatever, he was a god.

Ari smiled, "And so is Anubis." She responded.

Anubis chuckled. "The god of death has a beautiful name, huh?" For some reason, he found that funny.

Ari blushed slightly, but hid it by looking out the window, "I think it has a nice ring to it." She shrugged.

Anubis shrugged. "If you say so." He didn't quite understand why she blushed, or why she looked out the window, but oh well. 'Mortals are so weird.' he thought.

Ari shrugged, "Uh-huh." She looked at her tea, it was cold again, she snapped her fingers again and a streak of electricity jolted from her fingertips, it zapped the teacup and it was steaming again. She took a hesitant sip and nodded, Perfect, I'll remember that for next time. She thought.

Anubis watched her zap her tea with lightning. "That's pretty cool." he said, looking for any sign that the lightning lingered in the drink.
