She buried her face in his chest. "I'm such an awful person! I sold out my closest ally! No wonder he hates me!"

"i don't think you're a horrible person.... you did help him escape after all." he sighed, brushing his fingers through her hair.

"I still sold him out. I still put him in jail to prevent being hanged. I gave up piracy a long time ago...what if he hasn't?"

"i think... given the situation, you did what you could to stay alive.... and then you tried to fix the things you knew were wrong." he smiled, kissing her neck softly. "and if he hasn't given up piracy, just tell him you have and he should go away. if not... i can always turn into my sea serpent form and scare him away." he chuckled.

Chuckling, she nuzzled his neck in reply. "Alright, darling. If that'll make you feel more manly."

She smirked, biting his neck gently. "I don't know, I could definitely get used to sex in the ocean."

"well, as great as it is, the transformation is extremely painful...." he grimaced and winced when she bit his neck. "and my gills are sensitive.... Please don't bite them...?" he pouted, rubbing where she bit.

"it's fine... You didn't know..." he smiled softly and then gave a pained gasp, having to pull her off of him quickly. "I-I took too long.... M-my body's forcing me to change...." he gasped, holding his sides as his ribs started to grow, his legs molding together and his arms turning into fins.

She gasped, scrambling out of the water. "What's happening?!" she cried.

Adrianna glanced around desperately, then an idea appeared in he head. Using her wind control, she started to make the waves larger and larger until they swept her beloved out to sea.

as soon as he was deep enough, the transformation finished and he slowly swam into the ocean, the red ribbing of his spine just barely coming out of the water.
