"Hmm...a different HootHoot, not a regular one. Guess it's late at night, and I guess we got lucky. Ready, Lily, to try to catch it?" Matt said. Lily got in front of Matt, waiting for the attack. "Lily, use tackle on that wild Hoothoot!" Matt said. Lily obeyed and tackled the Hoothoot. (How much hp does Lily have now, since she just evolved? Also, how much does her attack do? Those are the only two things that, after reading the rules, still confuse me.))

(increase normal moves by 2 damage) Attacks Tackle, 11 dmg Growl, 11 dmg Items Pokeballs: 2 (4/5) Greatballs: 1 (2/12) Ultraballs: 0 (14/25) Masterballs: 0 (14/50) Potions: 2 (5/5) 2/12 Lily was surprised by the incoming attack. This was her first battle ever and she went into a state of panic. She quickly responded to Hoothoot's growl with a growl of her own. (Shouldn't the attack from Lily do 13 damage? 11 from the regular attack and 2 from her ability, Adaptability? Both tackle and growl are normal attacks . I'm just curious since I'm new at this.)

Matt said and ran over to Lily to put his hand on Lily's head for a moment. Lily let out a little, small sound and slowed down in her movements. She calmed down and returned to a more relaxed state. "Now, Lily, use tackle and lets capture that Hoothoot!" Matt said with enthusiasm. Lily's eyes glowed with happiness, seeing that the battle was almost done. She obeyed Matt and tackled Hoothoot. After the tackle, Matt threw a pokeball at Hoothoot and crossed his fingers, hoping the pokeball would succeed with catching the wild Hoothoot.

Teh ball wiggled for a moment before the small circular light dimmed back to grey.
Congradulations! You caught a Hoothoot!
It always stands on one foot. Even when attacked, it does not brace itself using both feet.

Hoot sent out a growl as it came out, realizing that the battle was over and he was now Matt's pokemon. "Welcome to our team." Matt said and Hoot flew around Matt's head. "Hoot, this is Lily. Lily, this is Hoot." Lily jumped up and waved her paw aimlessly, trying to touch the Hoothoot flying in the sky. Hoot kept on flying near Matt's head. (Just curious, about what time is considered daytime in this guild? I'm just curious because, when Eevee evolves, I want Eevee to, hopefully, evolve into an Espeon.)
