Aquaria felt the man grab her wrist and she cried out in pain and surprise. What was she supposed to do now. She looked back and saw Sanvi and Garin, both incapacitated. She was their last hope, and she had failed. A tear fell down her cheek hopelessly. She tried more magic, but her attempt was half-hearted.  

[Cecily D Aria]

The man pulled Aquaria against his front and held a knife to her throat. "Now we can talk civilly, right?" he asked her.  

[marixe alcyone]

"Just don't hurt them," she pleaded.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"You care a lot about that little monster, don't you?" the man asked her, nodding to Garin. "Well, you're just setting yourself up for heartbreak. I'll make you a deal. Leave now, without anymore fighting, and I won't kill you. Here, as a show of good faith, I'll let you take that demon you're fond of."

"Fine," Aquaria said. She looked to Sanvi, who had began to stir. "S-Sanvi, come here, please," she said weakly.
Sanvi looked at Aquaria, and decided that obedience was her best option. She stood, weakly, and walked to Aquaria's side.  

[Cecily D Aria]

The man slowly let go of Aquaria, but he kept his blade leveled at her throat.
Garin looked after Aquaria and Sanvi, looking terrified.
"Good bye, now," the man said, looking to Garin.

((Win! I just got off school tomorrow!!))

"Where are you taking us?" Aquaria asked quietly. She looked over to Sanvi, who kept her eyes down in shame and sadness. Aquaria saw a tear fall down Sanvi's cheek and lost all hope.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"No where, I'm telling you to leave," the man replied. "You're not my objective. You can go and be safe."

"What will you do to Garin if I obey you?" she asked. Sanvi looked at Aquaria, her eyes filled with tears.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Well, that depends on how quickly he gives me what I want," the man replied.
Garin slowly sat up, trying not to attract attention.  

[marixe alcyone]

"What do you want with him?" Aquaria demanded.
Sanvi looked at her, pleading her silently to run while they still could.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Oh, I just want to tie up some loose ends," the man replied.
Garin got into a crouch while they were talking. He suddenly charged at the man while he was distracted. He pushed him away from Aquaria and SAnvi. Then he grabbed the two girls and ran away as fast as he could. It was easy to tell he was panicking.

Aquaria screamed in pain as the tip of the man's knife left a thin scratch across her throat. Sanvi gasped in surprise. "Garin! What was that stone?" Aquaria asked as he ran.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"That man hurt me!" Garin cried as he ran. He didn't even know where he was going, he just knew he needed to keep going. He ran into the forest that surrounded the village.

Aquaria quieted and tried to put pressure on her throat. The wound wasn't deep or life-threatening, but it sure hurt. ((exits to serenity forest))
