"I know how that goes," I said quietly. I looked out in to the forest, thinking how everything would be destroyed if those humans ever came here. I sighed.

"Yea. Well, if you'll excuse me, I need to look through some things." He said, bowing to the alpha before entering his home. He looked at a dull color crystal, and as it glowed he saw the past. He saw every battle fought, lives lost, and what happen to several packs before this one. He sighed as this forests history unfolded before his eyes.

I stretched, my rump and tail rising to the sky as my tongue curled for a yawn. I stood up and rolled my shoulders, realizing I had been sitting for a little too long. I decided to head out and explore this forest a little more. The wolves seemed to be okay with me, so hopefully, if I encountered any others, they would be also. But I would try to avoid any others.
I bounded off to the west, taking a deep breath.

Kaishin saw Kirias approaching and greeted the Dragoness. "Good morning, Kirias. Did you sleep well?"
The dragon blushed at Kai's question and looked down at the ground. "I-I guess so... you?"
"Not too bad, considering everything that happened" he replied, oblivious to Kirias' strange reaction. He then caught Larka's scent on a small breeze that ran through the tunnel. The incident at the swamp had been tugging at the back of his mind. "Sorry guys, but can you look after this pup for a while?" he said to Bakher and Kirias, "I have to investigate this swamp incident".
Kirias nodded, "I'll take care of her".
Kaishin nodded and rounded the corner and saw the huntress hiding there. "Well good morning Larka... How are you today?"

-viper turned watching priest leave, she started to enter the wolf village looking for someone who could help her with the swamp incident- "excuse me?"

(sorry Dark, didn't realize I was forcing you to post there... my bad. I'll try to avoid that in the future)
He blinked as he processed what the Alpha had told him, then fixed on a single subject: Raiden. Who was he, and why was his name spoken fearfully?
He opened his beak to ask just as Kirias showed up, and his beak clacked loudly as he reconsidered, then decided to wait until later to ask that particular question.
He caught Kirias' shy (and evasive) answer to the Alpha's question, and a small, knowing smile tugged at the edges of his beak as he looked at her. He considered saying something snarky about cuddly toys, but settled for flicking his tail jauntily.
Kaishins request to look over the little pup who was trailing after the Alpha caught him unawares, and he looked down on the little creature with a bemused eye, wondering just how he and Kirias, both quite a bit larger than any normal wolf, were supposed to take care of a little one.
"Uhhh....sssssure Kaisssshin, I can look affffterrrr the little one I sssssupposse..."
it can't be much different from taking care of Gryphlets back home I suppose...
He thought as he looked the ball of mobile fluff over, then decided on what he would do; he'd try the "Big, Fluffy, Playful bigger uncle" Card, and see what happened.
He flattened his crest, and shifted position so that- he hoped- he appeared less threatening to the little one, then looked down at the little Pup.
"hello there little one! I don't sssssupposssse you could tell me your name?"

I trotted through the forest, catching my breath after my long sprint. I took the time to explore now, looking around every rock and tree. I was beginning to get a better grip of my sorroundings, which I may need eventually.
As my legs began to wear down I turned to head back to the cave for a nap. My belly had gone down slightly, making it easier and more comfortable for me to move.

Kirias smiled at the pup. "I think we might be a bit big Bakher... wait! I have an idea". Focusing her magical energies, her body began to glow and shrink. After a moment a human child was standing where Kirias once was. She appeared to look about six years old and her long sandy-blond hair touched the ground. Given the fact that Kirias didn't wear clothes, neither did the child, but her hair covered up anything important.
"How is this?" she asked Sunshine. "Not so scary now huh?" She looked up at Bakher. "And the big birdy is a total wuss, so don't worry~".
