Dmitri Kovac a.k.a. Amp "Perhaps, but it is easier to find a mutant than a human, even with the late Professor Xavier's machine. It really wasn't made to find humans," Dmitri said. "And Miss Frost isn't at the level Professor Xavier was from what I hear... however, trick enough MRD agents you eventually would find the answer."
He glanced over at Felicia and said, "Cassie not only can make people fall in love with her but she can make them do anything she wants with eyecontact... even through glasses. That would include divulging information. If she asked the right questions of the right people it is only a matter of time before she would find them. And of course she could force them to forget we were even there as well."
"There is a reason her power is so scary," Dmitri said with a smirk, "and worse considering that I can make it so she doesn't need direct eye contact. Personally, I think her power is sort of a telepathic type power but limited and stronger at the same time. She doesn't have control of it in many ways, obviously. Hence, accidents like me, but she has mastered in many ways her 'secondary' power. Due to the fact she has control of that..."
He shrugged, "Actually, considering her natural selfishness and pettiness you have to admit it is sort of admirable she doesn't abuse that power. It's especially odd that she teamed up with the X-men. Her power is better suited for the Brotherhood and so is her natural personality, in my opinion. I guess that is more of the reason why I stalked her here. Yes I wanted to be around her but I wanted to figure out what keeps her here. It doesn't make sense to me. Who knows... maybe it is her crush on Mr. Smart-Tall-Dark-and Handsome or whatever."
"Maybe if you could convince Myth or Miss Frost or Mr. Summers to let Cassie, me, and you investigate we could at least get a lead," Dmitri ended.

Perhaps I'll reach out to Miss Frost, I feel as though I got him in enough trouble already." she shrugged and started looking for Miss Frost. She paused a moment not sure where to start. "Um... Could you point me in the right direction?" She said with a blush since she was unable pick up Miss Frost's scent.

Alazne Carter Fenrir The Bloodhound of the MRD [ Age: 21 ] [ Location: MRD Nevada Base ] [ Terrestrial Metamorph ]Somewhere in Nevada, deep underground was bunker. A very, very large bunker. Within this bunker was the MRD. All their plans, productions, and some of their more dangerous assets. The man chained up in one room is a prime example. Codenamed Fenrir, the man is a mutant, and he is one of the MRD's "Ace Up The Sleeve." He shook his head and remembered where he was as he awoke. The circular room had solid concrete walls, each at least a few feet thick, reinforced with rebar. The door in front of him was made of some sort of steel, deadlocked with passwords and guards standing on the other side. His arms were raised above his head and behind his back, chained up to two concrete posts. He had no shirt, and bore several gashes on his back, from a whip. His black jeans were tattered, but decent. He had no shoes. He knelt slightly on the ground. He was alone, he noted. This didn't surprise him. He was always alone. The guards feared him when they weren't striking him with a whip. Not that it mattered. Fenrir hated the stink of those humans anyway. It was only a matter of time before the guard entered with some meat. Lunch for Fenrir. That would be the high point of his day. Just like every other day. [ Inventory ]

Dmitri Kovac a.k.a. Amp "What do you mean you got Myth in enough trouble as is? He was the one who interfered with getting Cassie back which had been planned out-behind his back-but still. It's more my fault for not thinking to disable the metal manipulator's power. I miscalculated his strength," Dmitri answered. "Don't take blame for things that aren't yours to take blame for."
"And Miss Frost... she'll probably just send us to Myth in the end to discuss letting us do this sort of thing," Dmitri sighed. "I mean it is more of an X-men mission. She's headmisstress, right? Well he's the leader of the X-men so that would be more up his alley. And then there is the whole thing of convincing Cassie to do it in the first place. I suppose if one of her superiors gave her the mission she would but..."
He shrugged. "Anyways... I could be wrong. I've been wrong before. I'm wrong tons of times."

ProphecyDestroyer Calamity looked at Shadow Walker who wouldn't meet his eyes. He leaned forward, trying to look up under her hair to see her eyes. "Are you ok?" he asked slightly. PixelMuse Catherine Smithe my name is Shadow Walker Shadow Walker appreciated his concern but she didn't want him to look at her. She sank into her shadow away from Calamity. If she wanted to her voice could come from all points of darkness of the room, she decided it was unnecessary. Her glowing green eyes could be seen from under the couch her voice came from there. "I'm fine... I was just..." as much she wanted to tell someone she needed to keep it to herself. "I was just miffed with Warp going on about Cassie....ever since we first met he said I reminded him of her. Now after meeting her it just disgusts me." Catherine Smithe my name is Shadow Walker Catherine very much wished she could tell Calamity the truth. But she could not risk her secret with him nor with anyone on the Brotherhood. If the best way to keep a secret is not to tell anyone, then why not forget the secret entirely. If it's forgotten how would she tell anyone? At this rate keeping it would only naw at her.
The room was silent for a moment. She wondered if the reason she was upset was a reason he would accept. Regardless, she responded. "Go on I'll be fine. I just need to talk to Warp."

AzureEyes_DarkMagician Sorcerer shrugged. "The so-called "laws of nature" were rewritten when the first homo-superior awakened." he said. He read the words on the paper as he picked it up. Nothing really clicked in his mind. He shook his head and said the words aloud. "Mihi opus est me in virtute ex Alexavier. Quid est mihi opus, et dissipabit. Maius bonum in nomine quaero." Nothing happened. His eyes remained their natural color, his voice remained as usual, and the air around him was unchanged. He shook his head. "Nothing. I'm just not feeling the energy from it. Like I don't believe it's an actual spell.." he said his eyes growing wide. "That's it! Let me try again." He stood this time, and focused on the words. He raised both his arms. The paper was caught on a gust of wind that didn't exist and floated in front of Sorcerer's face. The words seemed to bend and twist on the page. Sorcerer could somewhat understand the words, though they were in a language he didn't know. "Mihi opus est me in virtute ex Alexavier." he said, his eyes glowing with an intense violet. Power from Alexavier... his mind translated. "Quid est mihi opus, et dissipabit." he said, and an aura of violet appeared, swirling around him. What I need... he thought subconsciously. "Maius bonum in nomine quaero!" he said with a resounding boom-like sound that would not be heard outside the immediate room. The violet light flashed away in a blink. His eyes returned to their natural color. Greater good. he thought finally. The paper floated back down to the table. He fell back into his seat. He felt invigorated. Empowered even. Not just the spell had worked, but the fact that he had come closer to figuring out the root of his power. "Belief plays a key role in the spell. I have to believe that it's real."
Meanwhile, somewhere else, a man named Alexavier would suddenly feel very weak. And possibly remain weak for a day or so.
Alexander William Diaz a.k.a. Warp "Oh I'm not sure if the laws of nature were rewritten when the first homo-superior awakened," Warp said leaning back as the vodka bottle was now full again. He sounded completely sober now. "It's simple evolution, yes? I mean we all just have an active X-gene."
"Now... that we figured out the secret of how your power works, that you merely have to believe in the spell," Warp said with a smile, "You actually have a key advantage. As you can see, that spell I merely wrote, half drunk at the time and you were able to use when you actually believed it to work. In theory, you could actually write your own spells. Almost anything should be possible."
He stood and picked up the vodka bottle and said, "I suppose your power does have similarities like mine. If I didn't have confidence I wouldn't be able to pull things off either. As long as I am within my force-field I am god." He nodded to the bottle, "For example, that was the alcohol in my body a few moments ago. I'm sober now." With a smile he entered the kitchen and dumped the bottle's contents down the drain.

Catherine Smithe my name is Shadow Walker Catherine was glad Calamity didn't continue to pursue answers. Which to her meant the answer she gave was answer enough for him for now. She needed to wash her face before asking Warp about Memo. She took a deep breath then emerged from under the couch and got on her feet. She opened the door and headed to the bathroom washing her face.
She pat her face dried and returned to the the living room. It seemed as though Warp was helping Sorcerer with his power.

Location: The library Felicia Carter ??? Felicia listened to Dmitri and thought what he said seem to make sense that this sounded more like an X-Men mission and odds are Frost would tell her to go to him anyway. She still felt a little hesitant about going to him still. It wasn't long before the last mission that he had yelled at her for trying to rescue Cassie with Dmitri in the Blackbird. She literally had to 'nose' her way into the last mission they were on. If it hadn't been for her natural instinct and sense of smell he would have insisted she would stay behind with his training simulation. Though in retrospect Dmitri was right, she wasn't part of the plan that went behind his back to get Cassie out of there, she was as in the dark as he was.
"I suppose you're right about blaming myself. It's just... not long before the last mission... he shouted at me and I'm afraid that, that will happen again upsetting him at the whole notion of even suggesting such a mission. He didn't seem to keen on it when I first suggested it... only Cassie seem to be supportive about looking into it at a later time. I almost ended up staying here to train some more and literally had to use my nose to get him to let me on board.
I don't know maybe it's just all in my head making it out worse than it actually is."

Dmitri Kovac a.k.a. Amp "I'd say propose a mission where we only investigated where your parents were first. It isn't like Cassie, me, and you could likely get in and out of an MRD base safely," Dmitri said. "But if you could convince Myth that you were okay with finding out where they were for the moment without taking action then it could be something that Cassie and I could pull off. You could be back-up. Three is a lucky number in like almost every culture after all."
"Fact finding mission sounds way better and safer than 'let's go rescue my parent's who were taken by the MRD' mission, right?" Dmitri said with a kind smile. "Of course, we'll do the second as soon as we can, and I'm totally behind you for that, if my Mom was caught or something because of me, I would want to rescue her too... However, we got to know where they are first anyways? Might as well take it one step at a time."

Felicia Carter ??? Felicia, couldn't help herself she was wagging her tail building momentum as Dmitri made his suggestion. She was so happy to hear that another of her team members was willing to support her in finding and saving her parents. She couldn't hold it in anymore she gave Dmitri a hug, "Thank you Dmitri... you have no idea how much this means to me." she let go shortly after. "I hope you didn't mind... Now to go and find myth and ask about a certain fact finding mission." she seemed a bit more chipper than she was a moment ago. She managed to catch his scent not far from where they are currently. "I'll catch you later." she followed Myth's scent.

Dmitri Kovac a.k.a. Amp Dmitri was surprised by Felicia's hug but smiled some as she let go, though he felt a little bit unfaithful to Cassie for even letting the girl hug him in the first place. As she left he frowned a bit and sunk into his chair and wondered if Felicia realized that there was another problem with his proposed plan besides getting approval from Myth: Dmitri had proposed to go with Felicia and Cassie on the mission. Stratigically it made the most sense because he could give Cassie or Felicia a boost if needed and he was trained in protection and he could nullify the powers of any potentially dangerous enemy mutant if they ran into one but would Cassie be okay with it?

Dean Nixon a.k.a. Myth Dean was on his way to his room. Muscles ached. Sore from the night in Genosha. Sure he had sustained bigger injuries during his life but that didn't make feel this any better. An arrow through the heart was one of the worse injuries he had. Upon entering his room he took a look around. This would be the first time having a place to call home since waking up from his long slumber. Sure, he knew what was in the room and how his alter ego decorated it but still....this was a first impression. But he was a little more time efficient than Dean. He entered the bathroom and let the bath fill up before walking back into the main room. The bed was big but simple. Something he had to slowly change in order to avoid suspicion. Decorated on the wall were a few swords. Katana, broadsword, Claymore. Most likely put up there because he didn't know what else to put up there. On the opposite side of the bed stood a rack with various weights. It seemed his alter ego really did work out a lot. Not something he couldn't appreciate. It was nice having a peak performance body. The wardrobe with clothes was simple. As were the clothes inside of it. It was so....Dean. It was hard to call this a very homey room. It felt detached. As if this was simply something where he slept. There really were very little personal belongings. Besides the couch, plasma TV, console and games. It seems those were merely for entertainment. There was a stand with a wide variety of books. But all of them were about mythology or fiction stories based on it. Not something he would read for entertainment. Simply interest. It was slightly depressing to see but it made sense when you thought about it. As easy going as Dean was on the outside. He was a man of duty. The leader of the X-men who did not have or rather, made a lot of time for anything else. It was funny in a sense. Even his alter ego wore a mask. The man took of his shirt and tossed it in the bin. The bathroom was a bit steamy but that was okay. He wiped his hand over the mirror and took a look at himself. His Reflection showed the same man as it did before. But the inside had completely. His fingers traced a few scared on his chest. Mainly the one around his heart. Omega or not, that actually had killed him. Not instantly. It gave him enough time to make sure he'd come back from the dead. On his side he had a small scar but it was just as deadly. It was during the first world war. It was a new experience. It made him lose focus and he paid the price for it. Many of his scars had stories. Real stories instead of the fake ones he made up while creating 'Dean'. There was a burn mark on his stomach. Back from the days that the witch hunts were still going strong. Another new experience for him. All of his scars were located on his front. Because he always faced his enemies. He didn't retreat. Dean took off the rest of his clothes, turned off the faucet and got into the bath. He lowered himself with a slow but satisfactory sigh. When he was fully submerged, he lowered the lights intensity. It was a good thing the control for the lights was also next to the bathtub.

Maxwell FlamelSorceror [ 16 ][ Alpha / Beta ][ Magic ][ Genoshan ][ Genosha : Warp's Apartment ][ Hail To The King ][ > > † < < ] Sorcerer had spent the rest of the day looking for a cheap hotel, taking his duffle bag with him. Upon finding one near the docks, he rented a room for the night, spending $50. He then left the hotel and made his way around, looking for libraries and book stands. He found several different books about spells, but nothing really caught his eye. He did manage to find some interesting graphic novels, presumably Japanese in origin, that had some interesting views on the natural energies. He read a little bit and noted to himself to look up the rest of the series later. Other than that, nothing interesting happened over the evening. He checked into the hotel and fell asleep on the bed fairly quickly.
He woke up the next morning to the sound of the phone going off. The phone Warp had given him in order to keep in contact. He groaned as he got out of bed and pulled on his clothes. He grabbed all of his stuff, tidied his appearance with a real quick magic, and went on his way. It would be a few minutes until he reached Warp's apartment. He noted that he should look into easy teleportation spells as well.
