Ah, I see...Red has a way of slipping in abilities to profiles that were never on the skill list (that we occasionally overlook when reviewing)...usually I either let them slide if they aren't a big deal, or have them removed when we catch them. Also, just because it was in DDS doesn't mean it's on our Skill List. We use the Persona 4 Skill List here...with occasional additions from the other Personas.
Generally, though, it's similar to Instant Recovery, albeit with a different application...hence why I haven't gone and removed them all since I recently discovered their existence. As long as they're both High Level skills, I don't see much difference...except one which Necro pointed out the other day. I'm still debating things a little based on that...but eh.
I'll think about it, but I might just leave it.

I'm cool with changing it if necessary (it's on Ria, I think), and it's not really a big deal to me either way. rofl *Doesn't stress out about this kind of thing*

I am both ready and willing to change it if it isn't what you like.

It's not really a big deal, in the grand scheme. Just deciding if Null Ailment is worth adding to the Skill List or not. -shrug-
I've learned not to get too worked up over the little things. The worst I get anymore is snarky. XD

In fairness, many SMT games have characters/demons who are, in fact, specifically resistant to (or weak to) some or all of the ailments within the game. 'S actually pretty standard, so stuff like ailment-blocking techniques are normal as well. 'Course, an immediate passive cure still tends to be better than an outright block... XD
*Making biscotti right now* ^^

In some ways, yeah. But just as Instant Recovery is something of a loophole against most ailments, there are also loopholes in Instant Recovery. Null Ailment isn't quite so sharp about that...at least, not unless we add an 'Ailment Break' skill to go with it.

which by that point, would first make sense, and second be very interesting. Ailment breaking should be a step below ailment protection, which goes as they all should be medium, and the all-break should be high.

Yay, new skill discussion!
*Remembers the last time the Guild considered adding a bunch of stuff* sweatdrop I still don't understand the reactions there. *Coughs* Anyway. I can write up a bunch of the skills if you tell me which ones you want, or we can not do anything. 'S all good either way. ^^

I'm not saying we need to get into all these big, specific ailment breaking skills...I'm just saying that if people are going to invent Null Ailment and start adding it to normal characters' profiles, it only stands to reason there's something capable of countering it.
I don't really intend to get much deeper into it than that.

Nn, yeah. ^^
Well, I'll try to think of some fun scenes while I'm gone. XD All I really need to get back is to be able to sit up straight, move my arms, and think, so it shouldn't take -too- long...
