The Rooftop

WIlliam sighed and finaly decided to let go and try to fall asleep. After a moment or so he finaly went to sleep. Norah had been asleep and fell asleep much quicker than he and was allready dreaming. The ocational kick of a paw said as much.

Kozue shifted a bit, but remainded seated. She glanced over at William and Norah, sighing as she turned back around. "Lucky..." She thought. She wished she could falla sleep that easily.

after a few moments William let out a small groan falowed by others. They stoped and started again and again until Norah tried of him waking her up gave a oud bark in his ear.

Kozue jumped at the bark. She looked over at Norah and picked her up off Williams back. She nudged William's shoulder. She wasn't sure if he was just having a nightmare or not, but the groans were annoying. She wondered if he always slept that way.

Slowly as if he was druged he opened his eyes and looked at them. "dose she need to use a bush or some thing?" He asked looking at Norah who looked like she would bite him sooner or later.

"You were making noises and it woke her up. Were you having a nightmare or something?' Kozue put Norah down and watched her trot back over to William. She wondered if the dog would keep barking at him or not.

Norah stood upa dn walked over to Kozue and sat in her lap to fall asleep.

WIlliam looked at her for ment and thought aobut it. Slowly by his face he remberd he looked down. "No its nothing." He said before he layed down on his side looking away from her.

Kozue poked his side.

"Are you sure? You look troubled to me." Kozue starting petting Norah, hoping she wouldn't start barking again. For some reason, it seemed alot louded on the rooftop.

William said nothing and sighed. Slowly he curled up and held his sides. He just wanted to block out every thing and forget it. Norah licked Kozues hand and rolled on to he rback and looked up at her.

Kozue chuckled to herself as she starting playing with Nora.

"Sometimes...you're like alittle kid." Kozue started rubbing Norah's stomach, trying to prevent her from bitting at her. Kozue was always alittle nervous about dogs, but she hoped that she could get over this one.

Norah streatched out as far as she could. She lick Kozue's hands ocationly and press ehr paws playfully into her hands.

After ten or so minuts it became aparent William was sleeping but it quickly ended. Suddenly he started kicking and shouting mooving away from where he once layed.

Kozue picked up Norah and moved over to William as he started another fit. She starting nudging William again, waiting for him to wake up. Norah started to fidgit in her arms while she tried to nudge William awake.

He awoke and looked up and her and then closed his eyes again. "Thanks... you allways seam to be there...." He was breathing like he had just ran a mile as fast as he could.

Kozue raised an eyebrow but son decided to just forget it.

"Do you need to go to a nurse or something? You're kinda starting to scare me..." Kozue didn't think it was normal for a person to sleep like that or react like that to a dream. But if he was used to it, she guessed it couldn't be helped.

"Unless the nurce is a shrink... no." He hated when he remberd the years before he ran away. it made soem horor films look like a Dissny film. he letout a small sigh and looked back at her. She must think Im insain..
