Luo stood up and decided to try and master some of the genjutsu first.

Name: Raimei Wana Fuu (Thunder Trap Seal)
Description: A basic genjutsu in the sense that what it does is very simple, however it is an illusion that is set up for the target, but also an illusion that the user himself self notices. Flashing a series of signs the user "primes" an area or object with a conditional genjutsu. Whenever someone crosses the said area or tampers with said object loud thunder is sounded and can be heard well from everywhere. While partially unsettling for most people who were just walking around or touching something the genjutsu does nothing more then alert the setter of this genjutsu that someone set off one of his signals.

Luo primed where he was standing with hand seals and stated, "Raimei Wana Fuu no jutsu!" Luo's clone walked through, but nothing happened. Luo sighed.

Luo primed where he was standing with hand seals again and stated, "Raimei Wana Fuu no jutsu!" The clone walked through once more, and a tiny tiny rumble was heard, but barely audible. (2/5)

Luo primed where he was standing with hand seals and shouted, "Raimei Wana Fuu no jutsu!" As the clone walked by, the area around Luo rumbled a bit, but not more than speaking voice loudness. (4/5)

Luo primed where he was standing with hand seals and stated, "Raimei Wana Fuu no jutsu!" Luo's clone walked through and thunder was clearly heard, but it wasn't loud enough. (4/5)

Luo primed where he was standing with hand seals and stated, "Raimei Wana Fuu no jutsu!" As Luo's clone walked through and triggered it, a boisterous and thunderous boom was made throughout the room. "There we go." Luo said. (5/5)

Name: Hibanahouden no Jutsu (Discharge Technique)
Description: The target of this technique feels a tingle all over their body; their hair even seems to stand on end. Whenever they try to touch an object they receive a painful jolt of what seems to be high-end static electricity. The pain is not so severe that they cannot function but it is distracting to say the least. The key to realizing that this effect is an illusion comes in knowing the nature of static electricity. Triggered by touching the opponent.

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Hibanahouden no Jutsu!" He then instructed his clone to touch him and then touch the ground to see if it worked. His clone shook his head. "Nothing." Luo sighed.


Trying again, Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Hibanahouden no Jutsu!" The clone touched him and touched the ground. "I felt a little magnetism, but nothing." Luo nodded. "Hmm, think polarity" Luo said. (2/5)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Hibanahouden no Jutsu!" The clone touched him, and then the ground and got a barely measurable shock. "Well, the shock is there." (3/5)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Hibanahouden no Jutsu!" The clone touched him and the ground. The shock was a little more. He touched the ground again, but no shock. "You need to make it so it does it everytime." Luo nodded. (4/5)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Hibanahouden no Jutsu!" The clone touched him and the ground. "Ow!" He did it again and again, and continued to get shocked. "Ow! Okay, dispell it!" Luo dispelled it laughing. (5/5)

Luo looked at the other boy and nodded. "Yep, the written exam is in that other room over there." Luo pointed out a set of doors.

Luo then tried the kumo bunshin.
Name: Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu (Cloud Clone Technique)
Description: The user creates a genjutsu-based replication of himself, although assuming the speed of a user (if not faster sometimes) this clone is unable to attack an opponent as it is not a physical replication. In return however instead of the bunshin dissipating when hit like a standard bunshin the attack goes through the clone, at the most causing it to separate and then recombine. Can eventually cause overexertion of the target.

Luo performed the hand signs and shouted, "Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu!" After a moment, nothing happened. Luo sighed. (1/5)

Luo performed the hand signs and shouted, "Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu!" A clone faded in and out. Then went away. (2/5)

Luo performed the hand signs and shouted, "Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu!" A clone appeared. Luo's clone touched it and shook his head. "It's tangible." Luo dispelled it. (3/5)

Luo performed the hand signs and shouted, "Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu!" Another clone appeared, but it looked faded. "Nope, still tangible. Just looks half here." (4/5)

Luo performed the hand signs and shouted, "Kumo Bunshin no Jutsu!" A perfect clone of Luo appeared, and his water clone punched it, but it went through. "There we go." Luo said dispelling it.(5/5)

"That's enough genjutsu. Time for the ninjutsu. First off, I need to do the lightning training in one night. It'll be rough." Luo sighed. It was something that usually took months.
Teikou no Kuntou (Electricity Resistance Training)
Description: While not necessarily a technique that must be taken, most Cloud-nin are taught this at the Academy. As most know electricity in general is a deadly and somewhat scarce element, generally one could only collect the necessary electricity necessary to perform techniques if they were fighting in the middle of a thunderstorm, or near an electrical source. However current training standards in the academy show how a cloud-nin tends to make electricity through the use of chakra, turning most Cloud-nin in to human capacitors, technically. The process is generally quite painful and requires about 5 months of mental and physical conditioning to resist the charges you activate onto your body. As it is written, this technique is optional. A person who doesn't take this skill will generally feel pain when even performing their own electricity based techniques, also one who tends to take this ability tends to notice that minor shocks generally do not hurt them as badly.

Luo tried converting his chakra according to the scroll, but nothing happened. (1/5)

After an hour of working with his chakra, Luo tried again. He saw what he thought was a hint of yellow in his chakra. (2/5)

He continued charging his chakra. This time, he saw one spark. Though when it arched, it hurt. He needed to learn to control that. (3/5)

After another hour, Luo charged again. He would see a spark every so often about ten minutes now, but they still hurt. He had small burn marks from the shocks all over his body.(4/5)

After a half hour, Luo could cause many sparks to form on command in a ball around his hand. He could even do it around his body. "Cool. This will help a lot." He had mastered it quickly. (5/5)

Luo sighed. "I might as well learn the lightning clone while I'm at it."
Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Clone Technique)
Description: This technique makes a simple clone of the shinobi however unlike the standard bunshin, which is a genjutsu, this bunshin takes an actual physical form through the use of electrically charged chakra. One can easily touch and hold this clone like it was in fact an actual person, however when it is attacked it quickly disperses into smoky, hot air. It is also able to attack using taijutsu, however it's ability to attack is around 1/10 in perspective to the user, in return for this weakness it's attacks deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body.

Luo performed the hand seals and stated, "Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu!" A large puff of smoke appeared, but nothing more. Luo sighed. (1/5)

Luo performed the hand seals and stated, "Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu!" He concentrated on the lightning element, but a messed up clone appeared. He sighed and dispelled it. (2/5)

Luo performed the hand seals and stated, "Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu!" A clone appeared. "Hit me." Luo said. It hit, but nothing happened. He sighed and dispelled it. It needed more of the lightning element. (3/5)

Luo performed the hand seals and stated, "Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu!" Another clone appeared, and Luo instructed it to do the same thing. It hit him, but still nothing. He sighed and dispelled that one as well. (4/5)

Luo performed the hand seals and stated, "Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu!" He told it to hit him, and it did, sending a short shock. "Again." It hit him again, and shocked Luo once more. Luo smiled and dispelled it. "Cool." (5/5)

Luo tried a different technique this time, getting into the real ninjutsu.
Yurayura Ranpu no Jutsu (Flickering Light Technique)
Description: Charging electrical chakra throughout the Cloud-Nin's entire body the shinobi makes his skin light up giving it a bright glow that can allow him to see it a night. With an additional five control one can control this bright glow to make the light flicker, using it as a code or a signal. An additional five power allows the user to create a flicker so bright it can disable anyone who looks directly at him for a post.

Luo tried charging, but nothing happened. (1/5)

Luo tried again. This time he started to charge electricity, but he couldn't control it well enough to make light. (2/5)

Luo concentrated on the electric nature of the chakra and tried converting it slowly, and it began to work. (3/5)

Luo continued charging and converting as a dim light began to start to flicker on. (4/5)

Finally, Luo charged and converted the chakra simultaneously perfectly, and his body glew brightly. "Wow." His clone said. (5/5)

"Time to try the burst technique." Luo said to himself.
Heki no Jutsu (Burst Technique)
Description: An overall simple move that is generally taught to genin to assist in generating and controlling chakra for the sake of ninjutsu, the shinobi vents electric chakra from his entire body, causing anyone that touches or attacks him to receive minor electrical shocks and burns. The shinobi cannot move while in this state

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" He attempted to vent electric chakra, but nothing happened. (1/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" This time, the process slowly began, and then stopped again. (2/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" The process started again a little faster, however just as quickly just stopped. Luo sighed. He needed to find a balance. (3/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" The process started a bit slower now, but lasted longer until stopping again. Luo sighed. (4/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" The venting started rather quickly this time, and lasted consistently. "Okay touch me and see if I shock you," Luo told his clone. As it touched him it shook its head. "Nope, no shock." (5/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" The clone touched him again. "A slight magnetism, but that's it." (6/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" The clone touched him again. "Stronger magnetism. I think you may be having that polarity problem again." Luo nodded and took note. (7/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" His clone touched him. "I got a tiny shock." Luo nodded. (8/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" As the clone touched him, he got zapped a bit. "That was a little better. Stronger now." (9/10)

Luo formed the necessary seals and stated, "Heki no Jutsu!" As Luo's clone went to touch him, Luo saw electricity arch to the clones finger. "Ow!" Luo nodded. That was it. (10/10)

Luo was starting to get into harder jutsu. It was time to try the Kumo Keba no Jutsu (Cloud Wisp Technique).

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" Nothing happened.(1/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" He felt a tug inside, but still nothing.(2/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" He felt a bigger tug inside, but still nothing.(3/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" The tug seemed to move a little, but nothing happened still. Luo sighed a bit.(4/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" The tug seemed very apparent and slowly moved upwards, and then stopped.(5/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" He concentrated on his consciousness. The tug moved up to his throat and then stopped and went back down.(6/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" The tug finally exited his body. He went limp and then came back panting. He needed to learn to let go.(7/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" He exited his body, and a small cloud started to form. However, it quickly went away, and he woke back up.(8/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" He exited his body once more in the cloud form and tried to keep it up. He kept it going for a few minutes, but when he moved in the cloud, he came back to his body.(9/10)

Luo formed hand seals and stated, "Kumo Keba no Jutsu!" He exited his body with ease, and moved around in cloud form around the room. It was odd. He could here and see from the cloud. After a while, he went back to his body. He did it. (10/10)

Luo went on to Nagare Isou no Jutsu (Current Transfer Skill). He pulled out one of his kunai to practice with.

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Luo's kunai did nothing and he sighed.(1/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Luo felt the electricity, but couldn't get it to jump to the kunai.(2/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" The electricity couldn't jump, but was trying.(3/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Luo saw a little arch to the kunai finally, but it didn't hold a charge.(4/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" A small arch once again that didn't really hold a long charge.(5/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Another arch formed to the kunai, holding for a second, and then going.(6/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Luo formed a bigger arch of electric chakra to the kunai. It held for about ten seconds, and then went away.(7/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Luo made a stronger arch this time, and it held for twenty seconds, and then stopped.(8/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Luo made a steady strong arch that went to the kunai, held for a minute, and then stopped.(9/10)

Luo formed the proper hand seals and stated, "Nagare Isou no Jutsu!" Luo's arch hit the kunai, and instantly, it sparked with it's own electric charge. It held for a long time, until Luo put it in the ground, leaving a scorch mark. He smiled.(10/10)

Luo got to the skill he was most excited about. Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Bolt Technique)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" He held his hand out and nothing happened. "Figures."(1/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A small fizzle occured, and then nothing. Luo sighed.(2/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A spark emitted from his hand, but that was it.(3/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A bigger spark occured, but that was it.(4/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" An arc formed six inches in length, and then that was it. (5/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A bigger arc formed, and then went away. (6/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A quick longer arc formed and went away. He was close. (7/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A longer straight arc formed, and then went away.(8/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A straight bolt shot out and hit the wall, but nothing happened. It needed more power. (9/10)

Luo formed the hand seals and stated, "Raiton: Raikou Boruto no Jutsu!" A quick bolt shot the wall and left a circular burn mark two feet in diameter. Luo smiled. (10/10)

Luo clapped his hands together ready for the last one: Raikou Henge no Jutsu (Lightning Transformation Technique)

Luo first began converting his chakra to electricity. (1/10)

He continued this until his whole body sparked and arced with electric chakra. (2/10)

He then began running slowly, continuing to charge.(3/10)

He charged more and more. (4/10)

He charged more and more and converted teh chakra faster and faster as he moved. (5/10)

He began to make the chakra flow in spirals around him at great speeds.(6/10)

He continued the spiraling process as he could feel himself getting faster.(7/10)

He pumped the electrick chakra to his feet and his pace shot up.(8/10)

He then encased his body in it as a protection. (9/10)

He then released it as an all out burst around his body. His speed shot up, and his clone's eyes widened. He was moving fast as the speed of light, using the walls and objects to bounce off of and move around. After a few minutes, Luo stopped in front of his clone panting. "Alright, I'm going to the lake. For rest. I deserve it." Luo dispelled the clone, rolled up the scroll and put it with the others and walked to the valley near the lake to sleep. It was almost two in the morning.(10/10)

[Ronnel no Fenniksu]

Ronnel's clone thought about everyone complaining about the cold and decided to help some. Raising its hands and concentrating, he borught wind in that was at first very cold. Slowly he added heat from his fire natured chakra to the winds, warming them to a comfortable degree. Around the Konoha nin he raised winds that werea bout the temperature where the real Ronnel was, their home village. Around most everyone he did the same, but for those from villages he had never been to, winds similar to those from Konoha warmed them. Around Edgar the clone brought winds that warmed him up to where it seemed as if he was back in Suna.
Slumping from the chakra drain required to do that, the clone sat down.
"There....it's warmer in here now guys..."The clone leaned back to meditate some, keeping attention on Ed.
