Not used to the silence, Saiya hummed as she followed him towards the indicated trees where the stream was. She was honestly surprised at how awake she was considering her lack of life giving sustenance, i.e. vanilla lattes.

Leaping onto a fallen log, Kai turned and offered his hand to Saiya. "Told you it wasn't far."

Saiya accepted his hand and lept up on the fallen log with him. "And you were right, imagine that." She teased as she stuck her tongue out at him and jumped down the other side. She moved to the edge of the water and looked down. "It's so dark." She muttered watching the water, feeling as though she should see something more.

"That's because it comes right out the moutains. Purest water you'll find this side of Heaven." Kai stated with a wink as he sat his pack down by a tree and pulled out a necklace. The necklace sparkled even with the little light that shown through the trees, it seemed decorated with interwoven veins of blue that just seemed to remind you of cool water. Moving to kneel beside the stream Kia held out the necklace over the water as if holding it out for someone. "La spirit that guards arthot codru apă , noi a intreba permission la spre folos this apă. Saiya arched an eyebrow and blinked as she watched him. Looking from the necklace to the water she frowned, leaning a bit farther over the water as she swore she saw something moving. Her reflection frowned back at her and for a moment she was about to write it off as paranoia before her reflection seemed to change. Her eyes widened as a girl smiled back at her from the water, her teeth sharp points. "Uh Kai is there-" Her words cut off with a yelp as she dropped her pack on the bank and tried to back peddle away from the water. Before she was able to even land her foot back a step, long lender hands wrapped around her forearms and yanked her into the water.

Grabbing Saiya by the back of her jacket, Kai yanked her back on to the bank. "I wouldn't get to close to her... She doesn't like humans to much." he stated appologetically. "So are you going to except the necklace or not dear Rîu?" Kai aske, swinging the necklace back and forth over the water.

Saiya latched onto Kai, her heart rate indicating her terror at what had just happened. The thing he had called Riu had reached out of the water again and snatched the necklace from Kai's fingers. With a giggle and a splash in Saiya's direction it was gone. Her teal eyes scanned the water almost frantically as she tried to calm her breathing, she barely noticed the water dripping from her hair where she had actually been in the water.

Kai reached over his shoulder to pat Saiya's, her heart beat punding against his back. "It's okay now. Rîu won't hert either of us now that she's excepted the gift... Its kind of part of the whole bargin." he explained, reaching behind him to grab the dirty dishes. Kai managed to do so without moving or turning much since it seemed that Saiya was still kind of in shock over her meeting with Rîu.

Saiya moved away from him, her heart rate still accelerated. She continued to scan the lake as she moved to his side and carefully looked into the water. Yelping she jerked back on her but as Riu played with her, giggling at the girls reaction. "What is she?" She asked him after a moment as she watched the water. Terrified was an apt description for how she felt, but curiosity practically poured from her as she watched the water for Riu.

"Depends on what country you ask." Kai stated through laughter. "Water sprite, water fairy, water faery, water nymphs, naiads or nyads, vilas." he added, beginning to wash the dirty dishes. "Take your pick." he teased over his shoulder at Saiya with a wink.

"Would she.." Saiya bit her lip. "Do you think she would let me draw her?" She asked skeptically as she moved towards the water again. It wasn't every day you met something like Riu, well not in her world at least.

"I don't know." Kai said, standing up as he dried his hands off on his pants. "Why don't you ask her." he stated as he walked over to stand by Saiya's side. "I'm sure she would mind being admired."

Saiya eyed him as though she thought he might be playing some cruel joke before finally turning to the water. "Uh Riu?" She asked as the woman appeared with just her eyes out of the water. "May I draw you?" With a toothy smile Riu rose enough for Saiya to get a good view of her. Taking that as a yes Saiya quickly took her sketch book and pencils and started drawing.

Sitting down next to Saiya as she drew, Kai leaned back on his hands to look at the sky. He couldn't help but smile though when he spotted a familiar shape circling in the sky above. So many friends all out on the same day... he thought happily.

Saiya smiled as she finished up. "Finished. Like it?" She asked Riu as she pointed the drawing at her. Riu giggled and winked at the girl before disappearing under the surface. "You know, somehow that was a bit more disturbing that being yanked under water." Saiya muttered as she started putting her things away.
