"Well, that's good to hear. Unfortunately I can't say the same for myself," Vence said, shrugging. He had to grin a little when she mentioned the shifting around.
"The shifting's just habit, I've been told I do that. but last night...just weird," he finished. Should he tell? he didn't want to bug anyone with his own thoughts and feelings, even if they were about dreams. But on the other hand, maybe it was important. Something baout the dream seemed...essential.
"...Ok, I had this dream last night, very weird. Most of it didn't seem to matter until the end. I was in this anciant city ruin, apparently. There was one wall that was broken up a bit, and each had some sort of picture. But then, those pictures went poof, and the wall went black. And then this voice said some random crap, and then...I woke up." He turned his head back towards the bar, the words coming back to his mind again.
"'The answers lie in walls undone, thrice, twice in count. Find the wall and utter here the words last spoke by shaodw's foe.' That's what the voice said," Vence said, looking back to Mayloo.

"I'm sorry..." She placed a hand upon his shoulder in comfort before swiping it away blushing.
It was more important to listen to what he spoke of then freak out. After he let things shift through his mind it appeared, he finally gave in to tell.
While listening, Maylo tried carefully picking through his words for whatever they could've ment. It took her a moment or two afterwards to speak what she found the meaning to be whether accurate or not.
"Maybe...each picture represented something of importance...as for the broken one, it could already by diminished? As for the voice's advice, I wouldn't be so clear about. All I can sum it up to, is that things of a common meaning are in trouble. Who knows their significance, but I wouldn't test it. Maybe you'll dream abit more tonight....who knows."

"yeah, I hope I dream more. Maybe I can get answers," Vence sighed, before stiffling a yawn. "Oh well, I think it's best we get somethiing to eat, and then we head out, I guess."
[actually, your guesing wasn't far off. xp I could say, but I'll let it unfold over some time. Gotta make this story interesting, y'know? 3nodding ]

She gave a nod to the suggested made out to himself. "Well yes, but if it ever gets too much to handle...you can always talk to me."
As he yawned, her mind also triggered to yawn, they were always contagious little things. A smiled returned as she wiped the tears away. "That sounds good and all...but I have yet to gain courage enough to ask what there is offered...I'm pretty bad about that, sorry"
((Hahaha, XD I'm so cool like that. But yeah, I understand. =D ))

"Thank's for the offer. Normally I wouldn't bother with dreams...but this one is just too strange. And too real. It was like I was actually there."
He shrugged, still puzzling over the words in the back of his mind, but overall removing them from his thoughts. Food was now. Dreams were for the night.
"Don't worry about it, I've been there before, too. You get used to it after a while," Vence said, raising a hand to get the current bartender's attention.
"Two menu's please?"
"Any drinks?" the man asked, glancing at the two of them.
"Water, please," Vence said, and glanced at Mayloo. "Anything you want? water, tea, coffee? I'm pretty sure alcohal is not recomended," he added, smiling.

"Well be that as it may, my offer will still stand." They were going to travel together after all, might as well be open about some issues.
She smiled, thinking it to be alittle hard to get used to being shy while attempting to request, but thankfully, Vence did so instead. Mayloo could've been taught about more of the outside world, but Vence knew more on how the outside world functioned.
Taking the offered menu, she began to scan it slowly, checking both for favorites while keeping prices in mind. As for a drink..."Maybe some tea please?"
Looking at Vence discouraging alcohol, she smiled."All have you know, I've had it before. It a weaker mix...."

"Hey, I've had it too. Didn't like it too much, thoguh," Vence said shrugging. The man nodded when he heard her mention tea, and turned away to grab the drinks. The morning was a bit slow, with only a few people, so there was hardly much waiting.
Vence took a hold of his own menu, and opened to the first page; the breakfast page. The usual breakfast items were listed; eggs, toast, bacon strips, sausages, pancakes, french toast...there was a thought. A small smile coming to his face, he already knew what to order now.
As the drinks came their, Vence gave a smile and a nod of thanks to the man, who in turn nodded back, placing the drinks down in front of them.
"One water, and one tea," the man said, before turnign away as another man called the man to attention.
"Faster than usual," Vence commented, taking a sip of his glass.

"Alcohol..as I've heard, is an aquired taste" She said in a mock snobbish voice, one she actually heard to often around the house. The town was so much more...varied.
Giving the menu a more thorough look over, Mayloo looked up at Vence and smiled. "Are you ready to order? Speaking of orders, they had finally received the drinks in which she now sipped at in patience.

"Yes, I've heard that to," Vence said, smilign at the fake fancy voice. "And actually yes, I am ready," Vence added. "Are you?"
[Yay, I just found a foolproof way of getting rich! mrgreen it requires money though. stare somehow I managed to get some though. 3nodding ]

Giggling abit she shrugged and went on to the food issue. "Yes, I think I will order some pancakes. Those are always good."
Before ordering or settling down to eat, she had to stand and stretch before sitting back down upon the bar stool.
((Oh really now? Investment? XD ))

[well, I meant in Gaia gold, but yes, investment is technically part of it. whee Get the 9 pack bundle of lonely star, and open them all, but dont answer the questions, leaving you the different peoplez. there's a good chance you should have at least one Hatsuya and at least one Cygnus. Sell those, and the rest, and you'll end up with more money than what it cost you to buy the bundle to begin with. mrgreen I gots 500+ k now.]
"Well, I'll just say my order when the guy comes around," Vence said smiling. "It's a rather large order, see." Hey, who said he couldn't have a good breakfast? He would be using his money anyway, sinse he still had hers in a seperate pouch.

((Oh, lol, yeah...I'm bad about that >.< I only buy small things so that when they go up alittle I can sell them again XD. You've got it pretty set. Whatcha questing for?))
"Your planning for a full meal before a trip? I guess that's ok..." Even though it would cost alot. Hm... they would just have to start helping out people sooner then expected.
"Can you get the tender again please?" She asked quietly, still alittle ashamed at how hush she was with strangers.

[That's the funny part. Nothing. whee ]
"Well, it's not a full meal, per say, but it's close enough," Vence said, an amused smile on his face. Vence nodded when she asked about attracting the man's attention again.
"No problem, watch and learn," Vecne said, smiling. The bartender currently had his back turned, placing a glass on a coutner to go into the back for cleaning. Once the man turned thoguh, Vence simply raised his hand partially into the eair. No one else exactly raised their hand in a bar too often, so naturally this attracted his attention quite quickly. The man smiled, apparently pleased at something, and strode forward.
"I have to say, you got some manners, young man. Most people just sit there and call to me like I'm a servant. I appreciate the courtesy."
"Thank you sir, I was just raised properly," Vence responded. The man smiled.
"You two ready to order?" the man asked, nodding to Vence.
"I think so," Vence answered, looking to mayloo, before glancing back.
"Alrighty then," the man said, pulling otu a notepad and a pencil. "Fire away."
"Well, I'll have the large stack of french toast, with two eggs, over easy, and a side of bacon, lightly cooked please."
"My, you eat a lot, don't you?" the man asked casually, chuckling a bit. He turned to Mayloo, a kind smile on his face.
"Would you like to order anything as well, miss?"

((Lucky, lol))
Doing as Vence instructed, she watched him simply raise his hand with good timing. It was odd really, like the class room he did it a few times to catch attention, well only twice.
It was time to order and she was glad cause her stomach was starting to get on her nerves. She managed a smile while Vence spoke to the man shortly before finally ordering. It was indeed a large order, but hey, it could be neccessary for all that travel.
Now it was her turn. "Um...I suppose a stack of pancakes would be all for me please" Mayloo spoke up for her order before turning to Vence. "I would say that's a whole meal."

[Ah, I missed out on Hatsuya. Got a Cygnus, though. 3nodding ~100k there. -is waiting for the eight lonely stars to sell(has a technomage still waiting as well)-]
"Well, A full meal would require a desert and a side dish, wouldn't it?" Vence asked, doing his best to hold back laughter.
"The kid's got a point, actually, but it is fairly large. So, a stack of pancakes and...all of that," the man simply said, smiling. "I'll have your order as soon as possible."
"Thank you," Vence said, nodding in thanks, still smiling.
