Ethral Range

Calypso managed to get the jump on Sonya with her three strikes from behind, causing Sonya's armor to rip slightly in those three areas. The rip did not reveal Sonya's body yet but if Calypso stayed on those areas then they would denude her. Fortunately, her armor was alive so if Calypso focused on a different body part of wanted to run his mouth, then the armor would repair itself and the platinum haired warrior would have to start from scratch.

Sonya then put her blade behind her back, allowing the symboite to latch onto it; she extended her left arm behind her, drawing in electrons, or electrical energy from the atmosphere and drew the energy towards her index and middle finger before firing a continous bolt of indigo electricity towards the platinum haired warrior. She knew that it was going to be no good, but since they were training, sonya figured she might as well pull out all the stops. She needed the training more than the platinum haired warrior.

Calypso instinctively extended out his left hand and launched a continous bolt of electricity from his index and middle finger. The platinum haired warrior thought that the two were just going to practice on their swordplay but obviously Sonya was getting tired of that. Luckily for Sonya, Calypso's electric blast did not contain the full potential for the strength was watered down. There was just enough strength to create an energy clash with Sonya's electric blast. When the two bolts clashed, it was a display of midnight blue electricity and violet electricity. Calypso allowed Sonya to gain the upper hand by letting up on the power, causing Sonya's blast to push towards Calypso even more before the platinum playboy added more energy, causing the opposite effect.

Sonya knew right away that the platinum haired warior was going easy on her; otherwise she would be out for the count due to the amount of power Calypso posessed with the lightning element. She didn't have to add more energy once she saw the blast head towards Calypso each second but after her energy blast was pushed back towards her, she could only muster one more small portion of electrical energy and add it to her attack, causing the blast to once more be redirected towards the platinum haired warrior.

The two warriors continued their beam struggle in an attempt to surpass one another. Eventually it got to the point where the two warriors began walking towards each other while still firing their beams; starting with Calypso, then Sonya. What this did was it allowed one's energy to deliver more force without actually delivering any energy from the atmosphere. As they took each step closer each other, the electricity began to condense and the light it emanated from it began to become brighter and brighter. When they got close enough, their hands connected, then seconds afterwards, locked. The way the electricity acted was similar to turning on a waterhose to high pressure, then pressing one's palm against the hose. Each of their electricity was running across their entire arm; Calypso was bearing violet electricity while Sonya's arm was flodded with midnight blue electricity. All of a sudden

*CLINK!*

Both of them tried to attack each other with their weapons in their free hand; Calypso tried to slice Sonya from left to right horizontally towards her neck while Sonya quickly blocked the platinum haired warrior's blade with her gun. Sonya tried to shoot at Calypso, but since their weapons were connected, he simply twirled his blade 180 degrees; that way his blade was pointed down towards his feet. Due to the speed of Calypso's action, sonya's bullets managed to pass by his face and his left leg. Sonya then redirected her gun back to the same position from before and attempted to let off as many shots as she could. They were blank range and her hand was gripped onto Calypso's other hand. She was sure that she would not miss this time; unfortunately...

"The whole clip!? And it's not even my birthday."
All Sonya did was look at her gun for one second and that was all it took for CAlypso to suddenly send four times the energy from his body to the hand of Sonya. Sonya did good by starting in the path of lightning and even though she wielded a taste she did not have much resistance to the element. Sonya's body twitched for at least 5 seconds, causing her gun to drop to the ground and when the torture was over, fall to her knees looking towards the dirt of the range.

Walking out onto the Ethral Range the arrow that once occupied the holster on her back disappeared. Off in the distance there were a couple of people battling it out, when she heard gun fire she got worried and decided to get a closer look. Concerned that this was not just some sort of battle.
On closer inspection she noticed it was the flirty man she had met in the cemetary... and he was fighting it out with some girl. She couldnt help but chuckle, and covered her mouth. Her imagination going wild as to why this young woman was attacking him, but none the less she didnt want to disturb them so she turned to make her way off twords some where else.

"I guess we can call it quits for now." The platinum haired warrior said as he squatted and picked up the gun, offering it to Sonya who was going through her last seconds of torture. Once the pain was over, Sonya brought her arm lightly towards Calypso's hand, took back Sparks and placed it on her hip, where a portion of her armor began to latch onto it. Calypso even offered her a hand which she took as well, returning back to her feet.

"I messed up; i should have used the gun less." Sonya said to herself. Since they have gotten the weapon, almost everybody in a town that they went to had no ammo for the gun.

There was of course extra ammo when Calypso found the gun, but those were wasted for target practice. Add that to the bullets Sonya used with Calypso, and the gun was officially out of ammo.

"You didn't do THAT bad." Calypso replied.

"I could have done better..i will do better." Sonya thought to herself before giving Calypso her thanks.

"It seems that your girlfriend missed the show." Sonya said before pointing in the direction the priestess was traveling.

The platinum haired warrior dismissed his blade and was suprised to see the priestess from the graveyard again. He had hoped to see her again, but was confident that it was more than unlikely. The only problem was that Sonya was around, meaning that more than likely their conversation would just stay a conversation.

"YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY!" Calypso said in a semi-loud jokingly voice.

Hopefully it would get the girls attention and they could catch up; the platinum haired warrior wanted to just what the hell was she doing here anyway. Was she just travelling like he was or was there more to it.

Hearing his shout from a little ways off, Sila jumped, startled by his realization that she had been there. She stopped and turned around with a look of embarressmen as if she were caught red handed for doing somthing wrong. She gave a little nervious laugh and cough before returning to her calm physique. " my apoligize, I had no idea that there was a specific direction I was supposed to take" she called back.

"Yeah it's a little difficult to notice with all this land out here and no roads." the platinum haired warrior said in a joking tone.

While Sonya walked a few steps away from the two in order to give Calypso and Sila some privacy, Calypso looked her up and down, noticing a few changes but nothing too dangerous.

"So what brings you here to the range? Im sure the dead are on their coffee break and im not sure when they're coming back."


"What is that?" Sonya said to her lightly as she was looking in the direction of Ethral City. There were far from the city but all she could barely see were undead dragons and zombie dragons soaring above the skies the swooping in low every now and then.

If only they knew...

Sila walked closer to him to keep from shouting and looked at him curiously. " oh, no I am merely wondering, not in search of any particular dead thing" She giggled, his comment quite strange to her, but cute in a sort of way. When his partner mentioned what was that she suddenly got a shiver as the numbness in her head came back from Spirit waking up ever so slightly, she frowned. " Those auras..." She whispered and bit her lip.

(( Due to the constant wait for Axel... I'm gonna call a time skip here, in tired of being Idle. Axel entered Viper's mind, He saved Viper fight her inner being and become more in conect with her alter ego and in return she returned him to his own body. In the process changing herself))

"Wondering huh? Welcome to the club." Calypso told her as he spreaded his arms out in a joking manner.

Usually the ones who would be out here are those who are looking for a good fight and those who are just looking for a place to lay low. On the contrary, the platinum haired warrior has only been here once, making this his second time here.

"We were just out here picking up a good sweat. Nothing too dangerous right Sonya?."

He looked back to wait for her reply, but it seemed that she was far more buzy looking into the distance near Ethral city rather than trying to have a good conversation. Fortunately, the platinum haired warrior managed not to become one hundred percent distracted and heard Sila mention something about auras.

"Auras?" Calypso asked before he decided to take a look at what the two girls were interested in besides him.

The platinum haired warrior turned to see what Sonya was looking at with a curious expression on his face and what was preventing him from trying to get with Sila-er getting to know her better. Sonya more than likely may have saw a glimpse, but Calypso was able to see what was going on perfectly from afar.

"Looks like Ethral City has somehow found another way to get itself into trouble again..big trouble."

Sila looked at the silver haired man. " You've been there before?" She asked curiously. The place itself seemed to glow with it's taint... She frowned and but then dropped it. " it is truly sad to see cities crumble to evil" She sighed. Her grip loosened on her dragon headed staff as her smile returned.

Na-Nel woke up in Axel's arms. She took in a deep breath as if she hadnt been breathing before then. She looked around, a little dazed, and heavily confused until it all hit her again.
Axel had managed to enter her mind and find her just as her alter ego came back. With his encouragement she was able to defeat it and it absorbed back into her body... She shivered and closed her eyes for a moment, her broken heart suddenly acting up again, which started this whole mess. She sighed and looked up to Axel's closed eyes, he must not have woken up yet. She crawled out of his arms, and layed him down on the ground. " I owe you everything" She whispered to him and gentle stroked his cheek. She knelt and gave him a light kiss on his forehead then stood up and leapt onto the sleeping Fang's head. " come find me" She murmered in Axel's direction then scratched just above Fang's eye and he woke up. She smiled, happy to see he was still alive then he began to move twords Ethral city. " Good to see you too buddy" She chuckled as he gave a low rumble.

"Yeah we've been there before but for a short time; though it was a nice city with a lot of people and warriors ranging from beginner to master. Now you'll be lucky if you get to see anything that moves and breathes without worrying about your well being."

Sila then lost her smile and was sad at how a city that once held warriors of many ranks and innoncent people suffer to those who followed the dark. Calypso was not much of a fan of placing things under the light and dark category; the warrior instead wanted to cut to the chase.

"We can always go over there if you want." the platinum haired warrior offered, but in a tone that didn't seem like he wanted to go at all, when in reality he did. "They'll be more to see and perhaps you can put your staff to use.

He tried to make it sound as if it would be a good experience fighting off dragons much bigger then they are and enemies who were around Calypso's level of performance.

Sila looked at him for a moment then nodded. She had nothing better to do ad thought better of protesting. And she was just a little curious as to what was in that city. it looked so dark from here, but what had made it so dark in the first place. " Sure, i see no problem with that" She smiled once more, though she did not really want to use her staff... but Spirit told her something important was there for her. She could never defy Spirit.
