I'm noticing a common theme with the characters you like. You like the weird ones. Weird in that good guy strange way.

Yeah, I like the funny weird characters and the all round good guys.
TOP 5:
1 Kenshin
2 Gai
3 Ryu
4 Sven Volfied
5 Vash the Stampede
AS FOR FEMALE CHARACTERS:

Bubblegum Crisis is a classic.
Priss is just so kick-a**, but I really like Syllia. She is dark and "troubled". XD
That might also be why I like Kikyou and even Sango over Kagome.
Or why I like Vegeta (not to meantion he is the smex) or Piccolo (who is the smex for a green guy) over Goku.
Kenshin is hot and he is troubled. That's just... great. Same with Vash, Gene Starwind, Spike- all anime hotties. I do like bishouned greatly. >__>;;
Now, when it comes to boys, I do like those every-day nice guys like Tenchi, Akito, Keiichi, etc. They are so cute. ^__^<3
I don't really have a pattern for characters I do like; however, there seems to be a pattern for characters that I do not care so much about.
In general, unless it's a cutesy anime, I don't like the bubbly/vapid type. (Mihoshi doesn't count, since she is a genius after all. XD <3) Also, I don't like characters that are there only for fanservice. I need character, please.
