Yea, besides, so you drive yourself into the ground in debt. When you die, IF there is something to still be had, I'm thinking your more likely to be able to take your experiences than your fiances with you ^_~.

I am/was too. But at the same time, I feel that if I'm always alone and never end up having a family that what's the point? I guess on the one hand I'll either do the things I want and be fine living on the edge, it's not like I have anything/one to save for anyhow...or I'll end up with the family that despite all protest I really want, and I'll figure it out then. At least I won't be alone right? Haha.

I mean I'm still not going to throw all my money away on materialistic things, but I think experiences/education/etc are worth stretching the dime.

I used to be too until a year or so ago, so who knows, your mindset might change as well.

Whoo, with the help of my awesome friend DemonicRose, we have gotten an English version of the YUU*GI*OU Character Sorter online! I'll add it to the first post for anyone to use. I've added quite a few extra characters, so I hope people aren't upset that it takes a while to fill out! Hope you guys like!

Ok first, I did this WAY too fast and screwed up several times (took me awhile to realize I could "like both" and made some random decisions that might not really reflect how I feel), secondly I got lazy about looking up other characters (realizing later that I just didn't know Japanese names of minor YGO characters and assuming them to be alternate series, thus ignoring), and of course I still haven't seen Grand Prix. Sooooooo, this is a very rough list, I also really don't think I'd take cards into consideration.

I'm assuming that if they all have a 1 it means they tied, so 9 way tie for first: Yami no Bakura, Otogi, Seto, Ryuuzaki, Pegasus, Shaadi, Set, Shada and Mahaado.

I will stop listing there, I just don't care about or know most of the characters any further. Actually I don't care about several characters on this list. I'll have to hit ignore more often. But I felt like I shouldn't do that, seeing the results I now realize yes I should. Because seriously, other than the Magicians I don't care about any of these cards. And I'm really indifferent to Raphael as well. Likewise, I probably like the idea of Amane and who she is more than her. Same with Cyndia. And I really only saw the final arc once, and still haven't finished the manga. So in my mind, the Egyptian characters who have counterparts aren't entirely separated out from them for me. So it's weird to see them listed separate/try to compare them.

Anyhow I'll wait until I watch Grand Prix (and rewatch the Egyptian Arc) to redo this more slowly, and hopefully get more accurate results. It'll probably always be hard having the other 5D/GX/etc characters. But until a main series sorter in English appears, this will be it. Although, now knowing which box is which, and already knowing most Japanese names from the main series (at least of main characters/characters I'd even care about), I probably don't particularly need it in English if it's the same format.

Yea I know. I was doing this too quick though, like I said. So I ended up using both when I did still have a preference, and not using it when I actually really did like the characters pretty equally. Bumping some characters too high and others too low. And then again with then with characters with Egyptian arc counterparts it just all got to blended, again I needed to slow down. Like I'd be looking at Set and thinking Seto, Pharaoh Atemu and thinking Yami no Yuugi, etc. So a lot of those got answered wrong.

A world with two Anzu's and no Ryou?!? NIGHTMARE!!! Hahaha, j/k, but yea that's rather important (methinks). And yes, the way you feel about Yuugi is how I feel about Yami no Yuugi, haha. But I'd realized that awhile ago independent of the sorter.

Yea, I should probably just pic all the YGO characters above them, even if I couldn't care less, just to make it less confusing and but the GX/5D people at the bottom. I'll do that next time. Although I'll have to learn Japanese names for minor characters. Like one of the very first characters I saw was Mei and thought, no idea who that is, must be GX or something. Later while looking up some of the priests (I know them a bit more by face than name) I realized he was Para, who I guess I really have no opinion about but obviously I would have picked him above a character that I didn't know from an alternate series.

I hope so too, we'll see, life is crazy. Though I got out of work today and yesterday because of weather, which was nice. I mean being paid would be nice but I'm lazy. Haha, and I spent a lot of today making my Facebook neater (I consolidated 43 albums into 17), which was unnecessary but nice.

Yea, I mean Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl are the only ones that I particularly like. I especially found Timaeus and the other 2 to be really kind of random. I don't mind that they are in there but yea, I just don't care. And I guess next time I'll have to debate between bumping them completely to the bottom (even under GX/5D just to get them completely out of the way) or what. Of course I'd still vote DM and DMG on the list, but those are the only ones of those.

I know I'm not a patient person, and when you said it would take awhile I figured it would actually take significantly longer and it was late and I wanted to get through it. I'm better prepared for next time, which won't be right now.

Actually, I know that one...as Ryouta, haha. I was like damn, whose Kajiki, I probably don't care if I don't know the name. Yea with the minor characters that I do care about - or feel a need to know about - I usually at least know part of the name in Japanese.

I know!!! I was totally thinking that when I wrote my entry yesterday but didn't bother to say that, but yes. That's kind of exactly it. You have huge cards that are so much more relevant to the main characters not in there, but you have those? Well, on that basis, DM and DMG are kinda characters from the past too. I think I just thought the whole actual role of Timaeus and them was just so blah in the end that they matter less to me. They might have been human in the past but they are quite bit, unlike DM who comes up all the time. AND! On the basis of not human, Kuriboh is in there!!! I really had to wonder if that was a toss to LK. ninja
