@Karma - Well that makes me much more likely to buy. The only issue is, paying. I have credit card phobias, and I don't like to use them online. If a prepaid credit card falls into my lap in the near future this is DEFINITELY what I'm buying. If not I'll have to think about it. Or at least wait until I dump my entire savings into school, so that I have nothing to steal. xd

@J - Sure, although that still doesn't solve the problem of us playing 4 at once, because it'd be one person on the computer at a time.

@Karma - The site for l4D said it's coming out for Mac soon! I can't find where it said that now, but I had been talking to Kits about it when we were being mean to Macs and what not, haha

And that's true, I think Xbox would be much more likely to work with Sony than Nintendo.

Here it is!

http://www.valvesoftware.com/news/?id=3568

It says Steam games (including l4D2) will come to Mac in April, and it's April. So if it's not out yet it should be soon actually?

Woot double posting!

@JK: But it's a safe site, I've used it plenty! Besides, you're fine as long as you keep track of what you buy and report it quickly if anything goes wrong. I too have a fear, but there are some sites I'll trust after getting to know them well enough.

Oh yay! Then you guys need to get it when you can! But make sure your computer can actually handle it...XD JK make yourself a steam profile!! And can your PC handle it? Otherwise, you'll lag!
PostPosted: Fri Apr 09, 2010 11:42 pm

ok so i will keep an eye out for it.

Hmmm... not sure my desktop could handle it. its kinda old and slow.

@Karma - if paranoia was something you could just dispel away with proof it wouldn't be called paranoia. It would be called logical opinions that can be reasoned with. Which would be much to long mind you.

Anyhow I'll think about it, right now I gotta figure out all my school stuff which is stressful. Other than credit card info, is there any personal info I'd have to put onto Steam (not counting name, birthday type stuff here).

@Both - Does the game take up a lot of space on your hard drive? Because if not J just run it on the laptop, if it's mostly online anyhow you'd probably not want to put it on the desktop. Does your desktop even have internet?

MORE DOUBLE POSTING...maybe...MUWHAHA!!

Anyhow I get my laptop back tomorrow which they said they did fix this time. Like serious major re-haul. What happened to "oh nothing is wrong pay us a service fee" Frys? That's right! They are at least refunding that fee, so, huzzah! So I'll see how it runs now...o_O...most likely I still want a new computer for a lot of other reasons in relation to I used to have two computers and now I have one. So I really need a better one if it's servicing everything.

Anyhow I gotta get up early tomorrow to go get the thing before work, so I'd better go now, gnite!

@J - bring Sherlock Holmes and Star Trek to the pool after 3, I'll put Inglourious Basters in my LG bag now so I won't forget it. smile

@JK: Lol I wish it was that way, then I could make sense of all my fears T_________T

I don't remember...I don't think so. It's really up to you if you even display some of the stuff. Like I don't remember my address being asked for or shown. Probably just USA but that doesn't matter.

7400 MB I think.

I should go too...Good night!

Ohh Sherlock Holmes was good!
PostPosted: Sat Apr 10, 2010 12:05 am

I never watched Star Trek...So it's good you say.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 10, 2010 4:48 pm

@Karma - that would be nice.

Indeed it was quite good.

It is actually really good. I mean if you are a die hard Star Trek fan I get the impression there are tons of discrepancies that might irritate. But it's a good movie and it's a good taste of ST for non-geeks, hehe. And my mom, while no geek, was a pretty big fan of Star Trek and she still likes the movie. So it can be enjoyed in it's own right even if you are, unless you really want to fight the like. Haha.

@JK: No worries on being slow. Though as I also like to read things once they are completed more, I think I'll wait to finish your story once you do complete it. :3
Part six is up now! Haha, Ellis is so dog-like. XD
Oh, and I showed DemonicRose that fic the other day, and now she's getting into the pairing and ended up finding this fic: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5670950/1/Healing
It's just a fun little one shot, but I thought it was quite well-written, as well as cute and hot.
VGCats is sweet because it has sooooo many different video game comics, even Left 4 Dead stuff!

Yay, I hope we can get her into Left 4 Dead as well! XD
Yes, I'm pretty sure I did mention Nek in the survey thread.

@Karma: You mean Ellis has Nick and Keith meet, then gets jealous of their interaction? XD Jealous Ellis, yay more rhyming!
Luigi's a Nekrophiliac!
OMG, I just saw that Single Ladies video the other day! XD It's so cute!

@JK: Karma and I don't have XBoxes either, so you'd probably be best off getting it for PC. XD I'm waiting until I have a desktop computer instead of just a laptop. I think my Laptop just barely has the RAM requirements to handle it, but the graphics card isn't good enough. However, most of my friends are computer geeks, so I'm thinking of asking if we could possibly get enough parts together to build me a computer...

@HG: I wish it would come out for the Wii... I could actually aim at zombies properly that way. XD

@JK: You can also buy Left 4 Dead and other PC games at the store, like a console game. Then I think you just install the disk into your computer instead of downloading it online. As for Steam, I think it's just like any site you sign up for to make an account, like Gaia.
I don't think most laptops could handle Left 4 Dead though. Requirements are: One Gig of RAM, unless you're running Vista, then you need two, for the graphics card, ATI x800/nVidia 6600 or better; DirectX 9 compatible card w/ 128MB memory; Shader model 2.0, and 7.5 Gigs of hard drive space.
Hmmm, maybe I'll consider seeing Star Trek then. Didn't bother because I was never into the series.

@Kits - Probably a good plan, I'll let you know when I'm done. At the very least when I'm done writing, because I'll probably pick a constant update pattern to finish it off then. I'm the same way, because I always worry about incomplete things staying that way. And especially when I read a really awesome story, it's torture!

Yay links! I'll get to those after I submit.

I'm pretty sure as well, it's just in context Nek seemed like a plausible noise of disgust that I didn't think back to that. Hah Nekrophiliac... xd

THAT VIDEO IS CUTE!! Like it's so sad but SO adorable, ahh!!

So how are you playing right now Kits? And yea, first I might be replacing my laptop soon. And I do want a new desktop for gaming, it's just as I plan on moving soon I'm putting that off. If I end up being gone for more than a year I'd definitely reconsider, but if it's only a year I think I'd wait and then look for something then. I'm going to try installing the Sims on my laptop and see how that goes (on the loaner it was so amazingly fast, I was in total awe). It was kinda slow on my desktop (especially pages loading), but I've never had a more advanced game than Roller Coaster Tycoon on here, so I'm not sure how my laptop will handle it. I'm still rebuilding everything, having had my entire system restored. We'll see though. I have computer geek friends as well, but again, I don't want a computer built for me that i can't take with me (not unless they had some hankering to do this for free - which they do not, I mean at the very least they'd charge for parts).

I think shooter games are rather conducive to Wii, they aren't usually my type of game, but yea, it'd be nice to use my hands rather than my fingers to shoot something, haha.

Why does Vista need extra ram? And I don't even know the logistics on my laptop honestly so I have no idea how I compare to that (especially Shader model, never even heard of that). Other than the hard drive space, which that is barely anything, so no problem. Anyhow if you'll advise I need a desktop then I'd definitely have to wait awhile, because I won't have one anytime soon.

I wasn't into Star Trek at all and I love the movie, so yea, I'd say give it a shot.

LMAO ahh I love the comic with Bot Coach "Mister. I don't think I like your attitude." Mainly because he does in fact say that to Nick xD

lol yea, so it would be Keith/Nick :3
Cute and sad XD

I just finished that comic 3 seconds ago and was TOTALLY thinking the same thing. Awesome! I also love the whole freaky terminator type ending.
