@Harupiggy: I agree. I felt like I was going way to fast to justify having to wait so long for this remake, so I'm slowing down a little.

Besides, I already got a supply of good 'mons to beat a** with, so why rush to get more?

I got my 7th badge this morning. I took down the entire ice gym using only a Feraligatr.

I severly over leved Feraligatr at that.

Seriously my Feraligatr is like level 49-51 going against a level 34 at the highest in that gym.

I really just use the starter and that's it. I mean like when I played Fire Red I beat the Elite 4 with only having one pokemon.

A level 99 Blastoise.

Picked Totodile as my starter because he's a BAMF.

Got stuck at Falkner due to underleveling/not having any moves strong against flying/goddamn ROOST D< /general incompetence

Going to try and get a Mareep or something later.

Also, that Lugia figurine is badass.

In the meantime, I'm working on Safari Zone a little bit, and getting some babies/legendaries
My Pokemon are all worthless. >_> My Alakzam is the only thing I've got that doesn't suck. It Singlehandedly beat all 8 gyms in Kanto. >_<

Just beat Blue and am gonna chill in Mount Silver until my team is ready to face Red and the second Pokemon League. I think this is the best game in the series, it's so good. x_x

Overall, I'd say I picked some pretty sweet choices for a team, except for Pidgeot....she's pretty much the weakest link, but she's okay.

Typhlosion's stong, but his defense's are pretty fragile. However, Vaporeon will cover for him by Baton Passing certain moves she'll learn later on.

Scizor's moveset needs a lot of work, but right now it's pretty good. Oh and those weak moves of his aren't so weak when you consider that he has the Technician ability. That ability combined with his high Attack stat makes him deadly.

I sought out Nidoking purely for his move pool and his ability to be a pretty formidable mixed sweeper. So far he's living up to that.

Blissey I trained in Platinum and traded over to SS to be my teams' Cleric/Special Wall/Staller.
