"erm....you....have to choose...which June you want...." She finally turned and looked at Duri, taking a deep breath
"June isn't...exactly....dead. She's....split...." Lia swayed a little
"the angelic portion of her being has ascended, and...the human portion...." She spread her arms out to the sides

((I'm guessing the angel June is the Motherly one, and the human June is the often drunk June?))
