Vaul Moon
Vaul gaze did not move from her and he could tell that she was more then upset at this. As well should would probably have a harder time accepting this compared to him, which from birth was destined to die at an early age. A soft smile made its way across his deformed face. This meant more to him then he lead onto with his expression and he found it hard to express his emotions at this time and they did always give him trouble. He drifted a little closer to her and knew well enough what he wished to do at this very moment. Leaning in slightly he reached for her lips with his own and kissed her gently. They might have been together for only a few days but it had felt like a longer time to him. Parting there bodies he looked down at the water. "Sorry about that" he said in a soft voice before slowly brining his gaze to her.
((Back at school and finding it as boring as ever.))

Marie Marie was startled by the kiss, and reached her hand up to feel her lips after he moved away as if to convince herself it had really happened. She hadn't realize until that moment that she had wanted him to kiss her that much. But these days they had spent together she never wanted them to end. She heard him apologize for it and shook her head. She kissed him again for a moment before pulling away and biting her lip. "Don't be sorry for that. Ever." She grinned happily. She didn't know where this put them, or where this could lead. But she knew she wanted to find out. She ran one of her hands through her hair to push it away from her face so she could look up at him. "I'm glad you did that." She said gently. ((Same here, I'm constantly either in class or doing homework. It's pretty stressful.))

Vaul Moon
Vaul smiled upon hearing her words and he lifted his head. His crystal blue eyes where fixed on her and a gentle expression formed on the mans deformed face. He was more then pleased to hear that from her and was unsure what all of this meant to him but he had grown attached to Marie over the past few days. This might be because the time he left on this world was approaching to an end or that he really did care for the women in front of him. "So am I" he said in a soft voice as he drifted towards her once more. Maybe an inch of water separated their bodies and he smiled lightly at her. "Also thank you for seeing beyond this appearance" he said as he extended his arms out to the side and looked him self over. He was the happiest he had been in ages in this every moment and how he wished it could last a life time. Lifting his head he looked back at her and reached for her lips in another soft kiss as his arms made there way around her body.

Marie Marie wrapped her arms around his neck when he kissed her again and responded to the kiss before pulling back slightly. "There is nothing to look past Vaul. I see you for who you are. And that's what matters." She smiled and then leaned back up to kiss him again. A few moments later there was a rustle in the trees nearby and then a voice. "So you are back Marie, and you brought a friend." A voice said from behind them. Marie pulled back and looked over Vaul's shoulder to see the face that belonged to the voice and cringed when she saw her. "Hi mom." She muttered burrowing her face into Vaul's shoulder a bit.

Vaul felt a set of arms wrap around his neck and his made there way around her waste and lower back. He held her close and there kiss left him in a bit of a daze. Her words went straight to his heart and she had no clue how happy this made him. Most that lived here could not see past what he looked for the man he truly was and she seemed to accept it without trouble like one of his own race. He returned the kiss that she had shared with him only to hear the voice of another women. Raising and eyebrow he looked over his shoulder and saw an older women. So that was her mother but he did not understand why she was hiding from the women. "Hello" he said before turning his attention back to Maire. He looked down at her and was not to sure what to say at this moment.

Marie Marie groaned inwardly. Of all moments her mother had to choose this one to show up. Couldn't she have just waited until they got to the village on their own. She really didn't want this moment with Vaul to end. "Mother this is Vaul, Vaul this is my mother." She said remembering her manners, but just barely. She wanted to tell her mother to get lost, but she held her tongue. "It's a pleasure Vaul." Her mother smiled and gave him a pleasant nod. "Are you looking for something in particular in our village or have you already found something of intrest?" Her mother spoke looking between the both of them. Marie mumbled "Kill me now." Under her breath before sending an apologetic look toward Vaul. "Mom, Vaul needs help from them." She didn't bother specifing who them was, her mother would know. "Well stay the night with us while we contact them, we love company." Her mother went back to talking to Vaul. Marie brushed her hand against Vaul's face before leaving the water and going to her mother. She tried smiling happily but it came out more as a grimance. ((So anything new in your life?))

Vaul heard her groan and then turned his attention towards the other women that was there and listened to Marie introduce the two of them to each other. He only nodded slightly before hearing the older womens comment. "It is" he said in a calm voice before he listened to her speak. He gave her question a few moments thought and then found his gaze drifting towards Marie as she spoke once more. His arms where still wrapped around her body and he was about to answer her mothers question when she spoke. "I have found someone that is of interest but as Marie mentioned I do need some assistance with various matters. I would be happy to explain if you chose to listen" he said before smiling lightly. He had thought over her offer of staying the night and nodded slightly before feeling a familiar hand brush against his face.
Following behind Marie he walked to the shore and rose out of the water slowly. His deformed body could be clearly seen and the mechanical replace shined in the sunlight. Vaul was unsure how her mother would take the sight but he found him self not caring about such things at this time. Marie's opinion was the only on that he truly cared for. Letting him self dry off a little he began to dress his body in his typical out fit and the mask was placed on his face once again.
((Nope can't say there is anything new in life for me. Still the same dull day in day out.))

Marie Marie noticed her mother glance at Vaul's body in shock for a moment, but she knew her mother would keep her thoughts to herself. Many people crossed through the village in search of help. Marie's mother glanced toward Vaul again. "We can talk of your situation at the village, I'm sure you must be craving a good strong meal." She smiled pleasantly at him and then turned and began walking toward a path that you would have had to of been looking for specifically in order to have seen it. Marie stayed where she was until she saw Vaul beside her then she began walking. She wanted to say something, anything. But she didn't know what to say. Not with her mother right in front of them. But she was happy. The closer they got to the village the closer they go to helping Vaul. If anyone would know what to do it would be the council. ((That sucks. The weather is the only exciting thing happening here, the rain has been continious.))

"As you wish" Vaul said as he looked over at her mother and pondered a few thoughts. It did not take him long to cloth his body and he began walking behind to women only to have Marie come to his side. He looked over at her and kept him self for the time being bit he did reach down and over gently touching her fingers before locking his hand around hers. He was not in the most stable of conditions at this very moment but he knew she would not mind. "Thanks" he muttered softly as he looked over at her. He tried to keep this between the two of them for the time being. Scanning the area he saw that they where approaching what seemed to be a village. "Is this were you where born" he asked in a curious tone once again direction his question to Maire.
((Sounds depressing almost, rain seems to have that effect on me.))

Marie Marie heard his question and nodded her head solemnly, "This village is my birthplace. It's beautiful, and this is orginally where the witches council came from. Everyone here is a direct desendant." She replied looking around. A lot of people had stopped to stare, but whether that was because of Vaul or the shock of seeing her she wasn't sure. The day she had walked away hadn't really been a good one, screaming could be heard echoing around the village. She walked closer to Vaul, it made her feel better. A man approached them and grinned widely. "Well well look who's back." He grinned then turned to Vaul. "And your the reason I suppose? Nice to meet you sir I'm John." He stuck his hand out happily. Everything about him seemed to scream laid back. Marie rolled her eyes affectionatly.

Vaul listened to her every word and she had managed to peek his curiosity. He was smart enough to draw the lines and the women next to him was a witch and none the less a descendant form the ruling council. "Interesting" he muttered as he looked over at her for a moment. His gaze wandered over the area and they where getting stares from the locals but that was something he was used too. However he was not sure if they where looking at him or her in this case but both seemed like an option.
Soon enough a man approached them and greeted the two of them. Extending his large mechanical hand her grabbed onto the others man and shook it. "I am Vaul and a pleasure to meet you" he said before letting go of the mans hand. He seemed to be a rather laid back and relaxed individual and they might get along with one another. As well it seemed that Marie knew the man but he did not bother to ask at this time.

Marie John looked over at Marie and smiled wider. "So little girl, you finally come back to face up to your destiny?" He asked still grinning though Marie's eyes had narrowed angrily. "I'm staying here only for a night, then I'm going with Vaul." She snarled back, though she was finding it hard to stay mad at this man. "Aw, my little sister doesn't miss me?" He pretended to pout and Marie scoffed. "Not on your life you creep." But now she was smiling as well. John turned back to Vaul, "Let's get you something to eat and a hard drink to wash away your travels. We can talk about your situation over dinner." He led them inside a house and on the table was a feast of foods all steaming hot. "Help yourself." John said sitting down at the table. He had the curtesy to wait a brief moment before becoming serious and looking at Vaul again. "So how serious is it? Your problem I mean." He asked

Vaul kept to him self for the time being and looked over at the two of them and he could see the resemblance to one another. Pondering over a few thoughts he walked with them to a home before he was let in side. Not that he wanted to offend them but he looked away from them and removed his mask as he ate. So far Marie would be the only to see him without it on and he planned to keep it that way if possible. "Its a rather large issue for me and my people" he started out by saying before taking a few more bites of food.
"We call it the Black Scrawl and it devours our bodies. I my self might have a few more days to a few months left to live and I come here to seek aid" he said before sighing softly. He felt the need to cough but kept it under control for the time being. "Most magic and herbs have little effect on it and we can only numb the pain" he said before sliding his mask back on. He spun around in his seat and looked over at the two of them waiting to hear what they had to say about the matter.

Marie John's face grew more serious as Vaul finished what he was saying, when he was done. "Then there is no time to waste. We will talk to the witches' council into pushing your case to the top, it should only take a day or two, maybe less if we're lucky." John said pounding his hand suddenly on the table in determination. Marie knew how John was, he always wanted to save people, and while sometimes that very idea had gotten him in trouble, she figured this time it would be a lot of help. Because if anyone could convince their grandmother of something it would be him. "Vaul, when you're done eating what would you like to do?" Marie asked looking over at Vaul with a small smile.

Vaul listen to the mans words and smiled lightly. "I would be most grateful if you where able to do that" he said before he continued to eat the small meal he had taken for him self. He was not a big eater and had to space it out due to the Black Scrawl which riddled his body. Although he came to a stop as he heard her voice and grinned every so slightly. "If its possible I would like to see you in private" he said as he felt his heart beginning to pound. Even though it had only been a few days he had developed a fondness for Marie and he could not explain it. Eventually he finished with his meal and put his mask back on before placing his plate and glass on the table. His gaze soon wandered to her, he wished for them to be alone for a bit longer without any interruptions.
