Willow Grove

Mae-Ri smiled.
"I guess I have a small sense of humor." She said.
She began to walk over to her messenger bag.
"I should get go-"
She tripped over a rock.

Vivian sees a girl trip, she puts her sketching pad down and rushes over to see if she's alright.
She offers her hand to help her up.
Are you alright?! she asks, hoping the girl is fine..

Damian blinked and looked down at Mae-Ri. "Yow, bad trip." he frowned and was about to offer to help her up, but someone beat him to it. Upon closer inspection, he recognized the other girl. "Hey, you're Vivian, right?" he smiled.

Vivian looks up as she hears her name.
She smiles as she turns toward the voice that had called her and sees it's Damian.
Jesus, I must look like a stalker now...
"Uh, Yea.. I'm Vivian" she says awkwardly, but still smiling.

Mae-Ri's face turned red.
"T-thanks. I'm fine." She said, sitting up.
Her knee was bleeding.
Oh man...  

[Catastrophicc]

"Oh, your knee's bleeding.. do you need bandaid? I carry some with me in my bag.. I'm quite clumsy myself actually." Vivian says inspecting the girls knee.

"I guess it's my turn to help ya now." Damian laughed and crouched down besides Mae-Ri. He got her tool kit and started checking out her knee. While cleaning the wound, he smiled at Vivian. "What brings you here?" he asked.

She was going to give me a ban aid. I wonder why she thinks she's a stalker now.. She thought,reading Vivian's mind.
Mae-Ri winced while he cleaned her knee.
"This is highly embarrassing..." She mumbled to herself.

"Well.. I was drawing a palm tree by the pool earlier." she says thoughtfully, watching as Damian cleans out the girls cut.
But.. I decided it was all wrong, and I needed a more.. grungy, less.. pretty and well put together.. if I'm making sense. I suppose I felt it needed to look more lonely and sad than, pretty. I decided willow trees looked sad and droopy enough.
Vivian explains.. hoping she makes sense.
It seemed to make sense in my head.. just my mouth can't verbalize the idea. haha, hopefully I dont look like an idiot right now..

"Why'd you want it to look depressing and lonely?" Damian asked while putting a band-aid over the cut. "Don't worry about it." he smiled at Mae-Ri. "We all make mistakes."

"Some of us make too many mistakes." She mumbled.
She stood up, stretching her leg out.
"Thanks" She quietly said.
She walked away from the two. She grabbed her book bag.
"Now, a place to stay for the night.. I need to register my dorm stuff tomorrow.." She said to herself.

"What, you don't have a place to stay?" Damian asked.

Vivian thinks about Damian's question.. she had never really thought about why she prefered things to look dreary and sad.
"I suppose because people have long forgotten what it feels like to be happy.. and it seems that the only art that people actually feel things from tend to be sad pieces of art. I want people to be impacted by my art.."
She looks at the girl she had helped, "I'd offer you a room in my dorm, however it's full.. Im sorry!" She gives the girl an apologetic look.
