Eventually, Alex fell into an unconscious state that he couldn't be waken from as he laid still trying to heal. He felt kind of sick, but that was expected a he laid still wanting to sleep. He thought about the fight with Connor analyzing every second of it and then the scowl on Rose's face when he sat at her porch. He knew she wouldn't want to talk to him again and with that it would make her life easier and their fighting end as neither would have a reason to fight without her there while neither had a kingdom to fight for, all they had was her.

Alex woke up feeling the sun on his black back. He groaned and looked around feeling his chest and the thick blood on his chest still. He was still badly wounded but he felt a lot better than he had in the first place. He slowly sat up grunting in pain before walking to the window looking outside seeing it to be another sunny cool day. He sighed seeing more dark clouds in the distance and then looked at the thermometer and seeing it windy outside letting him know it was going to blizzard again.

Alex climbed up onto the roof relaxing in the sun light just chilling. It hurt a little bit obviously due to how sensitive his skin was to it, but it felt good on his wound with the heat. He breathed in deeply and looked over in the direction of the snow storm and the cold temperature. He also breathed in Ambrosia's scent and then Connor's. "You've got to be kidding me," he hissed sitting up painfully to jump downstairs to grab his clothes again and his sword. If he was coming back, he wouldn't be thrown off again

Alex grabbed his things and tied his belt on quickly stuttering out the door only to be caught on the throat by Connor. He violently coughed for a second trying to open his air ways, but then stopped not needing a lot of air to live off. Still he tried to lash out at his brother but his grip only tightened as Alex clenched around his wound harder in response. They both stayed like that for a while seeing who could outlast the other. When neither budged, Connor finally spoke.

"Still think she's better off with you? At least I don't lie and I've never kept the truth from her when we were together. You always did trying to keep her safe but always failing. It wasn't right you know. In the end, she always died," Connor snarled getting in his brother's face as blood ran down his square chin. He tightened more when he tried to speak, but he kept trying and trying, and he kept tightening and tightening. He wouldn't stop until he was unconscious, and that wasn't stopping any time soon.

"A-at least. . . she lived f-f-freely without y-you. . . restraining her. . . to what you w-w-wanted," Alex finally got out on to be thrown down the road like he'd done to Connor day before and digging into the ground cutting his body up.

A huge bang exploded through the city fallowed by a big dust cloud then smoke with the small amount of distance between them and Ambrosia's house. Alex stood up again pushing out through the ruble with his blood painting the ground again along with Connor's though as he came out of the destroyed building a few feet away from him. "Leave her alone or something! I'll leave, you leave!"

"Remember what happened last time from that?" Connor asked popping his jaw back into place and getting out of the way of the burning fire. "She was killed by something else. Duh. Its going to keep happening like this until this stops, or she's changed. You know that!"

"You and I already tried that, she was killed both times from us unable to stop ourselves," Alex snarled before grabbing Connor and throwing him again before throwing a black fire ball after him before it hit him and another huge explosion sounded. Only that all was answered by one back to him causing another one on the other side.

Both got up and charged each other again with burns, cuts, and ripped clothing covering their bodies. Both were still ready to fight and wasn't going to stop until they couldn't move. Either that or some miracle an agreement was met. Though that wasn't likely.

Both boys suddenly stopped and looked at her surprised. Alex let go of Connor then Alex let go of him both dropping to the ground. They looked over at her both beaten down and blood spilling onto the ground. "Rose, its not what going on is your fault. Far from it. It's ours," Alex panted before coughing and spitting blood onto the ground. He looked over at Connor who was standing up and wiping both their bloods off of him. He saluted Alex and then made a swipe with his hand and walked through a rip in the air. "You have questions, I have answers, and I'll answer any of them," he said honestly.

Alexander winced at her words and sighed. He slowly stood on his wobbly feet slowly and looked at her before slowly walking. "I'll go home as my house is closer, you can come with if you want," he offered gently before walking back home with dust falling off his body along with blood. After a while, he reached his large home he shared with himself before pushing it open. He winced as he pulled off his coat wincing as his burns pulled apart and wounds that were already slowly healing. He dropped the coat on the floor along with his shirt that was covered in blood and dirt. Alex sighed walking into the kitchen with a limp looking at the last bag and drank deeply from it before throwing it out and wiping it from his lips.
