Attacking head on hadn't worked. Aurian was quick to adjust. She waited for someone else to make a move on a bunny. They also failed, the bunny making a quick getaway. It hopped several feet away, then paused, looking around for a new target.

Now! Sneaking up from behind, Aurian quickly lowered her jar onto the distracted creature.

Still not good enough. And was the dust bunny making a mocking noise as it fled from her failed trap?

"Alright," Aurian growled. The glow from her red eyes grew stronger. "No more Miss Nice Reaper."

Danny wasn't quite ready to move from her desk yet. She was busy testing the water with her feet. Just her toes at first, but later her whole shoe. And then part of her shins.

Yup, it still had that gross slimy feeling. No way she was going to spend the whole class in that. She was going to walk over the desks, that was the plan. No water for her, enchanted or not.

Looking up, her spirit slightly renewed by her own resolve, she said, "Riri, could you get me a jar please?" The reaper boil would do it for her? Right? RIGHT?

While still on her a** on the floor, Pepin looked over to see her newfound library friend Mitsu had successfully caught a dust bunny as well. The ghoul frowned and looked down to her boots as she clicked them together. "Maybe I should... take these off?"

Pepin reached down and removed her boots, setting them aside by one of the classroom cabinets then proceeded to go for another glass jar, stepping on the glass one she broke without a care in the world then rushing back out onto the classroom floor to try and snatch one.

"MNnnn PEPIN THREW GLASS JAR-"

Watching the dust bunny struggle underneath the glass she sneered devilishly. "Wild Dust Bunny was caught!"

Spying a fleeing dust bunny, Aurian tried for a better trap this time. She grabbed a chair lying on its side - a dust bunny victim, no doubt. She moved it in front of the bouncing bunny.

The bunny swerved, avoiding the obstacle. It continued to flee.

Aurian gave chase. It was so on.

While he waited for a reply from the professor, Jericho just busied himself with seeing if he could snatch up some fluff. He really did wish he could do away with these rather than trying to capture them. They didn't really seem all that useful and all.

Narrowing his eyes, he struck down with the jar in hopes of ensaring one with it.

It apparently wasn't a very good tactic. Hm.

Lidding the jar in the meantime, Shun glanced to the side to see that Mitsu had snagged one as well. Xiu wasn't quite so lucky it appeared. Nodding lightly, he stared down at the floor, quietly watching.

He tried to wait before his arm shot out to try and snatch up another fluff.

With the dust bunny within his grasp, the Reaper shoved it haphazarously into the jar.

Mot had succeeded with one fluff caught. He tightened the lid on that jar and left it on his de--- oh his desk was gone. His shadowy gaze moved toward the back of the room, where it had somehow been tossed by the hoard of mentally unstable dust bunnies.

Troubling. Where was he to put his jar? Mot slid it into the pocket of his coat for now. It was heavy and bulky now, but what else could he do?

The leather clad reaper took leisurely strides back to a shelf, ducking to avoid a flying bunny on the way. The ordeal seemed to be more of a pain than something to panic over. That was odd for him.

Another jar was taken. Mot turned to find another fluff to capture. He saw one with its back turned. Mot creeped up behind it, and took a swing at it with the jar.

No luck. It flew off the desk and skittered away.  

[Inu-Mitsu]

Looking over it seemed Shun had managed to capture one as well. What were they supposed to do with them afterwards she wondered? Looking around the room Mitsu tried to take in what the other students were doing. It seemed a few were having fairly good luck. Pepin had caught one too!

"W..what do you think we will be doing with these?" Mitsu asked curiously to no one in particular as she looked around for another dust bunny to catch.

This time Mitsu was not nearly as successful with her capture. The dust bunny merely flitted away from the jar avoiding its entrapment.

The bunny wasn't getting away from her!

" 'Scuse me. Outta the way. Coming through," she said as she darted and weaved around other students, all caught up in the same task. Some of her manner remained, though clearly not the insanely polite ones from before. All that mattered now was catching the bunnies. Aurian was not going to fail this class on account of such small, destructive things.

Another launch with the jar. Another failure.

Aurian wiped excess dust off her cheek as she rose back to her feet. The chase continued.

Maybe Jericho shouldn't have asked if they could get rid of the dust bunnies. Perhaps they were afraid of him now and were avoiding him more than the other students because of it.

Frowning at that thought, he let out a sigh and reached down to try and grab another. The bunny moved away before he could grab it.

"Your guess is as good as mine," Shun replied while keeping his eyes trained onto the dust bunnies, "They don't seem particularly harmful... just... obnoxious."

He watched as one was trying to shove around a chair. Waiting for it to move away, he lunged out to try and pluck it from the ground. However, the bunny decided to skitter away under the chair where he couldn't easily reach it.

Any further conversation had pretty much died for the moment as the teacher continued on and then gave them their task to do in the class. She sucked in an unneeded breath as she stood up and wandered forward to collect a jar to make an attempt. She felt something fuzzy brush against her bare foot while she carefully tried to make sure other students weren't near her. She didn't want to accidentally skewer someone when she made her attempt.

Ducking down she tried to snatch up the dust bunny that brushed her and ended up missing it due to poor vision. She pouted a little. That was very unfair. Damn sight based trickery.

Pepin grunted as she took her capsuled dust bunny to her desk to get another jar and shrugged to Mitsu.

"Making me some jack damned slippers. My boots are too cool for this floor. Did you see me biff it?" she laughed as she nearly slipped once more with the glass jar in hand. "Come eeeeeeeere dust bunny... come to Pepin.. I'll let you snuggle between my breasts when we're done, how does that sound? Does the little dust bunny like that?"

Just as she'd said something a dust bunny lept from one of the counters and landed perfectly in her bossom, the data moshing tickling it in its new nook. "Alright I got you now little s**t..." she grinned, her face towering about it darkly.

Just before the bunny could escape she scooped it into the jar and slammed the lid, giving it a couple kissy faces. "Good job stoops," she smirked and set the jar next to her other captured one.

Mot sighed in discontent. This one got away. He didn't feel the need to capture that one in particular, so he decided to go after a different one. Perhaps a fat and lazy fluff?

Luckily, he found one such dust bunny, breathing heavily as it dragged its fat and fluffy tummy around the floor, its dusty matted coverings getting soggy from the pools of water it slid through.

Easy pickings, he thought.

Mot crouched down to snag the bunny, only to have it launch itself at the boils face angrily.

"SWEET MOTHER OF IEHIHWEOUSHRW"  

[Inu-Mitsu]

The dust bunnies were coming in from all sides now. It seemed they were rather destructive little creatures. Where did the under the bed lead anyway? To a dusty alternate dimension? There was so many of these little creatures Mitsu wasn't sure it was going to end well for the class.

"S..slippers? This is what slippers are made of?" Mitsu asked Pepin staring at the dust bunny in her jar. It kept ramming against the side as if trying to escape. At least Shun was right though. They weren't so much dangerous as...bothersome.

Leaning down Mitsu tried to scoop up another dust bunny but just as soon as she had opened her jar she let out a violent sneeze sending the dust bunny flying away and far away from her open jar. Drat. With a light sniffle Mitsu stood again her nose now itchy.

This was getting ridiculous. How were the other students managing to do this? Aurian looked around for some tips. Most people seemed to be having just as much trouble as she was - though less chasing. Maybe that wasn't helping, she realised.

Still, there had to be something she could do to stop missing.

Oh, these things were tricky to catch! It seemed as if a few of the students were having great luck, while the others were chasing after particularly speedy and elusive dust bunnies. As for Xiu...well, she had her single, lonesome dust bunny sitting in her jar. She should probably continue trying to catch some more, shouldn't she? With the whole class working, hopefully they would manage to clear out all the little creatures soon.

Noting that one that was nearby, the Baku sneaked a little closer, one hand outstretched as she readied herself to pounce. Careful, careful...

Ah ha, success! The dust bunny was put into the jar with the other one she had caught. "There you go, now you have a friend!"
