"Oh? Why do you want me to stay? It's only been about two days," Ark said, paying no mind to the question about food.

"I like having someone to come home to. I'm not lonely anymore," Nezumi said blushing slightly, breaking eye contact to look at the cup in his hands.

"Mmm. But what if we don't get along?" Ark asked. Realizing it was probably a poor time to be so negative, he tried to lighten the mood by adding, "Or, you know, you could be so overcome with lust for me, it'll make things awkward." Ark gave Nezumi what he hoped was a seductive grin.

Nezumi blushed glancing up at Ark slightly, "Y-yeh I guess it would..." He didn't pay anymind to what was first said, knowing it was true that they may not get along.

Ark laughed. "Funny you say that, instead of denying such a thing could happen. Have any confessions you'd like to make?" he asked. He took a quick glance at his watch, making sure he still had a bit of time before he had to leave.

Nezumi didn't reply he just stuck his tongue out at Ark like when they first met. "What time do you have to leave for work?" he asked trying to remove the blush from his face.

Ark smiled again, enjoying getting a reaction out of Nezumi. "Oh, I have plenty of time, don't worry about that," he said. "So, what is it you need to get off your chest?"

Nezumi just stuck his tongue out at Ark again with a grin on his face. "What would I have to get off my chest?" he asked in a much better mood now.

"Whatever secret feelings you may have for certain highly attractive blonde men. That are currently in your house," said Ark. "You know, the usual."

"Oh, don't worry about minor details like that. Better out than in," Ark said. "If it applies to vomit it probably applies to emotions. I learned this in nursing school, it's fact," he said with a grin.

Nezumi blushed and looked back down at his coffee. "And if I did?" he asked not looking up. He didn't want to make Ark wanna leave, he'd be alone again.

Ark stopped smiling. "Who knows?" he said, "I wouldn't be angry, if that's what you're thinking. Or are you thinking something else?"

"I'm not easily scared," Ark said, "You shouldn't worry about things like that. I handle things just fine." Ark looked off to the side and then added under his breath, "Well, most of the time."
