 --Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia heard his comment without looking up from her food and laughed a little bit. Despite the overwhelming amount of questions and thoughts on her mind, she kept surprisingly quiet, focusing on eating before anything else. Thankfully to her, Danielle didn't bother engaging in conversation with anyone else, seemingly too hungry to care about her surroundings. When they both finished eating, Danielle spoke finally with a small smile, leaning back in her chair. "That was sooo good. I think I have a serious food baby now." Delia looked at her flat stomach with a raised eyebrow. "How far along are you?" she asked sarcastically, unable to hide her teasing grin. The blonde nudged her with her foot under the table but laughed anyway. Her ocean-blue eyes darted from Delia to Jac, then back to Delia with a curious glitter she didn't quite recognize. "So, um, what do you want to do now, De?" Delia thought for a moment, resting her chin in the palm of her hand. "I dunno..." She turned to Jac and smiled a bit. "What are your plans for the rest of the day, Jac?"---

Jac sat and let the two eat in silence. The ache in his side was not so bad after resting a bit, and he had decided not to worry about the bank account and groceries just yet. He had a nice big lunch, and Mog could fend for himself for a few days. There was the other problem. What to do with Mog? He pushed that aside when he was spoken to. "I dunno. Go home and take a shower. That's about it. Not sure what else there is to do around here." Not looking forward to sitting in a motel room for the rest of the day, he thought. "What's playing at the theater?"

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia was silent for a moment, thinking. It was still rather warm enough to go to the beach, but she felt it would probably be a better idea to go with Danielle another time on their own. Her face brightened at his question. "There's a theater here?"Danielle barked a laugh and buried her face in her palm, shaking her head. "Girl, you really are oblivious, aren't ya?" she remarked, giving Delia a fresh rosy blush. She sighed and looked at Jac. "Something called Darkened Dawn, a foreign movie of some sort, probably Twilight, and then a couple action movies I think. If we're lucky, The Avengers might be playing." She grinned in an eager, sort of evil way, as if she was waiting for them to be surprised that she even liked such a movie. Delia just smiled and shrugged, finding a mutuality somewhere in between. --- Kiyiya Sakura sorry it took me a while to reply...lots of schoolwork and whatnot.

Jac had to chuckle at Delia's comment. "Of course there's a theater here. What city doesn't?" At the list the roommate verbalized, Jac thought briefly about it and decided the Avengers seemed like the best bet. "I haven't seen The Avengers." he said. Honestly, he could not remember the last time he had even seen a movie on the big screen. It had to be when he was still in high school. He looked at the girls, "Sound good?" He asked then sipped the last of his soda and stood to go for a refill while the ladies talked it over. He needed another dose of those pain meds before hand though, his side reminding him to move slow as he refilled his drink.
He returned, but did not sit. "Are we decided?"

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia felt her face grow warm, but she couldn't figure out why. It wasn't like she was embarrassed or anything.. right? As he went to go refill his cup, her eyes flicked to meet Danielle's, who had just shoved her shoulder teasingly. Delia rolled her eyes. "So how about it?" the blonde asked, bouncing up and down like an excited small child. "Um, the movie sounds fine. I've already seen it, but it couldn't hurt to--""I don't mean the movie, stupid. I mean you and Jason." "Jac," Delia corrected her, rolling her eyes. "I don't know what you mean, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me stupid." She hadn't meant to sound so snippy, but it wasn't her fault that her friend was a complete ditz. "Geez, sorry. But if you want me to leave, I totally will." "No, no it's f---" Delia looked up at Jac as he returned and nodded. "Yup, sounds good." she replied with a nod, grabbing her bag. --- Kiyiya Sakura bit of writers block, sorry...

Jac wondered briefly about the short conversation that apparently happened when he was away, but did not think on it much. "Okay, well I guess I'll meet you two there. I only have a bike, or I'd offer a ride." he said with a shrug. He rolled his shoulders, loosening them up after the day of work he just endured. "I gotta head home real quick to clean up first but I'll be there." He subconsciously put his hand on his stitches lightly as it tinged.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Danielle shrugged and nodded. "Fine with me," she said to Jac, then added to Delia, "I'm gonna go to the bathroom before we leave, 'kay?" Delia laughed a little and nodded. Her friend went to go find the bathroom in the back of the shop, and Delia turned back to Jac, the smile falling from her face when she saw his hand trail over the stitches. She bit her lip, looking him over with concern. "Do you need anything? I have painkillers in my bag, and a first aid kit..." she trailed off, rummaging through her purse and taking out the little bottle of pills to show him. ---

Jac was about to make his way to the door when Delia spoke. He thought a moment and decided pain killers were a good idea at the moment. "I'll take some of those painkillers, but other than that, I should be fine. I can clean up at the motel." He held his hand open for the pills and wondered if Mog would be there now, or if the dope had gotten lost. "Thanks." He mumbled when she had given him the pills, popping them into his mouth and taking a sip of his drink to wash them down. "So the Avengers, that's with like, Spiderman and the Hulk and Iron man right? Or wait..." He thought back to the commercials he had seen, realizing Spiderman did not pop up. "Or something like that right?"

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia handed him two of the pills, still biting her lip nervously as he took them. She wasn't sure why she was so worried; there wasn't much to be worried about anymore, was there? She exhaled, the worry drifting from her face and being replaced with a smile when he tried figuring out what the Avengers was about. She covered her mouth when she giggled, as if trying to hide her smile. "Something like that," she replied with a nod. "I'm sure it'll be awesome." The truth was, she had already seen the Avengers at least five times, but she loved it so much she was willing to go see it again with a couple friends. ---

Jac felt his face flush when he figured out how ignorant he sounded in regards to the Marvel movie. "Yeah, awesome." He agreed. "So... I have your number, and I think I get internet on my phone, so when I get to the room, I'll look up show times and text them to you, yeah? And we can plan from there?" He pulled out his phone to check and make sure he did have internet access. He did. He nodded, shoving his phone back in his pocked and pulling his keys put instead.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia watched him carefully for a minute as he planned out how everything would work. She wanted to say "sounds good", but part of her felt like it would be silly to have him tag along. Did he really want to hang out with them or was he just bored? "Okay, but..." She lowered her voice. "You don't have to come with us if you don't want. I mean, I wouldn't blame you if you didn't wanna waste your time--" She was interrupted by Danielle scooting her way next to Delia like a small, giddy child. The blonde was grinning from ear to ear, but Delia wasn't sure why. "Ready?" she asked. She'd pulled her hair up into a messy bun so that strands fell disheveled at the sides of her face. Delia looked at her, then back at Jac and nodded. "Yup," she replied, the smile returning to her face as well as the color in her face. ---

Jac was a bit confused as to what would make Delia think he was wasting his time. It was true, he was bored, but he would be wasting his time more just sitting at the motel. At least this way, he was seeing more of the city. He was going to state this, but Danielle came back, so he revised his words, not wanting to give the nosy roommate something to bug Delia with. "It's fine. I'll meet you there? or at the college?" he put his helmet on.

Her friend nodded in agreement at her side, clearly eager to have the best time she could with these two. Delia threw her a sideways glance that was meant as more of a warning to calm down, but Danielle was practically bouncing up and down on her toes. "See you then," the blonde chimed in, wiggling her fingers in a wave to Jac. Delia sighed again and buried her face into the palm of her hand for a moment to hide the incessant blush. --- Kiyiya Sakura mersh... sorry, writers block and whatnot. >.>

"Alright, see you there." He waved them good-bye and left, straddling his bike and turning the key. the bike rumbled to life and he backed out of the parking space, riding off to clean himself up and get ready for the show.
At the room, she peeled his shirt off and tossed it in the bathroom while he pulled his phone out. He check the nearest theater and the listed showtimes, then sent the info to Delia.

4:20, 5:00, and 7:15
What time is best for you?
He sent it, then saw that it was approaching three o'clock. He set his phone down and went into the bathroom to shower.

--Dℯℓiα S℘riηℊstℯℯη--Delia watched Jac leave, a crease reappearing between her eyebrows. Danielle looked at her with pursed lips, which parted when she broke out into fits of giggles. "What?" Delia asked, snapping out of her trance and looking at her friend in annoyance. "You just look so worried. Stop worrying. We're gonna have some fun tonight, one last summer hoorah, mkay?" Delia hesitated to reply, unsure of what exactly Danielle considered "fun". After all, she was happy to have a moment to relax and watch a good movie, but she wasn't looking forward to Dani breathing down her neck half the time about how attractive she thought Jac was. Wait... why was she worried so much about that anyway? Don't be ridiculous, she thought to herself furiously as the two girls began their afternoon stroll. When Delia's phone buzzed in her pocket, she slid it out and checked it, nodding in confirmation to Danielle's flood of questions. "4:20, 5:00 or 7:15?"Danielle paused for a moment in what looked like thoughtful consideration then replied giddily, "7:15." Delia bit her lip, running her thumbs over the keypad. "Are you sure? Won't it be really late once it's over?"The blonde stared her in the eye for a moment before snatching the phone out of her hand and responding: 7:15 sounds good. x "Don't be a wet blanket, De. Nine o' clock is not 'late' in anybody's book, let alone mine." Delia grabbed the phone back just as quickly as it had been taken away from her, her chocolate brown eyes narrowed in irritation. "Fine. 7:15's fine." Why am I so anxious? It's a movie for heaven's sake, not some grand formal ball with flouncy dresses and high class dining.
