[RAID] Attack on Rocket

Well, no time to hang around then. "Viktor! зевать, что одна!" No sense letting more into the fray if it could be helped, and no sense letting them know what orders he was giving ahead of time either.

Nodding to his trainer Viktor bounded towards one of the grunts that hadn't yet released pokemon (Rocket 6 (Grunt ♀)) and Yawned at her.

Teazer meanwhile took her own cue, and glanced meaningfully at Luna who gave her a Helping Hand. Once charged up the dark type stretched and then sprang at the Starmie with Faint Attack.

More or less at the same time Zla reappeared and launched a Toxic at the Leavanny.

Moriko vanished as soon as Lin was close enough, but the boy kept walking forwards.

He chose a target, who happened to be Rocket 2, and pointed toward him with his right hand; the index finger crossing the middle.
Jeeves recognised the command for Wrap and hopped from his trainer's shoulder, hoping to carry out the instruction to attack the human.

Andre cocked his head slightly as the Steelix blocked his view of the two higher ranked Rockets. Obviously they were going to try to save those two for last.

A change of plan then.

"Velencia, use Confusion on the Nidorino." (Rocket 3) Andre instructed. The Espeon let out a put upon sigh but leaped down from her trainer's shoulders to do as told. She nimbly darted forward in a zigzagging motion as a purple aura surrounded the Nidorino. With Velencia doing her job, the trainer turned his attention to the sky. "Fraener! Engage the Leavanny with Ember!" (Rocket 5) He shouted, the Charizard's pokeball clutched in his hand if it decided to rebel. He doubted it would, not with the threat he'd given, but you couldn't be too careful. The dragon pokemon let loose a menacing growl as he swooped down on his target and released his attack.

A man and a girl in gray uniforms (2 and 4) as well as a red-clad individual likely in his mid teens (6) took the cue of their superiors as well, moving into position to defend the man still working on the car.

[Lin]
One of the grunt pair (2) released a Rapidash, a Servine, and a Pineco, the pokemon fanning out as if they valued their trainer more than the individual he was protecting. The Rapidash took point against the oncoming Wrap, looking offended at the grass-type's audacity as it countered with Ember.

[Dith]
The other (6) let out only two, an Ekans and a Delibird, as an Espeon started towards her, backing away to have her pokemon take the brunt of the Yawn. The Ekans grudgingly did so, shaking its head drowsily before striking back with an Acid.

The trainee (4), trembling slightly, sent out his Cubchoo and Eevee, each glancing around the battlefield naively.

Viktor hissed in pain at the acid attack and threw a Psychic at the Ekans in retaliation.

Dith scowled and moved over to Petra. "That man repairing the car, we need to stop him?" Their own was on the other side of the chasm now, if the Rockets managed to get the car going and take off not all of them would be able to keep up.

Ohgodfire! Lin's eyes widened and he took half a step back as Jeeve's was suddenly facing off against Rocket 2's Rapidash.
This was not good.
With Moriko down, if Jeeves was knocked out, that only left one pokémon on his team and he was pretty sure that Gregson would not be all that useful...

Jeeves hissed in pain, and surprise, as he felt the Ember. He had been worried that Lin had been unfocused on things, or too focused on one thing, and this seemed to be an outcome of some bad thinking, or non-thinking...
Fire types were frightening... but he had to do his best. He had never won against a fire type, however.

"Uh.. s**t. Leaf Tornado!" Lin uttered, in a bit of a panic; he'd stopped moving forward. The Rapidash was enough of a problem; he didn't know what to do about the Servine and the Pineco at all.

[Rocket 3]

Unwilling to risk dividing his attention in the midst of battle, Luke recalled his fallen Aggron into its ball rather than revive it immediately. More and more pokemon were being summoned, a turn of events that directly contradicted their goal. Defeating their teams wasn't necessary; they were here to make arrests. The first pokemon called to Luke's side was Rem, the Jolteon quickly assessing the situation and hopping spritely from foot to foot in anticipation. "We're not here to battle normally," Luke warned, crouching down to speak to the electric-type better without taking his eyes off of the unfolding battle. "We're trying to disable the trainers. Are you in range for a Thunder Wave?"

Rem wasn't sure of the answer to that question but was willing to try and find out. She called down a paralyzing bolt of electricity in the woman's vicinity.

As the other launche into attack, Dove circled te group on Thoerry then dropped to the ground, fixing aurora up yet again then backed away, watching as the arcanine rose again and growled deeply, her eyes scanning the battlefield before her trainer called or her. "Aurora, get them away from the van."

Obligingly, the arcanine charged forward in an ExtremeSpeed, aiming for whatever got in her way as she charged at the van and the rockets around it (2,4,6). Her aim switched, however, and she aimed for the rapidash instead.

Aurora sent off, Dove turned to Sparky, then the trembling cubchoo and eevee, her heart sinking. "Sparky, take them out..." with a nod, the typhlosion sent a flame throwing in their direction without hesitation.

When the Raichu started to sing, the Agent (Rocket 5) quickly covered his ears with his hands and started humming to himself, effectively drowning out the Raichu's song, to prevent himself from being subjected to its effects. His Starmie suddenly found itself being sprayed by a Sand Attack by a shiny little Eevee, followed shortly after by a powerful Faint Attack. With an annoyed hum, the star-shaped pokemon aimed a Bubblebeam at both Astal and Teazer. The Leavanny had no time to be distressed over its comrade as it suddenly found itself covered in Toxic and badly poisoned. How dare he! With a huff, it shot a Razor Leaf at Zla. No sooner had the leaves rushed towards their target than the poor Leavanny found itself stumbling forward after being struck by an Ember from a Charizard. "Leeeaaa!"

The Dodrio stumbled back a bit at Repede's attack, allowing itself to be hit so its target would be close and it'd have a better chance to successfully retaliate with Fury Attack. Meanwhile, the Nidorino was too busy focusing on its teammate to notice the Confusion attack until it was too late, and with a sharp cry it shook its head. With a growl, he charged forward towards Velencia, his horn brandished in preparation for a Horn Attack. Their trainer (Rocket 3), meanwhile, was scanning the area with a great deal of hesitance and trepidation, and with both of her pokemon being attacked, she loosed another - a Dunsparce. Before she could give it a command, though, a sudden Thunder Wave struck her, and the woman collapsed with a cry. The Dunsparce looked alarmed at this sudden development, and with an angered expression aimed at Rem, it suddenly dove underground as the Hippopotas had done previously.

The Croagunk stumbled backwards quite a bit at the Steel Wing attack, before it retaliated against Perdy with a Sucker Punch. Its trainer (Rocket 1) yelped as a Lopunny descended upon him, but he quickly pulled out a pokeball and released a Purugly. The large feline blinked and looked around a little before suddenly being subjected to a Dizzy Punch, and with a sharp cry it shook its head. Luckily it wasn't left confused, and instead growled as it shot out its claws in a Fury Swipes attack at Pop.

[Dith]
The Ekans recoiled painfully from the super-effective Psychic, its body relaxing suddenly as the Yawn previously used took its toll. However, the snake was immediately alert again as its Shed Skin ability allowed it to shake free of slumber, and the Ekans inhaled deeply, drawing in a huge volume of sand in a demonstration of Stockpile.

Petra, her eyes on the four-way battle between herself, Alder, and the Elites, spared a scrutinizing glance at the man in question at Dith's suggestion. "Most likely," she determined. "They're certainly not protecting him for no reason. If you can, make him a priority."

[Lin]
The Rapidash shook its head cheekily at the Leaf Tornado, feeling the sting of the attack but putting on a show of being unfazed. Leaving its two companions to stand at its trainer's side, the fire-type jumped forward and reared back suddenly to fall down in a Stomp.

[Dove]
The oncoming Arcanine would be impeded by a sudden Pineco to the face sacrificing itself in a Selfdestruct.

The quivering little Cubchoo bravely stood up to the Typhlosion, eyes glistening fearfully, and gave itself the brunt of the attack, surviving it only through the grace of Endure.

Once within range, Sera recalled Luna back to her ball, instead focusing on what pokemon she did have out at the moment. Giselle stayed by her for the moment, while Isabella and Jacques stayed outside the edge of battle, for now powering up their attack - Isabella with Swords Dance, and Jacques with Hone Claw.

[Rockets 3 and 5]

As the Starmie shot forth a Bubblebeam attack, Astal only narrowly managed to evade it thanks to the water type's lowered accuracy. But there was no telling how long he'd manage to stay lucky. Thus the Eevee growled and whirled around before leaping at the large spikey thing to Bite it. Somewhere.

Repede though was not so fortunate. The Fury Attack from the Dodrio's beak striking him not three, not four, bit five times. Sending the Growlithe tumbling. Grimacing, Repede pulled himself back up and shook himself out before firing a Flame Burst at the bird Pokemon.

Yuri mean while, glanced over at Luke as he spoke to his Pokemon about doing a thunder wave. While his Pokemon might not have any debilitating attacks, perhaps he could at least distract. Tilting his blade to get the angle right, a bright beam of light glared from his swords blade in the direction of Rocket 5.

Teazer sneezed and snorted, stumbling back a bit and shaking herself to clear her head and vision. She wasn't about to give up on a winning formula, and so once powered with Helping Hand again she gave the Starmie another taste of Faint Attack.

Zla grumbled at the Razor Leaf attack; it wasn't very effective but it still stung! Well time to pay for that! Having already poisoned the Leavanny he prepared the follow up, a Venoshock double powered from the status condition and on top of a type advantage too. Zla had not got as old as he was by being a fool... admittedly he had died once but that had only been the one time and he was still around so he didn't feel it counted.

Dith nodded to Petra and whistled for Viktor. "На машине! Быстро!"

Viktor scowled as his target roused itself so quickly - so much for that tactic - and was about to just blast the snake with another psychic when he heard Dith's piercing whistle and following command. The one by the car? Alright then. Breaking away from his battle the psychic type did his best to work around to the man busying himself with the vehicle.

Andre let out a soft curse when he noticed that Velencia's attack didn't work, but barked out a quick command as the Nidorino charged. "Dodge and hit it with a Sand Attack!" He ordered Velencia, who narrowly avoided taking the full brunt of the attack but tumbled along the sand as the horn clipped her shoulder. She was back on her feet in a flash though, never one to stay down for long, and a swirl of sand came up to surround her target. Above him Fraener let out a loud roar as he swooped in for another attack on the Leavanny, this time choosing to use Air Slash. It looked like a few of the other trainers were trying to detain the Rocket members, but he didn't hold much interest in that. Perhaps if Velencia could get away he could confuse on of them, but he didn't put too much thought into it.

Rem was no stranger to Dig, having once known the move herself, and stood prancing in place, waiting for signs that the Dunsparce was about to strike. Once those signs appeared, she would flood herself with a blinding Flash.
