Byako Bath District ~The RP~

[Sou Jara]

There was a slight mechanical sound behind the tree wall as Nemo began to cut it down.

As he gradually noticed the sound, his swings became less and less powerful until eventually he had his axe resting on his shoulder, trying to discern the meaning behind this new development.

"What the hell is that?"

Then the sound of a spring being pulled on could be heard.

A musical tune could be heard through the streets, approaching the cities well known bath house. In the mist covered area, a figure was walking alone, strumming that tune which could be heard within an ear shot. And as that person strummed her fingers on the strings, she sang a soft song, which intertwined with the melody being played.

Soon the mist subsided, showing the figure's appearance. Standing before the entrance, was a woman, tan skin, long black hair. Sitting on her shoulder blade, was the instrument, but above her sat an umbrella. The item was very unique, as well as strange, which cause the girl may on lookers. But she only smiled, continued to strum her fingers upon the strings. As the song ended, the girl gripped the handle of her umbrella/instrument and looked at the large bathhouse. "This place is huge. Just like the old man said" The girl had recently arrived in Byako city and was told of this place. so deciding to check it out, she went on her way. And here she was. Closing her umbrella, she entered the bathhouse, making her way to the counter.

Awaiting Saira was a ghostly apiration sitting at the front counter. His body was made from some sort of that in other parts of the Bath House could have easily been mistaken for steam.
The only things that looked tangible about him was a simple paper mask that had a simplistic face painted on and a robe which had the Bath House and Jarian emblems sown into it.
"Welcome. How can we help you?"
The attendant asked politely as it studied the wandering beauty.
"Have you come four our spa treatment? Perhaps one of our natural or magical springs."

As she reached the counter, not seeing anyone, Saira was just about to call out, when she suddenly caught sight of something. Turning forward, a ghostly apparition appeared, greeting her. Normally something like this would spook a person but not Saira. So many things have crossed her sights during her travels, and something like this was nothing. And this spirit seemed very nice.

Giving it a smile, she placed a finger to her lips and thought. "Hmm....well I've just arrived in town, and was told about this place. So..." Saira turned her sights back upon the apparition. "What would you recommend?", she asked, while she repositioned her umbrella/instrument upon her shoulder.

He grumbled aloud, ignoring the strange sounds for now as he went back to his work, clearing the wooden barrier with his axe. He would need a clearer picture to determine just what exactly was going on.

The apiration held a sleeve up to its face, suggesting some sort of scratching motion as it silently considered the question.
"Perhaps you would care for the beauty treatment."
The attendant suggested.


As the first tree fell, a large metal arm perhaps a hundred feet could be seen with its arm stretched back. The tree fell into it and at the moment of contact, it swung downwards towards Nemo.
The arm seemed to come out of the ground and shined brightly in the light of the small clearing beyond the wall.

"What the-"

He dove aside as the large arm crashed down, almost crushing him. He rolled to his feet and brought his axe to bear.

"Aye, it's gonna be like that, eh'?"

Saira gazed upon the apparition as he floated there, thinking as well. Neither really mattered to her actually. So whatever the spirit came up with, she would do. And just as she thought it, the apparition gave her an answer. "Alright then. Let's do that", she smiled.

 

[Sou Jara]

The arm appeared to be made of a strange blend of metals, perhaps iron was part of its make up. Most of the arm was plated bronze with chunks of it broken off revealing the real metal make up.
The giant hand picked up the felled tree and using it like a club, attempted to smash Nemo.


"Very good. You can pay when you are finished."
Smiling, the apparition led Saira first to a massage parlour where a more solid bath attendant was there to greet her.
Directing Saira to disrobe and put on a towel, the attendant directed her to a massage bed which proceeded into an hour of massage therapy.

Once this was done, the apparition led Saira to a mud pool.
"The minerals inside of this contains magical properties that will sooth your skin, heal minor aches and injuries."
The ghostly bath attendant bowed and left, leaving her to soak.

Nemo tucked and roll to his right, avoiding the lumbering club as it crashed down where he had been. Regaining his footing quickly, he brought down his axe upon what he assumed to be the arm's wrist, using both his hands to ensure maximum power. The metallic alloy of the arm was no match for his superior dwarven weapon as it nearly cleaved through the machine's wrist.

"Take that, ye overgrown back-scratcher!"

Saira gave the apparition a nod and followed it. Soon she arrived at a massage parlor, where she was asked to disrobe. Understanding, she went behind curtain, untying her obi, allowing her kimono to fall to the floor. Grabbing a towel, she spotted, Saira wrapped herself and stepped out. Being directed to the bed, her massage began, ooh's and awe's emitting from her mouth. "This place is....great"

After wards, her clothes and items in her hands, the apparition escorted her to the mud pool. As the bath attendant told her about the bath and then dismissed himself, Saira gazed upon the pool, wondering if it was all indeed true. "I did hear good things about this place. And that massage..." An undeniable pleased expression crossed her face, her body felt extremely relaxed. Shaking it off, she gazed upon the pool again, and decided to give it a try. "Might as well." Removing her towel, Saira slipped herself into the pool, the mud making its way all over her. Sitting down, and relaxing, Saira began to feel a whole lot better. "Guess the ghost wasn't lying." Sitting back, she closed her eye's and relaxed.

 

[insane dark]

The femine creature walked up to the the large bathroom house, a Kabuki mask, painted with the lines of a kitsune, covered its face and was angled up to look at the overbarring building. The small frame trembled lightly inside of its deep red kimono and pale hands clasped themselves and wrung their fingers as it walked into the building. The figure seemed to shrink into itself, its long dark hair swinging behind it as it moved to the counter.

"A-ah. . . h-he-hell-hell-o?" Sayo asked in a small tinkering voice like clinking crystal.

The arm split off at the wrist from Nemo's mighty slice, leaving the hand on the ground as it began to desappear into the ground.
However this was not the end of the hand as it let go of the tree and crawled towards Nemo, attempting to crush him.


The regenerative properties of the mud bath were as great if not greater than the attendant said as the minerals worked wonders on her skin health.
Suddenly however, a trap door opened up under Saira as the contents of the bath including Saira were sent down what could be best described as a mud slide. Curving and curling and moving at odd angles.
It eventually ends at the edge of a pool that appears to be part of a natural hot spring.

The attendant appeared shortly after with her belongings, setting them in a cubby.
"Enjoy your soak."
It said with a bow before leaving again.


A ghostly appiration floated down the halls, meeting the kitsune and gaved a hurried bow, appearing out of breath despite its ghostly form.
"Welcome to the Jarian Bath. How may I be of service?"
