Flanys, City in the Snow

[Hiraru Sagara]

"Soft!" Alyxis shot off the seat, "I'll have you know I'm nothing but muscle!"  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"Alyxis...calm down. We're in public. I know you have muscle, I didn't mean you were soft. You're not weak." Pyne said in defense as he looked up at her.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Alyxis was blushing madly, "That's not what you said. You said 'it is soft.' That can only mean you think I'm getting fat."  

[Tall Italian Boy]

Pyne got up and tried to sit her down to get people from looking at her. "No, I didn't mean that sweetie. I promise." He said as he tried to calm her down.

Alyxis was still blushing, and she pulled away from him, "Then what did you mean? Soft is not a compliment!"

Pyne groaned softly. He wasn't sure what to do to in this type of situation.

Alyxis turned an even brighter shade of red, grabbed up her cost and stormed out.

Pyne got up and paid the bill. He walked after Alyxis and thought about what happened. "Why was she blushing?" He asked himself.

Alyxis hugged her coat to her body as she went deeper into town, she didn't even notice as it began to snow.

Pyne tried to find her and shouted for her. "Alyxis!"

Alyxis couldn't hear him over her own thoughts, and walked straight into the barrier of the ice rink in the middle of town. She didn't make a fool of herself but when she looked around she found Devin in the stands. She went over and brushed the snow that had gathered out of his hair. Pyne wouldn't have to look hard to find the siblings. Alyxis was siting close to her brother, listening to him talk as she tried to rub feeling back into his half frozen fingers.

Pyne decided to check the ice rink and found Alyxis with Devin. He walked over to them and sat down next to Alyxis.

Alyxis shot an unpleased look at Pyne.

"I loved her...so much..." Devin breathed. He didn't say anything for serval moments.

"I can't give you answer, De," Alyxis said gently, "Only offer you support, and remind you of what you do have."

The blond man looked at her, "And what do I have?"

"Blood in your veins, me at your back, talented hands, a loyal wolf to back you up, and the support of a pack." Alyxis said holding him.

Pyne nodded whenever Alyxis said about the pack. He wasn't sure how to make his approach with Devin.

 

[Hiraru Sagara]

Devin leaned into Alyxis the wolf taking great comfort in the alpha's mate being there. He sighed, "I'm tired, Al..."

Alyxis slipped the hotel key into Devin's pocket, "Go back to the hotel, take a shower and get warm. You'll feel better after that, then you can sleep." She stood and kissed his forehead, "I'll be back in a few hours with something hot for your dinner."
