"Relax," Gabriel sighed, getting in one of the vehicles. "I'll be fine."

"With STEIN!?" Zahzi asked, frantically against the window next to Gabriel.
"Think about that damned proposal he gave before we left!"

"Stein also told me years ago he'd make my hair even brighter. Has it gotten brighter?" Gabriel challenged as she looked dully at Zahzi.

"So let me get this straight." Zahzi told Gabriel.
"You've decided that because Stein made a passing comment, and that your brother is being as COOPERATIVE as usual, you're signing the experimentation of our children..?" he asked, staring back at her in the same way.
"Are you high?"

"No, actually." Gabriel sighed.
