Rahvine moved to stand beside Aura. "Yeah, it is. Who knows. Some of the buildings aren't in that bad of shape, maybe people will come back some day."

"Hopefully,it used to be so calm...we never saw the war reaching us....we thought the war would not reach a neutral town." Aura shook her head,"we ignored the whole thing and went on with life. Thats why we were so unprepare."

Aura looked up smiling sligthly,she rubbed the back of her head,"there is no point worrying about the past.What happened happened,and my parents wouldnt like me being stuck in a moment like that."

Rahvine nodded. "Yeah." Rahvine smiled at Aura then looked around. "So now what? I think the stairs are fixed enough you can go up upstairs if you want, but some of the boards should probably be replaced eventually."

"Our rooms are upstairs...."Aura blinked sligthly,she headed up the stairs though.
Fowler skipped on Rahvines head.

Rahvine stayed downstairs and tilted her head trying to see Fowler again. "What are you doing up there?"

Fowler just flied off and landed on her shoulder.
Aura was in what had been her room. It was still turned upside down from the SIN search. Aura rolled her eyes as she turned her desk chair upright. The bed was still there on a corner,and next to it a round window. Aura went over to look ou the window,she had always loved looking out the window and peeking at the forest,Mother's garden,and Suna's hill. she turned to open one of the drawers from the desk,but most of it was empty aside from a pen or two and a small notebook,similar to the blue one. It was brown and it had a golden lining.Aura tilted her head,could it be....? she slowly picked it up,and opened it. It had many sketches of swords,daggers,and all kinds of weapons. Back then they werent weapons to me but art pieces,most of these have intricates designs and things like that...

Rahvine glanced over at Fowler shaking her head, as she headed toward the door. "I'm going to see if there's anything intact enough for me to use for repairs at one of the destroyed buildings. Rahvine walked out of Aura's house and headed down the street toward the nearest ruined building.

Fowler followed after Rahvine flying just above her.
Aura closed the notebook,and put it in the desk again. She turned to her closet. Most of the thinhs in there were jeans,tee shirts,and working shoes. On one side though,there were a couple dresses,a few skirts, sandals,and more formal shoes. Aura chuckled sligthly,as she knelt and took out a pair of tiny shoes,her mother had made her keep them in the closet,after a few seconds she tucked away them again.

Rahvine reached the building and began digging through the rubble ocasionally pocketing a nail or screw that was in reasonable condition. She also pulled several semi intact boards, and and a door that was in need of patching, from the rubble. After a time Rahvine piled the boards on top of the door and carried the pile back to Aura's house.

Fowler had found a screw and was carrying it while flying after Rahvine.
Aura got out of her room,and after a moment hesitation,headed to her parents room,trying to ignore Suna's room.

Rahvine reached Aura's house and put down her load in front of it and began using the boards and nails she had found to patch the door.

Fowler dropped his screw it the pile. Then landed next to all the ruble

Aura stepped into her parents room opening it slowly,like she always did when they were still alive.She stepped inside,looking at the upturned room,it was still in better order than hers. The bed was in the center of the room,a big squared window right behind it,the evening sun sipping through some tattered blinds.

Rahvine continued working on the door for a while until she had patched it enough that it would hold together. Now to get it attached. Rahvine glanced up at the fading sunlight. And just in time too. Night is on it's way. Rahvine picked up the repaired door and carried it around the side of the house to where the missing back door had been and set to work keeping the door balanced on end long enough to screw the hinges to the doorway using her dagger.
((You're welcome. I just love seeing how he's helping Rahvine by carrying screws and stuff.))
