Aleta thinks to herslef.... I'm pushing myself too hard...I need rest before I can do anything. I wonder what happened to the demigods...and who is the victor of this holy war...if it was SIN, then we are all doomed to a future of opression. Okay, I'll sleep for now, but I need to get to what is left of the battlefield. I need a car to get there... The stairs look daunting, so she pulls herlef into a nearby cusioned booth, and rolls over on her back and tries to sleep. her wounds are painful to deal with, and yet she refuses to show weakness now. She is also happy to see the other girl, whose name she learned was June, is okay. we might need all the warriors we got...and her winged rat named vincent curls up near her neck, and she closes her eyes.

June sat up slowly and looked around. she saw Zero asleep on the chair next to her and sighed. noticing that all the shadows had been finally defeated, she stood up. Looking down at the newly patched up wounds and somehow having more energy, she walked past the sleeping Zero and to the fireplace, which only had cinders left in it. She knelt down by the pile of wood and tossed some in with a lit match, and watched the flames light up brightly. she stood up in front of the fire and watched it.

June didn't move, but watched the girl out of the corner of her eye. she said nothing as she watched the flames engulf the crisp wood.
