[The Wild Hunt]

The man walked into the office, and heaved a sigh... there were people, and lots of them. Talking. Bickering. So many people, but with no want for them there. He took off the hood of his cloak, and simply stood there, staring at the Hokage. "Hokage. Akira Nara. You probably don't recognize me; and I probably don't care. We haven't met. But look at the world around you, and tell me... did the endless cycle of war meet us once again? I believe so. I am here to make sure I am recognized as the leader of the allies. Grass, Leaf... and Castel del Brandere... we are to be the righteous team, the one who will trample all others in the war. And you will help us to do so, for it is best for your nation. But for us to win, I will need to be strong. And so, I ask of you... may I have the Celestial Gates scroll? Upon the war's end, leaf will still stand... and that is how I will repay you. This is not an order nor obligation... simply, a request." He looked around at the others, trying to ignore their senseless discussion. What in the world were they talking about?

Tavian watched as the unknown man spoke to the Hokage. He seemed familiar, but Tavian couldn't quite place his finger on it. When he spoke of Leaf still standing, Tavian let out a small chuckle. "Sorry." Tavian backed from out of the crossfire of the Castel newcomer and the Hokage. "Not to speak out of term, but how do you know Leaf won't be standing if you don't take this scroll? I'm just wondering, though."

He smiled, and said, "I don't. But it would do Leaf alot of good if it helped strengthen its allies, especially because you and Grass's councillors elected me as the leader of the armies for all three countries. So technically, Tavian, recent Chuunin thanks to my exams, you're my soldier as well. And technically, Akira is under obligation. But I will not force anyone to do anything -- this is simply a request, that I would not understand if denied." He began to wonder... why was this guy questioning him? Did his rank get to his head? Or was he oblivious, that without its allies, Leaf would fall? It could not stand alone... that was clear.

"I may be wrong, again, but it sounds like you think I'm getting cocky, just because I asked a question. No one said anything about your Chuunin Exams making me a Chuunin or anything like that. Before this conversation we just had, I kinda would have been fine with being your soldier. I remember when I was an academy student and I saw you roaming the village with your military gear, on. I used to think you were pretty cool, but now...It's kinda just normal, now." Tavian shook his head, as if he had dove in his brain, looking for some inspiration of the man, but found nothing.

Yasha surveyed the newcomer from head to toe. So this was the leader of Castel del Brandere. She could back out of this, she had never said anything about being his soldier, and she had not take the chuunin exams there. Though there had been a rumor about jounin exams there, she had not been invited. Thus, she didn't care for this man much. And she trusted Tavian in his judgement, if she didn't trust him with that, she should forfeit on this mission right away.
'' I guess he means it just sounds weird the way you're asking it. It sounds like, you need the scroll so Leaf won't fall. Gosh, that almost rhymes! Anyway, we have pretty fine shinobi's ourself and though you probably deserve lots and lots of respect, Leaf won't fall that easily, even if we're completely on our own, without allies. I am going to be punished for this, aren't I?'', Yasha concluded her very weird story.

Dante surveyed the scene with interest. Everything was black and white to him, there was no gray area. He concluded that Tavian and Yasha were right. They didn't need this man to protect their village, although he would certainly help. But Yasha was right, the leaf had very good shinobi in it's own village.

"Remember guys, he's only requesting, not demanding." Dante stated. He didn't necessarily like the newcomer, but figured that if he was only requesting for the scroll, to trust the hokage's judgement.

The man laughed, "Yes," as a white dove shot out from underneath his cloak, and lightly tapped her on the face with its talons, though not with the sharp part. It then flew back into the cloak, and he simply stated: "It's my messenger, don't look at me like that. Now Tavian, I was simply telling him it would be wise to let me have the scroll, I didn't mean to say Leaf's fall was assured. So my friend, forget about it, it's no big deal. I didn't assume you were getting cocky, mostly because I don't care if you were or not. I'm rather cocky myself, but I do not believe myself to be a hypocrite. You can dislike me. I don't care. You can hate me. I don't care. Such is what it is to be a leader, some people are fans... some people are groupies, and some people are haters. Can't please everyone." He then turned his head away from Tavian, basically to tell him: 'this conversation is over.' He was now, once again, looking at the Hokage, ignoring the person who thought that his opinion actually mattered.

"I don't hate you, at all. I feel nothing negative nor positive towards you. I simply asked a question and you started this whole speech about soldiers and war and how people feel about certain things people do and say. I just wanted a single sentence. Maybe not even that. But leave it to the Castel shinobi to drag something out." Tavian folded his arms at the annoyance he had towards Shane. He had nothing towards him, he just wasn't a fan, is all. "And you shouldn't allow birds to peck faces...It's not very polite of the bird or trainer."

'' Guys, can we pleas settle this. This discussion is going to the point when everyone gets angry and then there will no alliances left. I am sure Akira-sama doesn't want us to fight about such a little thing. Sure we don't need them, but they're quite handy. Now please, Tavian, let's go find Sedra and fill us in on that mission of yours. My heart is almost tearing itself apart because it's so excited to finally go on a mission and risk the beating of it. And I don't mind birds. You see, I can say something that sounds pretty plausible'', Yasha said, as she gently tugged Tavian's arm.

Yokai looked at the man who had walked in who apparently was the leader of Castel del Brandere. He then looked at Tavian and Yasha. "Leaf's been through a lot. I know this for a fact as I used to be a shinobi of Leaf, but i can say to you, without help, Konoha will fall." He looked at Akira saying, "I honestly think you should give him the scroll."

Dante looked at Yokai. " Leaf can defend itself. On top of that, it can defend itself well. We don't need allies, but it would be good to have them." He stated in his simple tone he usually used. But he was getting impatient. He didn't care one way or another on whether the man got the scroll, and just wanted to go on a damn mission.

"Yes, let's go find this Sedra. I'd like to leave on this mission sometime today." He said, looking at the group. It had gained in size, but he still didn't know virtually anybody here. That figured, as that's usually what happened when you do most of your training in the hidden mist village.

Yokai looked at Dante, "You may be saying that now, but leaf has been destroyed before. Are you going to let that happen again just because of your cockiness?"

He grinned, with a rather creepy expression, as he lightly began to laugh, turning to Tavian. "Heh." It was all he said, as he tried to keep himself from ripping his face off of his skull. Leave it to Castel shinobi to drag something out? Who the hell did he think he was. He then began to speak in a very serious voice, as his face began to look very dull. "If you don't want an in-depth answer, then don't ask me the question. If you think Leaf is invincible, then stop. Stop being a shinobi. Stop training. Go sit your a** down on a toilet and eat KFC. Leaf is invicible, so you'll be fine. Is that what you think? NOWHERE is invincible. NO PLACE is ever completely safe. An alliance with me is NEEDED. So I suggest you shut your mouth, find this little, "Sedra," and get to your mission. If you get hurt too badly, I'll be sure to give you a manual book on how to use that toilet, because that'll be your home." He said this, in a rather mean voice, because he found that this kid, was an a*****e. Usually, if Leaf wasn't an ally of Castel's, he'd be tearing out Tavian's insides. But sadly, he had to play nice, and act almost as if he was a good person.

Dante raised an eyebrow. "The leaf was weak then. And i'm not being cocky, merely stating the facts. We have strong shinobi here. While you all have a point that allies would help, it doesn't mean without allies the leaf is doomed to fall. It also doesn't mean that we are safe by ourselves. It also doesn't mean with allies, we won't fall. There is a chance of anything happening." He said, lowering his eyebrow to it's original position.

Yokai laughed, "Ha! Weak? I'd say that was when Leaf was at it's strongest. I don't deny the fact that Leaf is still strong, but do you believe that there aren't other villages as strong as you? And let me tell you that you are being cocky." He was wondering why this little genin was trying to fight. "Look kid, I doubt you've been through any wars, so you have no idea. I agree that allies won't solve everything, but it'll help. Would you like to raise the percentage of konoha prevailing in this war? Or do you wanna lower it instead? Learn your place kid."
