Date A Live, a light novel series with an anime currently airing. The protagonist, Shidou, is charged with getting a bunch of "Spirits" (who are, pretty much universally, pretty girls) to fall in love with him.
That's the normal harem action/romance/comedy stuff.
Unfortunately, there's the little detail that the Spirits are about as dangerous as the Angels from Evangelion, while being the next best thing to completely invincible on top of it... and just by showing up, there's the potential for them to kill lots of people. From, mostly, the giant impact craters. And that's before they start trying.
And this is Kurumi. o wo The first two spirits that showed up are, respectively, a tsundere and a little girl. Kurumi is a crazy killer (it helps fuel her powers) and isn't terribly repentant about her actions... and the protagonist didn't tame her at the end of her appearance arc, breaking the streak of wins. rofl Which is really rare for a harem series, actually, and kind of bad news for the world. Good stuff. ^^ Also, I like her character design and personality. And her arc is about to start in the anime!
