Damned Woods

Aquaria could tell that he was hiding something, and hoped Cassandra could see it too. She shook her head in response to his question. "No, I'm not really hungry," she said.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"You haven't eaten in a while. Let's go find you something," Garin said and coaxed her to start walking.  

[marixe alcyone]

"No, no, I'm fine," Aquaria protested. "Really, Garin, I'm not hungry."  

[Cecily D Aria]

"Okay, then I'll go find something for you," Garin replied and started to walk without her.

Aquaria ran to catch up to him. "It's fine," she said, grabbing his arm and trying to pull him back. "I don't need to eat."  

[Cecily D Aria]

Garin didn't stop, even as he started to drag her. "You just wait here, I'll get something."

"Garin, I could tell you wanted to ask Cassandra something else. What was it?" Aquaria asked as she ran to keep up with him.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"It's not important," Garin replied.  

[marixe alcyone]

"Please tell me," Aquaria whined. "I can ask her if you don't want to, so just tell me."  

[Cecily D Aria]

"I don't really want to hear her answer on that. Now please just let me go," garin repleied.

Aquaria saw that Garin wouldn't tell her, so she let go of him like he asked. Her arms dropped limply to her sides as she stared into the forest.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"I'll be back soon," Garin promised as he disappeared.

Aquaria watched Garin disappear. She knew he wouldn't leave her for long. She leaned against a tree and sang quietly to herself as she waited.

It took Garin a few minutes to returned to her. He offered to her a variety of wild berries he had found. he didn't want to tell her that he had gone hunting for something else as well.

"Mmm, thank you," Aquaria said when Garin returned. She took the berries and ate them quickly, the juice staining her pale hands.
