"Divinious is watching over her, is he not?"

"There is a difference between caring and parenting. Divinious is merely caring for her. He provides her with food and shelter, but none of his servants could ever be her parent, nor could he." Atella said, now staring down at Krom. "No other Gladiator will even come near her because of the connection you two share, and their irrational fear of you. The duty as parents has unfortunately fallen upon us."  

[Zahzi]

"And where do you come into this?"  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...No child should go without a mother." Atella said after looking away from Krom, and back to Riza's work.  

[Zahzi]

Krom gave a grunt, looking away again.
"Do what you want."  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"...Just keep in mind, Krom, I'm not trying to talk you into doing this for me... I'm trying to get you to do it for her..." Atella said, letting out a deep sigh.  

[Zahzi]

"If the child wanted it, I would." Krom said, before Riza looked over at him.
"..?"

Riza just nodded.

"..."

"...I think I found your answer." Atella said with a calm demeanor, though inside she was practically throwing a parade in celebration.  

[Zahzi]

Krom just stared at Atella...

"...You said if Riza desired it, you would agree. She desires you to act as her fatherly parent. However, if the problem is me being the motherly parent, I will leave if that is what she wishes as well." Atella said as she looked back down at Riza.

"Do you wish for me to stay?"  

[Zahzi]

Riza shook her head.

"Then I shall go." Atella said, nodding her head once before standing back up, and walking away from the two.  

[Zahzi]

Riza suddenly grabbed Atella's wrist.

Instantly, Atella stopped and looked down at Riza, slowly raising her eyebrow.

"...Yes Riza? You need something?"  

[Zahzi]

Riza began to pull her closer than where she was to begin with. The child didn't want her where she was, she wanted her to be nearer to Krom and her.
