Of Mavericks and Hunters. -OPEN AND ACCEPTING-

[Zahzi]

Hackx looked from Ginger to Edge with a grunt, two sets of claws extending from his hands.

"At LeAsT yOu ArE bEiNg CoMpLiAnT wItH yOuR dOoM." he told her, charging towards Edge.

"Not good, not good....."

 

[cptflint]

Steam ran after Edge, staying in stealth and as quiet as possible. He ran in the path of Hackx's charge and fired his emp caster with his left hand and hip firing his gun with the other.  

[Randomly Gone Insane]

"Shut up." Edge growled as Hackx though she never even glanced at him. Her eyes were locked onto the b*****d running off and giggling at her.

"You're unimportant, vermin," sawblades rolled in to her hands and were quickly tossed in the direction she had heard Hackx was at. Edge kept going on, swearing to herself she would not stop for any reason. There was no reason to stop on the internet.*

((*I write that as I read fanfics and browse memebase between posts...))

Hackx gave an irritated grow, being attacked and blindsided by both Steam and Edge, all the blows connecting due to the EMP blast.

Immediately afterward, he dematerialized and reappeared elsewhere, now focusing on causing multiple three creatures to appear in front of the group as Dozer and Tango moved out of the building.

"Oh just ******** me....." Tango groaned.

"Uhhhhh...No?" Dozer replied as two of the creatures charged at them.

"RHETORICAL, JACKASS!! NOW RUN!!" Tango barked back as they split up.

The third creature charged at, and began attacking Steam.

Steam fired his weapon at the one coming towards him, aiming for it's legs and moving away from it as he fired.

The shooting only seemed to make it mad, which was quite prevalent when it gave a mechanical roar and charged at Stream, its claws ready to cleave through the Hunter.

"WHY CAN'T WE EVER FIGHT A ******** DERANGED BUNNY!?" Dozer barked, as his began firing energy blasts from its hands.

Steam fired a blast of emp as the creature got within it's range then activated his jump pack just as it's claws came for him. Once he was in the air he fired his rifle down at it twice then activated his stealth systems as he approached the ground. There was a clear thud and clatter as he rolled across the ground, then silence.  

[Zahzi]

The EMP blast stunned the creature, and the attacks did an amount of damage, but not enough to either destroy or cripple it.
After a few seconds, the stunning wore off, and it began slamming at the ground, shockwaves going off in an attempt to find the hidden enemy.

Steam's stealth systems shut down from the disruption, to which he answered with his last Emp grenade and a barrage of fire from his weapon, aiming for joints in it's limbs.  

[Zahzi]

This time, the right arm disconnected from the attack, slamming onto the ground while the rest remained still from the EMP.

"Steam found the weakpoints, Dozer. Aim for the joints. JOINTS!" Tango yelled, watching Steam.

"WITH WHAT!?" Dozer replied, franticly dodging the Creature's attacks.

"YOU HAVE A GODDAMNED CANNON!!" Tango barked back, firing his rifle at his creature.

Steam continued firing at the newly discovered weak points. "cmon, cmon, cmon," he chanted. "Die..."  

[Zahzi]

As all three creatures charged at their targets, they all seemed to go down at the same relative time, giving a mechanical cry as they did.
Not even a few moments passed before three copies of Hackx then jumped from the corpses at the three.

"It never ends!"Dozer whined, reloading his cannon.

"Shut it and shoot!!" Tango barked, already firing upon his copy.

The copy gunning for Steam had its claws ready to cut through its target.

Steam activated his stealth systems and moved to the side, his steps not making a sound as he continued to move away in stealth mode.

The Hackx copy began searching around him frantically, looking for its target. It's very mannerisms showed it had no true intelligence, but only the instincts of a rabid animal.

interesting Steam said to himself. These things are like beasts, steam informed the others. out smarting them should be easy, he said to those on hunter communications. He would then look to the terrain around him as he bought time to fight the beast before him as he tried to find a way to defeat it.

Edge? he asked. you ok? how is that chaise going?
