 The manager of the volunteer programs sent out a message to us volunteers saying that one of our shelter veterinarians was looking for a Vet Data Entry volunteer to come in 1-2 times a week to do various data entry tasks. After looking over the brief overview of the position, I decided to volunteer for the position. I'll be getting my training on Tuesday.
It might be just another non-paying volunteer position... but at least I'll have another thing to add to my resume that looks good and I'll be able to utilize some skills I've acquired in the past. At least it'll strengthened some skills that could be used in future positions I'll apply for. *shrugs*
And here's to adding more hours to my count at the shelter.

So, one of my best friends just commented on the album of photos on Facebook that I have of my costume progress and she said that she's looking forward to seeing me at the convention. She doesn't get on the Internet that often - or social network sites, to be more exact - so I'm not too surprised by the late response.
But still... I'm going to actually know someone else who will be at the convention! I wonder if there's any events that I'm planning on going to that she'll be attending to. 'Cause that would be awesome if we got to hang out with each other.

1. What do you plan on doing with your life a decade from now?
In 10 years, I'll be 34. Hopefully I'll have a job and/or career by then... possibly have a family (whether its just a husband... or also a kid (or kids) in the picture). Hopefully I have accomplished quite a few of my dreams and goals by then.
2. Do you support abortion? Yes or No? Give your reasons.
No, unless under special circumstances (such as health of the mother/child).
3. Do you support euthanasia? Yes or No? Give your reasons.
As in terms of animals? No, I do not. That's why I'm so proud of the shelter I volunteer at and the other humane shelters in the area. We don't euthanise an animal unless they are suffering from a major health issue that they won't be able to bounce back from, no matter how TLC you provide. I believe every animal should have a chance of being in a loving home where they'll get the time and care they deserve. I don't think its right to eliminate an animal from the world simply because of lack of space or whatever.
4. Would you rather go back in time or remain where you are in terms of the time of your life?
I'll stay where I am.

I'm not in school right now.
