Damned Woods

Aman nodded and smiled. He lunged for Garin, but rather than attacking, he grabbed Aquaria's arm and pulled her away from the vampire.
Aquaria yelped in surprise and accidentally dropped Garin's arm. The next thing she knew, Aman was holding her against him like a shield.  

[Cecily D Aria]

Garin bared his teeth at Aman as he tried to keep him back from Aquaria and failed. "Let her go," he growled.

"Not on your life," Aman said. "She's too valuable."
Aquaria kicked and tried to free herself, but her brother was too strong.  

[Cecily D Aria]

"WHat do you want with her?" Garin demanded, walking a little closer to the two of them.  

[marixe alcyone]

"To finish what I started," Aman said simply. He backed away from Garin, holding Aquaria tight. He grabbed a dagger from his pocket and held it to the girl's throat.
Aquaria felt the cold steel against her throat and stopped struggling.
Sanvi had recovered from her shock and ran to back up Garin.

Garin crouched down and then lunged at Aman, grabbing at the knife to get it away from Aquaria's throat.

Aman twisted and avoided Garin's lunge. In one swift motion, he had begun running to where he had dropped his sword, Aquaria still his captive.
Sanvi looked to Garin. "What do we do now?" she asked. "He might try to seal me again if I go."

"well, we can't just let him get away," Garin replied and ran after him.

Aman had trained to get away from vampires. He looped back on himself to get to his camp before Garin reached him.
"He might seal you, too, Garin!" Sanvi called, trying to stop him. She had faced him before and knew that Aman would try to seal them both.

Garin stopped as Aman's scent seemed to disappear. "Where in the hell did they go?" he demanded.

Sanvi ran to catch up to Garin. "I don't know," she said. A tear fell down her cheek.
Aman set Aquaria down in the camp. He knew she was too scared to move, so he only tied her hands. He rummaged around in a bag and pulled out a vial of powder.
Aquaria couldn't think. She could only think about Garin, and fear.

Garin looked around in frustration, trying to catch their scent again.

At the camp, someone did find where Aman had taken Aquaria. The vampire silently stopped behind a tree and looked at what was there in the camp. She was surprised to see Aquaria there with no Garin. And she could tell what was going wasn't good. She ran towards Aquaria while Aman was distracted.

Sanvi sat helplessly on the ground.
Aquaria sat helplessly on the ground, her hands bound. She watched Aman and guessed that the powder was the lightsstone mineral.
Aman didn't hear the vampire approach and prepared to create a lightsstone for Aquaria with the powdered mineral. It would be better for him than immediately killing the traitor. He no longer thought of her as a sister.

Cassandra grabbed Aquaria up and then ran from the camp. She had been hunting, but now she figured she could get the angel somewhere safe and then return for the man who captured her.

Sanvi began tracking for Aman, with little luck.
Aquaria bit her lip to keep from screaming when someone picked her up and ran with her. Great, I'm being kidnapped again, she thought, not looking up. She had her eyes closed in fear.
Aman turned around. "You'll pay now, traitor," he growled before he saw that Aquaria was gone. "Where'd you run off to, sister?" he asked playfully.
