Wantcookie So, I'm reading Dante's Inferno for school, right? And I realized something. Some of the bosses from FFIV were named after demons from the Fifth Pouch of the Eighth Circle of Hell. The Four Fiends (Scarmiglione, Cagnazzo, Barbariccia, Rubicante) and Calcabrina, for starters. Oh wow. I knew it. Something just told me. My friend said something similar... I thought he was a crazy crazy man...

The one that's just the Four Fiends stitched together? Yeah, Geryon is the name of this giant beast that carries Dante and Virgil to the 8th Circle.
