[The More Assured]

Angelina followed the guard.
She looked around at the other guards, who looked somewhat confused. She then noticed a different face. A happy face.
A man was smirking.
Angelina wondered what he was smirking about, but soon forgot it, as she went inside with the guard.

The guard led Angelina to Rick.
Rick looked at the girl with a raised brow, "Searching for someone?" He questioned when the guard explained what was going on.

Angelina looked up at a new man. She hadn't seen him before, and he wasn't the one from the picture. A curious expression grew across her face as she examined the man.

Rick watched her for another few minutes before shrugging, "I'm sure we can use her for some experiment or another. Take her to the quarantine chambers. Keep Synthic company," He said and resumed his work.
The guard nodded and led Angelina out of the lab.

Drake shook his head. He would have hoped the girl would have put up some fight or something, so that he could have a little fun before he went on a journey to figure out just what the hell was going on. Oh well. The hyena man got on all fours and began bounding away from the establishment.

"Are they going to experiment on me?" She asked, a worried expression growing on her face. "I... I'm not an experiment!" She yelled, drigging out a gun from god knows where. She quickly shot the guard in the face, not pausing to look at the damage she'd caused, she quickly ran out, past some other guards.

Rick watched in amusement. The guards brought out specialized weapons that shot tranquilizer darts. They fired at the girl, keeping her in sight and following in case they missed. More guards were blocking the way as well.

Synthic stirred when she heard a commotion going on outside. The ex-scientist dragged herself to the front of the cage and gripped the bars for support.

"Over my dead body!" The girl yealled, dodging some weird lookign darts. She was skiled in combat, and had been trained by her uncle for many years. She kicked one of the guards in his face, feeling his nose crush under the sole of her marine blue shoe.
She ran behind a wall, noticing that a bolt had hit her. She quickly pulled it out, and cotinued running.

The darts all contain a drug that causes unconsciousness.
The guards continued to chase after the girl. They were not about to let her leave.
Rick watched what was going on and wondered if one of those demons from before would step in to help. He didn't give them the command, he figured the guards should be able to deal with this.

Angelina conrinued running, untill she hit the forrest. She ran through it for a while, not following any path. When she was sure that none of the guards were in her heals, she quickly climbed up a tree, and reloaded her gun, ready to defend herself if possible.
She climbed futher up, hiding behind the fresh green leaves, not brething for the fear that they would hear her.

The forest was riddled with different kinds of hidden traps in case an experiment or two managed to escape. Each trap contained small darts that might not even be noticeable when fired. Each dart had the capacity of knocking out a horse in seconds.
Climbing up a tree set one of those silent traps off. A dart shot at the girl from a branch behind her.

Angelina fell down, her head knocking a rock as she landed. A giant puddle of a dark red substance was growing bigger around her. Her face slowly losing the little colour she'd had.

The guards located the girl at last. They lifted her unconscious body up and bound her hands and feet together. Then they carried her back to the Academy, where they stripped her of her weaponry and put her in a cage next to Synthic.
Synthic looked at the girl sadly. Another fresh victim...She needed to bandage the girl's head. She reached over between the bars and pulled the girl closer. Then she ripped up a part of her labcoat and wrapped it gently around the girl's head.

Some Might Say...

Archereus yawned as he stepped back into the lab Rick was working in. "Looks like I just wasted my time." He spoke as he crouched in a corner of the room. "Other than her, need any help? You actually going to put any plans into motion?"

Angelina''s big brown eyes quickly opened, and she sat up, looking around at the place. "Oh great." She mumbled, and she quickly lokoed aroundin her pockets. They'd taken all her stuff, but not her tracking device. She quickly looked if the coast was clear, and then opened her mouth, and oulled out something that looked like a small tooth. She pushed a button on the device, and then put it back in her mouth.
She then turned to the woman next to her, with a serious look on her face. "How do we get out of here?" She asked, "Before I get three more ears or something?"
