L grinned wide watching his student. It took a good bit of will power not to outright laugh when he began flailing his arms around. "Oh i know i know, this will just make sure such things dont happen in the future. Now, despite what you think and have felt before becoming a heralds element is our most powerfull technique. It is the very symbol of what we each our and displays a mastery of said element. Once you've mastered this all other techniques are a simple matter of time and imagination. Now...you are on the right track with emotion but poor display of it." L's grin widened if only slightly. "A herald's true abillity lies in their control of first themselves...thus try and temper all your emotions, either work them in unison or not at all. To fully envelop become light all of you must be in light. Anger, joy, sorrow, all of it or none of it. Though personally i'd use all emotions as useing none is a tad more taxing...Soooo." The light man stepped back a few steps before his body eroded into pure light then grew to 20 ft tall. His body devoid of normal human features save his two strange eyes. "Now that i've given you the little tip your new goal is to match my height. Ohhh and please do remember control....should you fail well....just dont ok?" Though the light giant no longer had a mouth the smile was evident in the glowing eyes.

Cecilia looked at the owl sitting across from her with understanding. "At least there are people in this world who are understanding of us. Not everyone is prejudice towards our kind. Try to focus on that to ease your annoyance," she said before perusing the menu. "Um...I'll probably get the traditional pancake breakfast. I haven't had pancakes in so long. I'm also in need of some steaming coffee as well. I'm still feeling just a little sluggish." She closed her menu and began to speak once again, but a small boy of about five years old walked over towards their table and tugged lightly on Roulin's jacket. "Excuse me, Mr. but you have something on the back of your head," he said pointing at something that was on the back of Roulin's head. Cecilia frowned and stood up at the child's words and walked around the table in an act that she was going to the restroom, but glanced at the back of Roulin's head. Sure enough, barely visible in Roulin's slicked back strands of hair was what appeared to be a black furball. Grimacing, she discreetly reached forward and plucked the object from Roulin's hair. "Why does this have Cerb written all over it?" she asked with a sigh before thanking the young boy who ran back over to his mother.

Erin smiled at her sister. Yup, Elle was definitely back to her normal self now. The younger twin stood up and began following Elle out of the room after Elle took her hand. She gave Jaylin a small smile and a wave in greeting as they passed by him to try to find Evelynn. "See you later, Jaylin." she called over her shoulder.

Kate's eyes narrowed when Thomas began asking her about her family life. "My family life is none of your business, Thomas Moses." she retorted bitterly. He had no right to question where she came from. "Keep your nose, which apparently can't tell how badly you stink on a daily basis, out of where it does not belong." But Thomas was right. Kate couldn't help but be a little bit jealous that Thomas had somewhat of a family life. However, she was not about to blatantly admit that Thomas was right to his face. "You have no right to mention my heritage or my parents, regardless of how much neglect they put me through. And as far as I'm concerned, you seem to have paid back Ms. obscenely senile old woman Rutherford back a hundred-fold already. So get your decaying death-defying butt moving already so we can finish this damn Herald business."

Aeon took a seat as she watched L train Moli. She was intrigued by what she saw. When L turned into pure light that was enormous she clasped her hands. Such power, it was incredible to see. She was hoping that Moli would be able to master this, she knew that he had the determination to do so though.

Elle looked at Erin as she smiled at her sister. The twins, I'm glad you two decided to finally come down, I've been expecting you my dears. If you don't mind we will go into the study, I found it was the best place to hone mental abilities Evelynn projected. Receiving the telepathic message as she and Erin followed Evelynn into the study. It was large with a multitude of books, clearly they were untouched but she didn't bother to ask. Oh these are a collection of all the books that I read before they were published by the authors, you'd be surprised how many good ideas never make it to the paper to publish. Anyway girls we can start with telepathic cloaking and psychic shadowing. Cloaking will prevent others from detecting you, while psychic shadowing will make you appear to be nothing but a shadow as well as the people around you. We can try it with your hive mind, relying on each other first...then we will try individually. We have a lot to cover girls. she finished projecting.

Bailey did not notice that Will was within the same hallway as her and nearly bumped into him as he spoke to her. Her icy blue eyes gazed up at him as if she was in a daze before falling upon the tray of food. At first she didn't speak, she merely stared at the blonde Satan Owl with that piercing gaze of his that would give other uncomfortable chills down their spine, but Will seemed like the kind of person who wouldn't be phased by such a thing. Finally, after a few moments of silence, she spoke. "While it would be amusing to have Anya make you vomit up your insides again, I guess I can bring her the food. She does need to eat something," the young and shy Diclonius Owl said taking the tray of food from him before turning and walking towards Anya's bedroom. When she reached it, she wrapped on the door tentatively. "Um...Anya? I have some food for you if you're hungry," Bailey called out timidly waiting for the Poison Owl to open the door. Maybe Anya wouldn't be so hostile towards her as she was with Will. Bailey was most likely about to find out.

Lomoli grimaced when L grew to the height of the cabana. With skill came training and it was the training phase that Moli detested. When L gave him his ultimatum, he removed his golden robe and stretched his arms. What bundle of emotions could he use to activate his newest power? Anger fueled his actual power, but he couldn't find anything to get L's power going. Probably emptiness was the best thing. According to L, getting this part of the training wrong wouldn't be fun for anyone. Except probably for L. He wouldn't be hurt of Moli burst into photons. "Alright big guy, I hear you loud and clear. Now, let's give this another shot huh?" The Herald in training emptied his mind just as his buddhist monk of a trainer instructed him to. Instead of his arm losing it's skin revealing a shell of white light, his right leg did. Opening his light blue eyes, he was at first met with disappointment. "Welp...failed agai--oh. Hey L! I got my leg to--" And just as Moli felt happiness, his skin broke away like an eggshell's chippings and his body grew, almost matching the height of his instructor. Looking at his dark cat eyes through his own light blue ones, Moli grinned. Thanks to his form, he couldn't see it.

"I mean, it has his smell on it. It might as well have his name on it." Roulin turned and looked at the kid with a smile. To show his gratitude, the owl turned, and held out his hand to the table at which the kid sat. The little boy's parents jumped, as did most of everyone in the restaurant. Only a few looked on with amazement. From the palm of Roulin's hand flowed a trail of sand that formed a small tornado inside of a cup. "That's for you to keep kid. But please don't take it into a desert. It'll run away...into a town." Not paying much attention to anyone else, Roulin turned and chuckled. "You know, you're right. Don't have to get paid all the time to feel good. And here's our waiter. If you don't mind ordering for me Cecilia, just let him know I'll have what you're having."

~~~
"Hmph. I didn't expect you understand anyway little lady, even though your the product of a broken home. Sheesh, you two need therapy." Thomas said as he continued his manual labor." When the prongs to the pitchfork broke off from being overworked, he tossed it aside and got a shovel. "How about this? If'n you two cityslickers are just going to stand here being useless, then leave. I can fly you know? I'll catch up you two later alright? We'll get to taking care of those big bag Herald's you're all so afraid of."
Che bit back a torrent of curses, but instead turned from the simple-minded bumpkin and walked toward the house. The now serious man walked past the house to the road and looked down it. Now that he knew where he was, he knew where to go. If Thomas wanted to stay, then fine. Che had no real dealings with the man anyway. Ready to leave, he waived to Kate, calling for her to come on. "If that idiot wants to stay here and do this for this lady, then fine. It'll be the first good deed he's done in his ******** life. Let's get out of here."
Seeing that Roulin was very good with children made Cecilia smile. He would be a good father someday when that time came. Cecilia then mentally shook her head as it was not a very good time to think about something like that. "I hope the creature is house-broken," Cecilia amused with a grin as the waiter came by. The way he stared at Cecilia was a mixture between bewilderment, disapproval, and interest. He poured them both a cup of coffee as was customary at a Denny's restaurant. Cecilia reached for a few packets of sugar as she spoke their order to the waiter. "We'll both have your traditional pancake breakfast," she said politely, ignoring the fact that the waiter seemed to be staring at her like a hungry animal that wanted to ravage her. She poured a few packets of sugar into her coffee and stirred it around. The waiter, clearly taken aback by Cecilia's nonchalance nodded and took the menus up before leaving the two Owls to themselves.
Roulin couldn't help but noticed how the waiter eyed both him and his girlfriend but moreso his girlfriend. What was his problem? Hadn't he ever seen a blue girl before? Well, probably not. Roulin dispelled the shockwave he had prepared for the man in case he decided to attempt something out of line. His stern glare given to the man as he passed by was as cold as ice and the man froze only for a moment as if an icy wind had passed over him. "Cecilia, I'm starting to see why my brother gets mad everytime he's near humans. Some of them are...disgusting. I don't want to explain what I felt coming from him." Roulin had already open his fifteenth pack of sugar by the time the azure Owl before had gotten onto her fifth. Despite the fact that it was steaming hot, he managed to drink a bit of it without any problems. "Man...I forgot to add cream...focus isn't a thing for me right now."
Timothy, like his other Herald bretheren, didn't require sleep to get along through their days. It was nice to feel human every now and then though. The Herald of Lightning had been awake for a while now and had even been to the market below to gather up groceries. "I'm back Sabrina." Timothy called out through the house. He took to his seat in front of the television and turned it on. Of course, he was proudd by what was being displayed. A nice little civil war brought on by the efforts of Raven's team in New York. "Heh. Good. Less work for us."
Cecilia couldn't help, but notice that Roulin seemed very disapproving of the way the waiter was staring at her. As soon as the waiter had left, Cecilia reached forward and lightly touched Roulin's hand reassuringly in order to attempt to calm him down. "Yes, some humans are disgusting. But please try not to let it bother you. Besides, he definitely isn't the first guy who's stared at me like he's wanted to ravage me. It won't help if a scene breaks out. I'm pretty used to having guys stare at me in that manner." She finished pouring the packs of sugar into her coffee and sipped lightly. The feeling of the hot liquid sliding down her throat enveloped her in warmth that started from the inside and worked its way out. "You'll feel better after a nice cup of coffee," she said optimistically. "A cup of joe makes everything better." Out of a habit, she removed her silverware from the napkin and began folding it into an origami flower.
L grinned wide and laughed, the sound only slightly deeper even with his larger size. Nothing blew up, that was good. "Welll close, but the task was to match me. Still..." The Herald teacher's light body slowly began to dissiapate till only human L was standing before his pupil. "It was good for a first try. I suppose i should be a tad more clear though. While it takes control of one's self and emotions to use a heralds power, each also is dominated by a particular trait." L pointed to his constant grin. "For Light it is happiness and well...you can figure out the others right? Now second part, return to being a human. This is simple...just relax...everything" The herald grinned at his student. Of course relaxing everything when feelings and signals were being sent through the body at light speed was a tad different but Moli didnt need to know that yet. He would find out. After all the best way to learn something such as this was to experience it.
Erin also heard the telepathic messages from Evelynn as she and her sister followed the woman into the study. The younger twin also looked around the room at the books. "Just show us what to do, and we'll do our best.' Erin replied to Evelynn with a smile. She also made the message available to her sister as well.
====
Kate scowled slightly at Thomas' reply. However, she declined to give him the satisfaction of even a simple retort. Instead, the Eternity Owl turned her back on the sweaty Owl of Death. "Fine. He can stay here for all I care then." she replied to Che as she caught with the Mastering Owl at the front of the house. "Let's just go."
====
Hearing the knock on her door, Anya got up from where she had been laying on the bed. "Ugh... What now...?" she muttered as she headed for the door. Upon opening it, she found it not to be any of Will's servants, which was a relief to her. Instead it was that Bailey girl that Nikolai had brought with him the night before. Anya gave Bailey a quizzical look. "What do you want?" she asked, more puzzled than annoyed right now. Why would Bailey be bringing her food? Anya didn't even know anything about her besides her name. "Why are you bringing me food?" she asked as well.
Evenlynn smiled. "Okay look" she said as she held out her hand causing a pink energy of psychic energy to be seen. "Now if I cloak this...you won't be able to sense there is energy being manipulated" she finished and now the ability couldn't be detected. As well now her presence was masked. It seemed as if she wasn't even there anymore. Notice how you can't even see me, though I'm right in front of you, this is great if you need to use your abilities without being found out she projected as she reappeared in front of the twins.
Elle was amazed by what Evelynn could do. She looked at her sister and smiled. Well Erin, let's give this a go she projected as she extended her hand as raw psychic energy could be seen, her color was a dark teal as she kept her mind in tune with Erin's as well. She then began focusing on cloaking her energy and her presence, she was hoping that Erin was able to complete her half.
((UNS - Will)
Bailey's thoughts were correct. The Satan Owl was not phased at all by Bailey's icy glazed stare. Will smirked as Bailey answered him, took the try, and left immediately for Anya's room. Maybe the vector girl showed some potential. As Itachi knew, William DeScythe had high standards. Potential didn't mean anything if it couldn't be developed or used.
Will found himself strolling to Nikolai's room and knocking on the door to check on Anya's other stalker. "Nikolai, hmm?" Whether he was actually in there was another matter.
Sabrina climbed out of the bed as she changed her "clothing" appearance. Her long red hair flowed behind her as she smiled. "Good morning Tim. So I guess you're cooking...what will that be?" she asked rubbing his chest as she looked into his eyes and smiled. Sabrina loved spending time with Timothy, even though they're beliefs were different, they had been working with each other for so long, that something had developed between the two. Even though they didn't require food, it was nice to still eat and try new recipes.
Nikolai had spent most of the time that passed while he was at Will's mansion in his room sleeping. Nik hadn't been to sleep for about a week, so it was a good reprieve. He was sleeping inside his shadow, with his music turned up loud. Surprisingly enough however, he heard the knock at the door and turned his music down, slipping the headphones around his neck and floating down, out of his shadow. He was on the ceiling, so he quickly hopped off and landed on is feet. The lights were off, so it was pitch black in the room, as Nik had closed the shades on the windows, he preferred it like this. He danced his way to the door and opened it to find Will standing at his door. Nik smiled and asked, "Hey there Will, did you need something?" He tapped his foot silently to the beat of his music and just barely stopped himself from humming along. Nik didn't really care for the Satan Owl, but it never hurt to be polite, especially when someone was letting you stay in their large, albeit strange, mansion.
