Greetings, and apologies for not posting earlier. I go by Ladybug the 3rd, and have been involved with music for most of my life.
I have been playing piano since third grade, and have been playing violin since sixth. In comparison, I have just finished my last year of college, so I've been playing for a good long while. I have a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance (surprise surprise).
I don't really have a favorite composer or piece. I like several things all at once....except rap music. Can't stand that.
For a random note, why I chose my name is this: I like ladybugs, and I like the number three. So, I gave myself a title, and now I prowl the interwebs as Ladybug the 3rd

Hello, everyone! I'm Hexarthrius. I play both the violin and piano, but what I play most is the violin. I belong in the Juan Voice Chorale, once known as the Voces Servient Choir in the Philippines. wink I love classical musics and I always listen to them everyday. When I like a certain music, I try to play it and remember the tune by ear, but I'm a good note reader. Once I play a song, there's no stopping me in memorizing it. I can memorize it in just days! Except for classical musics though, e.g. La Campanella (Piano), Winter Wind (Piano), etc. Anyways, nice to meet everyone here! smile
What I feel uncomfortable listening to are hard rock types of music. When I listen to a song, I always search for its meaning. That's how I like my music because I believe that when the song starts to play, its message is being conveyed in your mind unnoticeable. Just like I always say: Be careful on what to listen to! biggrin

Greetings, Classical Musicians guild!
While I don't play an instrument, classical music is one of my greater passions. I've taken many lessons and tried various instruments. It's just a talent that I quite apparently lack. This only gave me that much greater an appreciation for the skill and work of others, though. Strings, particularly the violin and cello are my favorite to listen to, though the sound of a silver flute also stirs me in a singular way. I won't claim a favorite composer or composition. There is very little in which I can't find something to enjoy. All well written and performed music conveys some feeling, story, or imagery with it. A 100 disc changer and a random button tends to be sufficient. biggrin

I go by Pez (not real name...duh) I have played the violin for about eight years and the guitar for about two. I am a concertmaster in my orchestra but I also perform solo. I love Ennio Morricome's orchestral pieces and I wish that they were available for all to play. I can play most stringed instruments by ear without knowing how to read their music (it's actually kinda fun) I basically taught myself the guitar (i.e. I really suck at guitar) If you have any questions relating to playing the violin I can try to help, just PM me.

Hi! I'm GT (thats what you can call me anyways) And I'm a violinst. I've been playing for five years in an orchstra. I don't think I'm good at playing but others say I'm a natural...I'm now a soloist, quitting my school orchstra due to a noob of a teacher. I also play paino,I taught myself in about a year.....so yeah

i play the viola and violin, i have been playing since i was like 9 i think
and i have been taking private lessons for about 4 years

Hello, I'm Estrellita. Unfortunately, I don't currently play any instruments. However, I'm working on persuading my parents for either piano or violin lessons. More than likely, I'm going to push for violin. My favorite composer is Ponce, his composition 'Estrellita' is my favorite. Which probably comes as no surprise.

Hey there. I'm Sarah, Mongoose, Perfectly, Drugged, Druggie, PD, Sam, Lightning, and any other name for me you can think of.
I play classical violin, although I fiddle when I'm bored, I admit.
I also do vocals, but that's not strictly classical, but mostly classical.
I don't know how many years I've played, but a good chunk of my almost 14 years. I've also taught a bit, and done way too many concerts in between those lessons.
I'd play anything by Vivaldi, and I like Debussy, too.

i play the drums, KIND OF, and even though i suck i kinda wanna get better. and then maybe i can learn other types of percussion. and hit them big bass drums in the back of a college orchestra someday, har har
but that's probably not gonna happen since i'm graduating high school soon and still can't play drums very well. (i've also tried violin, piano, and some chinese instrument but i failed)
um
i like jazz...

and i first decided i enjoyed classical music when i watched fantasia 2000
um
i'm not that good with music though. i don't know much.

I don't play band.... but I do sing.
Singing, dancing, and acting are like, my life.
But singing the most. xD
I've been loving it!
I play the piano, and I'm about to play the guitar. biggrin
