Dethan, City of Perpetual Darkness

Cecil held a tome in one hand, looking through the pages for a good spell. All the while he was cursing the whole scenario, wishing it had never happened.

Oscar held a hand-cannon at the enemy. His finger twitched a few times on the trigger, waiting to fire a shot.

Oscar accidentally squeezed the trigger which flew into the crowd. A vampire fell out of the fog and fell to the ground, dead.

Lilith wandered the forest until she came upon the town, she walked up to the pub and peeked in. She noticed people laughing and getting drunk, something she could not imagine herself doing. When she got here the undead were crawling about, she had a hard time avoiding them.

"Shh, don't waste your energy" Milo whispered to Syra, who he could see clearly disliked not being able to help.
Zoreal focused on a single pair of eyes, and threw his dagger into the darkness, a faint cry following shortly.

Syra just nodded and still tried to control her thirst but i was a challenge from all the blood she could smell. She just continued to bite her lip and a little more blood dripped down from her lips.

Kira nodded to Kain. He usually didn't like running from a fight, but Syra was injured. He picked her up again and nodded to Kain. "Thanks. Well, the Damned Woods are surrounding this place so we can meet up somewhere in there." He responded. He looked to Cecil, Oscar and Zoreal who seemed determined to fight off the vampires. He looked to Milo who wasn't fighting. "Milo, you can come with me if you want. You seemed concerned for Syra's wounds."

"We'll catch up with you later," Cecil said as he cast a spell killing a vampire.

"Don't worry about us, we will be right behind you." Oscar said as he shot at a few vampires.

[edit] Syra could feel Kira's cold body as he picked her up. It made her feel safe being in his arms. All she needed was some fresh blood and she would be fine. As he held her, she could smell his blood that was running through his veins. She closed her eyes tightly and continued to bit her lips making her fangs deeper and more blood dripping down. This was on thing she hated about being a vampire...the thirst or as she called the curse.

Kain smiled. "Heh, I'm feeling lucky." He ran off into the fog, moving quickly, he could see all his enemies easily. His eyesight was well adapted to darkness and fog, more steam, but still, he could see through it. He ran by and slashed one vampire clear through the stomach, splitting their body completely in half. "Come and get me, scum." Kain said mockingly to the other enemies. A vampire slashed at him through the fog. He got a scratch on his arm, and smiled. "Hardly a challenge." Kain said and cut at the fog, blood splattered in his face from the dead vampire's slashed neck. It fell to the ground. There were still a few more to go. Kain moved back into the line of vision of everyone else. He shook his head, as if thinking that doing so would get the blood off his face.

Milo looked surprised at Kira, but answered a "Sure." Yuu right behind him, He started running alongside Kira to the outside of the graveyard.
Zoreal, meanwhile, had pulled out the strange orb in his bag after noticing it's bright glow. He held it straight out and as though it were a part of him, made it shine brightly as he held it towards a vampire on the edge of the group, causing it to recoil in pain.

Kain peered through the fog. "Ok, there are about ten more of these things left." He said informing the others. Kain twitched and he could feel a personality switch coming on. He sighed deeply, knowing they could hear the breath being released from him. Kain smiled. "Don't mind me if I seem to go crazy." He twitched again and suddenly let out a primal roar that sounded very much like a dragon. Kain glared into the fog at the vampires and charged immediately. He took out three before they started to gang up on him. Kain turned on them and took out another one. He was getting angry, but he knew better than to transform in front of others. He swung his blade around and slashed at the arm of one vampire and it backed off. There were still six more to go.

Kira kept running with Syra. He knew that with her being a vampire, should we need more blood with all her blood loss. He hurried as fast as he could towards the dark woods. There was sure to be something they could get blood from.

Syra continued to breathe deeply trying not to give into temptation of the thirst. Everything was starting to get blurry and Kira's scent of blood was getting stronger but she would never forgive herself if she did it.

"Here, back to the ship!" Zoreal yelled, making the orb shine brightly, holding it toward the shadows, fending off the beasts of the darkness.
"Cecil, Oscar, go! Back to the ship!"
"Kain, are you going to come or stay?" Zoreal yelled, struggling to hold the glow.
