"Well yeah..." She hadn't thought much about little additional add ons, but she smiled widely instead. "However, this is breakfast. There isn't any of that stuff." It seemed even the bartender agreed with her.
"Thank you" She told him before he walked off.
Mayloo looked to Vence for a moment, and for some odd reason, she began blushing again. Maybe since they were sitting in silence now. A simple fix would be to start another conversation "A-anyways...Where do you think we should begin on our travels?"

"Well, I was thinking maybe Bankridge. I have a friend there who would be more than willing to help us out," Vence replied, turning to face Mayloo.
"His name's Theil. A great guy, really. I travelled with him for a time, and we got into some tight situations, I'll tell you that. He tries to crack jokes sometimes too...a lot, actually. Not very good at it, but the attempts are funny anyways," vence said, shrugging.

Mayloo nodded happily. "That sounds like a plan. A good headstart!" She smiled and hopped up from the chair once more as if to go run up stairs and get ready, and yet, she didn't move another muscle after realizing her stomach had growled at her.
"Maybe I'll wait then. But atleast he sounds like a friendly person" And just so nothing was mistaken. "I'd still prefer hanging out with you though"

"Very friendly, easy to get along with...and really now?" Vence asked, not quite surprised and yet...it was nice to know, for whatever odd reason. "You've never even met the guy yet."

"Y-yeah..I sort of...clicked with you" Mayloo's gaze dropped to the counter. "N-not that it means anything yet..." She tried recovering her earlier statement but it might still come across some way.
"I bet your friend is an ok person too." Maybe that would help her out

Vence watched her reaction with amusement. Usually, he was known to be seemingly oblivious to people's reactions and feelings, and that was usually indeed the case. But this just was too interesting for him to ignore. He could tell she was struggling; the stuttering gave it away partially.
Hey, don't think it means anything special to you. He had to agree with the voice in the back of his head. Maybe his guess was right, but it was best not to jump to conclusions so quickly. Later, perhaps...
"yeah, he's a good guy. Other than the funny factor, he's a lot like me, actually...well, not quite. We still have the occasional dispute about which is harder, being a blacksmith's apprentice, or chopping logs for the majority of the day. Don't ask how that debate happened. Even we don't really know anymore."
Pancakes and french toast, eggs, and lightly cooked bacon," the bartender said, appearing in front of them. He placed the two plates in front of each of them.
"Aha, thank you," Vence said, glancing at the stack of five slices of french toast.

To her it had gotten alittle awkward, then again, she was one to overreact about her actions sometimes.
Good thing Vence went on casually about something funny like petty arguments over somethings so random indeed. "I, unfortunantly, don't know much of the working class..." Which ment she had been spoiled, but never enjoyed it.
Another good occurance was when the food finally showed up. Now they could eat instead of talk so much. Obviously the more she talked, the more she embarassed herself

[heh, she really has a self esteem issue around Vence. whee ]
"You know, sometime's that's a good thing," Vence said, replying to her previous statement. "Saves less time for stress, and more time for having fun." With that said, he picked up a fork and knife, and started cutting his french toast into slices.
[I'll have to make a character sheet for Theil soon, I guess. 3nodding ]

((Well, When a girl likes a guys....they tend to be more careful around them XD ))
Mayloo shrugged "Well, I don't get to experiance a true lifestyle, just an artifically bought one." She shrugged while starting to cut apart the pancakes.
"Stress or no stress, I gotta get use to some wear" Mayloo began eating a few bits while sipping at the remainder of tea.
((yeah, maybe a mini one. I still gotta bring Solstice back too))

[heh, good point (real life experience)]
"That's true... just make it a gradual adaptation though, otherwise you'll end up screwing yourself over. Trust me, life is not good when you mess it up," Vence advised, taking a sip of water before taking a bite of french toast.
[Oh, I'm planning on having Theil stick around a bit, then take a break, then come back again. whee Depends on how it works out.]

((XD oh la la))
"Well yeah, I'll take the time to get use to it. I believe you" She took a few more bites, chewing them slowly before actually swallowing. The syrup was nice and hot ok the fluffy cakes. It was a good breakfast, always her favorite.
"I'll adapt to the world somehow"

"That's good,"Vence said, before taking another sip at his water. He really didn't know what to say now. Maybe some pointers? but, then he'd seem too much like a drill instructor or something. Not a nice picture. Taking a strip of bacon and taking a bite, he glanced over to Mayloo. She seemed to be enjoying her breakfast well enough.
He looked back to his own plate, not wanting to be accused of staring. Even so, though, he could't help but occasionally look out the corner of his eye. Everytime he looked at her...really, what was it?
Before it could get too awkward for him, he had to speak up... say something, at least.
"So...umm...I was doing some thinking. Yesterday, actually. That guy, Zevach...I could swear I've recognised him from somewhere before. I want to try and research whatever I can find about him. If he's trying to pull off something, I figurted it'd be best if ew find out all we can about him."
Nice conversation, huh? Well, he had to say something. It was the first thing that came to mind...well, not the first, but close enough.

She finished off her tea, placing the glass off to the side while taking another bite or two of pancake. Her head dropped alittle cause she felt alittle odd. Why did she have to be so...annoyingly shy? Why couldn't she just speak up and say something.
A good recovering came about when Vence started up some conversation. "Zevach huh? You think you really know him? Hm..., well I guess you have to chart of path then if your willing to do research. Which I would think to be difficult in this vast land."
Something to get them talking...

"yeah, that's what bugs me. For all I know, there's almost no information about him, though I was told he caused a lot of trouble years ago...hundreds of years ago. Apparently he played a significant role in the last great war. But there's not a lot of history left of that time era."
Vence by now had pretty much almost finnished his breakfast. A few more bites of french toast, a few more sips of his glass, and he'd be done. He took a bit before continuing.
"I don't understand how I know him, but when I saw him, while we were fighting...something clicked. Like we've met hundreds of times before. When he used that dark lightning...I knew he was going to do it before he even indicated it. I was that familiar with his moves.
"If I remember correctly, there's a huge library on the southern coast. I think it was...Yrthymul. In the southern bay. we can get there within a week and a half's time, if we travel by the road."

"Any towns with big, vast libraries of info? That could help" She took the last piece of pancake and neatly ate it while awaiting for more conversing. It was a good thing Vence brought somethings up.
"The human mind is complex...maybe you've caught a glimpse of him,or prehaps he haunted your dreams. Vanishing like that...who knows where he goes. It's like he could materialize anywhere he wants"
After that discussion, Vence answered her question, faster then usual but he was probably thinking the same thing. "Y-you mean walk? I don't mind the exercise, but I guess we'd have to be extra cautious. Not even a simple stroll can be dubbed safe"
