Elizabeth looked up at him and shook her head. "No, I am fine." she said to him with a calm voice. She pulled her legs up to her chest and wraped her arms around them. She laid her chin on her knees and stared at the blank wall. Her black hair fell over her cheek to hide her face from him as a sad frown showed up on her lips. It had been her fault for not telling Theo about her incident with the knife and it lead to her almost having her blood sucked out by Donovan. She shived slightly as she remember his fangs against her flesh, about to bit into it.

Theo sighed and sat down beside her. The back of his head was pounding, making him wince. But it was nothing he wouldn't get over. "I'm sorry about your door," he mumbled, trying to break the silence between them.

Elizabeth nuzzled her face into the crock of her arms. "I don't care about a stupid door. A door can be fixed." she said in an sad voice. She couldn't get the image of Donovan's fangs to her throut out of her head. She tried not to shake as hard as she could.

Theo frowned and gently placed a hand on the middle of her back. "Hey, it's ok," he murmured. "You're safe here." He wasn't going to let anything bad happen to her, not in his own room. He gently moved his hand up and down her back, hoping it would help soothe her.

Elizabeth felt tears fall down her face. She turned around and wrapped her shaking arms around his neck. "Thank you, for everything you have done." she said into his ear. She had never thanked him for saving her from his blood thrist brother yet, so she thought it seemed right to finally do it now while she had the chance. She did not release her arms from his throut, but instead kept them there and she laid her chin on his shoulder as her shaking calmed to a tremble to a full stop.

Theo blinked in surprise when he suddenly felt her warm arms around his stone cold neck. He blinked once more and hesitantly wrapped his arms around her. He was obviously unsure of himself, not certain what would gain a good result or a bad one. After his father's murder, he'd kept away from most people and broken most ties to others.

Elizabeth felt his hesitantion and she understood why he did so. But she wanted to give him warmed and to tell him that she would try her best to be there for him. The words did not come from her mouth, but so wanted to say those words. Instead she found three words fall from her mouth, three words she did not think she would say to him or anyone other than her parents for the longest of time. The words were, "I love you." They were very light and barely above a mummer, but they were fully audible to Theo's ears, and they were full of meaning.

Theo stiffened when the words sounded in his ears. "Um..." He had absolutely no idea how to react to that. She loved him?! But they just met! And she hated him less than an hour ago! He slowly released her from his grip and scooted back.

Elizabeth let her hands fall awy from him and she covered her mouth with her hand. She looked away from him and stared at the red covers. Shame filled her eyes as she relized she had said the words out loud with out fully relizing it. She turned away from him and just sat there.

Theo watched her cautiously, as if she had just lashed out at him and he thought she might again. "Um... I'm going to go see the nurse," he said. "I think it best you come with." He didn't want to leave her alone, not with Donovan on the loose.

Elizabeth simply nodded and let a small, "Okay," fall from her lips. She slid off the bed and placed her bare feet against the cool floor. She had her head bowed, as she did not want to see Theo's face at the moment.

Theo kept his gaze ahead as he walked to his door. He pulled it open and held it open for her before following her out. He pulled the door closed behind him and took the lead towards the nurse's office. His body ached and he probably tore some of his stitches.

Elizabeth followed silently. She lifted her head to stare at Theo's back. She was mentaily hitting herself for what she said just moments ago. She was contemplating in her mind of what she was to do about what she had said. She looked away from Theo's back to watch the floor as it moved beneath her as they headed to the nurse.

Theo stared ahead, lost in his thoughts. She loved him? How was that even possible? She had hated from the moment she met him! He was so deep in thought, he didn't even realize they'd reached the nurse's office until he walked into it.
